TOPIC: REPAIRING THE TREE OF LIFE
6-26-14 - DREAM - I was in an office somewhere and our friend Rita D.C. came up to me and greeted me. She said she had a gift for me.
(She specializes in Holy Grail knowledge) Her name means 'Pearl'.
Grailldy is also one of my e-mail names. (I also am a student of the Holy Grail)
Someone else subsequently asked what her motive was.
The gift was going to be brought to my home later in the day, after we got our day's work done, which was cleaning the office.
Now at home, Rita brought the gift into the house - it was a beautiful oval bathtub shaped bowl made of plaster of Paris or some other light material, with beautiful formed flowers and leaves all around it.
It was so beautiful we decided to place it on the floor in the livingroom right in front of the floor to ceiling window so that everyone passing by could see it and admire its beauty.
We carefully placed it on the floor and the second it touched the floor it broke into several large pieces.
NOTE: Joe Mason says it represents the shattering of the vessels, which is in Kabbalism.
New King James Version (NKJV)
45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

6-26-14 - THE SPIRAL QUILT
I was at my Mother's house - whether I lived there or was visiting I'm not certain.
On the window sill were some flower pots with dirt in them. There might have been seeds planted in them, but what I saw was water sprites coming up out of the dirt - in a spiral fashion - around and around and around to the left.
One of my family members - brother or sister was in their bedroom, which was right next to the laundry room. They said they had gotten some dirt on their quilt and it needed to be washed.
I told them we could easily do that. I knew how to run the washing machine.
Rather than bring the quilt into the room, there was an opening in the wall between the bedroom and the laundry room, and they fed three layers of bedding through the opening right into the washing machine - a sheet, a blanket, and the quilt, all in one pile. They fed it through the opening from one end which was okay to begin with, but they should be separated to wash them, starting with the sheet, then the blanket, and then the quilt.
But something went wrong while the bedding was coming through the opening in the wall - and the machine started spinning to the left, which it should never do while the lid is open.
The quilt looked beautiful while it was spiraling clockwise, but no water could come into the machine while it was open, and the bedding would never get clean, just twisted into a big spiraled mess.

6-26-14- DREAM - I was working on a web page about the Tree of Life, and repairing the Sefirot that needed fixing.
I went to other pages where the Sefirot were correct and copied them and moved them into the proper position on the new page, including the correct sounds and colors they needed to be.

6-30-14 DREAM - This dream was told to me over the telephone early this morning. My friend had no idea what it meant, so it's My interpretation. It's about the repair of the Tree of Life. (notice the reference to the wood in the dream)
I went to my Grandfather's house that no one was living in. The house had been sold to someone else after his death. (The Grandfather died at the age of 102 and was a full blooded Huron Indian from Canada - raised as a Catholic)
The people who purchased his house had moved out and abandoned the house because it needed serious repairs.
As I walked up to the front door, I saw a sign on it that the house needed repair. The door wasn't locked so I just walked inside.
The house to completely trashed - stuff and garbage everywhere on the floors. It was evident they weren't coming back so I started looking around on the floor to see if there was anything I could use.
The walls of the house were covered with white wallpaper that had brown flowers and leaves on it. The floor was white and tiled. I liked it a lot.
I looked towards the bedrooms and went down the hallways and discovered the doors were missing and the bedrooms were no longer there - the open doors just went outside.
My Mother then came into the house. She was my Grandfather's daughter.
I wondered why she wwas there and she said that the paperwork belonging to her Father that was the wiring plans for the house that would energize the house. She said that the plans were in the safe upstairs.
All of a sudden, my sister shwoed up and looked around. She said she hated the remodeling that had been done to the house. She said the original white 'brch' paneling and the hard wood floors was so much better.
I had to agaree that she was right. The original was better.
Then two men came to the door and asked why we were there.
My Mther told them she was there to get the wiring plans from upstairs.
We asked the men why there were there and they answered they were there to repair the house.
My Mother said, "Well! Let me go upstairs and get the wiring plans from the safe. I'm the only one who knows the combination to the safe."
We all headed for the hallway that had the stairs to the upstairs and discovered that the stairs were completely burned away.
The repairman said, "We can fix all the things that are wrong."
My Mother replied, "Well! Maybe the electrical wiring plans are under the kitchen sink after all."
So we all walked into the kitchen and I opened the cabinet under the sink and 'instantly woke up'.
NOTE: Considering I had just typed up the other two dreams about the Tree of Life yesterda, I 'knew' that this dream was related because of the repairs needed. Keep in mind that the tree of Life has a left pillar and a right pillar - the two lamp stands.
Matthew 7:24-27 Palestine is naturally a land of hills and mountains, and as a result, it is subject to violent rains and sudden floods. The Jordan River annually swells to dangerous levels and becomes rapid and furious. The streams that run through the hills can suddenly swell with rain and spill tremendous amounts of water onto the plains below, sweeping everything before them. Houses erected within reach of these sudden deluges - especially those founded on sand or other unreliable foundation - cannot stand before them. The rising stream shakes a house to its foundation and erodes away its base until it falls. Rocks are common there, however, so it is not hard to find a solid foundation. With this in mind, Jesus concludes the Sermon on the Mount by illustrating the benefit of obeying His words. It is not enough to hear them; they must be obeyed. He compares a person who hears and obeys Him to a man who builds his house on a rock. Introducing the Parable of the Two Builders (Matthew 7:21-28), He says, "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man" (verse 24). He then describes this wise man as building his house, that is, his whole life, on the rock of genuine subjection to God. Conversely, the disobedient use unfit material as the foundation of their lives.
ZECHARIAH 4
And the angel who talked with me came again, and waked me, like a man
that is wakened out of his sleep. 2 And
he said to me, "What do you see?" I said, "I see, and behold, a
lampstand all of gold, with a bowl on the top of it, and seven lamps on
it, with seven lips on each of the lamps which are on the top of it. 3 And
there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the
other on its left." 4 And
I said to the angel who talked with me, "What are these, my lord?" 5 Then
the angel who talked with me answered me, "Do you not know what these
are?" I said, "No, my lord." 6Then
he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerub'babel: Not by
might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts. 7 What
are you, O great mountain? Before Zerub'babel you shall become a plain;
and he shall bring forward the top stone amid shouts of 'Grace, grace to
it!'"8 Moreover
the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 9 "The
hands of Zerub'babel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands
shall also complete it. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has
sent me to you. 10 For
whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice, and shall
see the plummet in the hand of Zerub'babel. "These seven are the eyes of
the LORD, which range through the whole earth." 11 Then
I said to him, "What are these two olive trees on the right and the left
of the lampstand?" 12 And
a second time I said to him, "What are these two branches of the olive
trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the oil is
poured out?" 13 He
said to me, "Do you not know what these are?" I said, "No, my lord." 14 Then
he said, "These are the two anointed who stand by the Lord of the whole
earth."

Shevirat ha-Kelim (Breaking of the Vessels)
According to Luria, the ten vessels that were originally meant to contain the emanation of God's light were unable to contain that light and were hence either displaced or shattered. As a result of this cosmic catastrophe, the Sefirot, the archetypal values through which the cosmos was created, are shattered and out of place, and the world within which we reside, is composed of the shards of the these broken values. It is significant that for the Kabbalists, only 6 of the 10 Sefirot (from Chesed to Yesod) were fully shattered (Malchut, the final vessel was broken partially). Had all of the vessels, including, Keter, Chochmah, and Binah, been shattered, the universe would have been thrown back into the state of complete and utter chaos, the toho and bohu prior to creation. As it is, the three highest Sefirot, which represent Will, Wisdom, and Understanding, remained intact; only the six Sefirot representing the spiritual, moral, aesthetic and material values were broken, and are, hence, in need of restoration or repair (Tikkun). Nevertheless, the Breaking of the Vessels is a truly cataclysmic event. Will, Wisdom and Understanding remain, but all other values, particularly those embodied in the cultural and symbolic order of mankind, have been shattered. Further, while certain forms (may) remain, their embodiment in matter, is chaotic and confused. The Breaking of the Vessels is, according to the Lurianic Kabbalah, a clearing of the decks, a fresh start, and a challenge to the structures that we equate with our own civilized life. It is, in short, an eruption of chaos into the heart of our spiritual, conceptual, moral and psychological structures.
There is also a decided erotic aspect to the Breaking of the Vessels. The vessels, as described by Luria's most important disciple, Chayyim Vital, are envisioned as being located in the womb of the feminine Partzuf, the Cosmic Mother, an expression of the age-old symbol of the feminine as "vessel", "receptacle" and "container". Further, the shattering of these vessels brings about a state of affairs in which the masculine and feminine aspects of the cosmos, which had hitherto been in a "face to face" sexual conjunction, turn their backs upon one another and become completely disjoined. The "chaos" brought about by the Shevirah("breakage") leads to an erotic alienation, a condition that can only be remedied through a rejoining of opposites through a renewed coniunctio of the sexes. At the same time, like the water that breaks signaling the birth of a new human life, the Breaking of the Vessels also heralds a new birth, that of a new personal and world order to be completed by man in the process of Tikkun.
The Breaking of the Vessels has a variety of
important implications for theology, philosophy, human development and
psychology (on the Shevirah and psychotherapy see "This
Is Gold" on this website. These topics are
the subject of Chapter 1, pp. 26-29, 37-39 (re: deconstructive philosophy) and
Chapter 7, pp. 294-329 of Symbols of the Kabbalah. Chapter 8 of that work
discusses the implications of Shevirat ha-Kelim for the problem of evil. The
significance of the Shevirah symbol in the context of Jungian thought is
discussed in Kabbalistic Metaphors, pp. 336-40 (see also "Jung
and the Kabbalah" on this website.)
Both Symbols of the Kabbalah and Kabbalistic Metaphors also provide discussions
of the Breaking of the Vessels in the context of dialectical and Hegelian
philosophy. The relationship between the Breaking of the Vessels and
contemporary deconstructionism is an important topic that will be the subject of
a later posting.
The Lurianic Kabbalah
Rabbi Isaac Luria (1534-72), was perhaps the
most visionary and original of the theosophical Kabbalists. Luria offered novel
insights into and interpretations of the classic Kabbalistic text, the Zohar,
and his myth of creation, deconstruction and restoration became a dominant motif
throughout later Kabbalistic and Hasidic thought. Luria's theosophical system
serves as an important foundation for the New Kabbalah, i.e. for a Kabbalistic
approach to contemporary theology, philosophy and psychology.
On this page, Luria's theosophy is described
in outline form, with links connecting the reader to fuller descriptions and
interpretations of the major Kabbalistic symbols, as well as to matters of
comparative interest. Readers interested in more detailed discussions of these
topics are referred to the "Books" and "Articles" links on this website.
When it arose within Ein-sof (the
Infinite) to weave Yesh (Something)
from its Ayin (Nothing) Ein-sof performed
an act of
Tzimtzum, contracting and concealing itself from a point, thereby forming a
central, metaphysical void. It is in this void that the Primordial Man, Adam
Kadmon, and all the countless Worlds
(Olamot) emerge.
Lights flashing and recoiling from the eyes,
nose, mouth and ears of the Primordial Man emanate the ten archetypal values,
the Sefirot
and the 22 holy letters (Otiyot
Yesod), which were to be the building blocks of the universe and the
structural elements of all things.
These lights first formed vessels (Kelim) that
were to contain the further emanations of the light of the infinite (Or
Ein-sof). However, the vessels could not contain these emanations, and in a
cosmic catastrophe known as the Breaking of the Vessels (Shevirat
ha-Kelim), the vessels were displaced and shattered. The letters, which had
been initially assembled into meaningful groups became a
The broken vessels tumbled down through the
metaphysical void, trapping within themselves sparks of the emanated divine
light. These entrapped sparks became shrouded in layers of darkness as they fell
into the Sitra Achra, the "Other
Side." The world, instead of being composed of the pristine archetypal values of
Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge, Love, Judgment, Beauty, etc. was now formed of
the broken, displaced, and obscured lights and vessels as they coalesced as Kellipot (Husks,
complexes). As a result, our world (Assiyah-"making"), is, as Adin Steinsaltz
has put it, "the worst of all possible worlds in which there is still hope," yet
paradoxically it is the best of all possible worlds because it serves as the
arena for redemption (see "The
Mystic As Philosopher").
As a result of the Breaking of the Vessels,
the Primordial Adam was himself partly shattered into a multitude of individual
souls, who themselves are comprised of the same fragments or Kellipot that
form our world, and which are exiled and alienated in the "Other Side.". The
task of individual men and women is to extract (via an act of birur)
those sparks (netzotzim) that are his or her fortune to encounter in life, and
to raise and spiritualize them, so as to reconstitute the Sefirot and
the figure of the Primordial Man as five
Partzufim (Visages or
Personalities of God) and restore the harmony of the opposites, as well as the
conjugal relations between the masculine and feminine aspects of God, man and
the world.
Each individual, as he or she travels along life's path, encounters those persons, events and things that contain sparks that he or she is uniquely suited to redeem. Likewise, the objects which and people who, an individual encounters are potentially suited to assist that individual in raising the sparks within his or her own soul. Each encounter and each life event is an opportunity to raise a spark of holy light or plunge the world even further into darkness. The "raising of the sparks" is the vehicle of Tikkun ha-Olam, the Restoration of the World. The ideal of a restored and redeemed world, which overcomes chaos and evil, gives meaning to that which is senseless, and concretizes the abstract values represented in the Sefirot, is the highest possible perfection, a perfection that assures the completion of Ein-sof the Infinite God. For Luria, divinity (Ein-Sofis not simply the origin of the world, but is rather identified the entire theosophical system, and includes God, the world and humanity. Ein-Sof is completed only through the restorative acts of humankind.
Ein-sof
Ein-Sof, the Infinite God, has no static, definable form. Instead, the Kabbalists conceive God, the world and humanity as evolving together through, and thus embodying, a number of distinct stages and aspects, with later stages opposing, but at the same time encompassing, earlier ones. The Kabbalist¹s God is both perfectly simple and infinitely complex, nothing and everything, hidden and revealed, reality and illusion, creator of man and created by man,. As Ein-Sof evolves it is progressively revealed as "nothing whatsoever" (Ayin), the totality of being, the Infinite Will (Ratzon) , Thought and Wisdom, the embodiment of all value and significance (the Sefirot), the wedding of male and female, and ultimately the union of all contradictions. Ein-Sof is both the totality of this dialectic and each of the points along the way. Ein-Sof must be constantly redefined, as by its very nature, it is in a constant process of self-creation and redefinition. This self-creation is actually embodied and perfected in the creativity of humanity, who through practical, ethical, intellectual and spiritual activities, strives to redeem and perfect a chaotic, contradictory and imperfect world.
The Kabbalists used a variety of negative epistemological terms to make reference to the hidden God; "the concealment of secrecy", "the concealed light", "that which thought cannot contain" etc. (Gershom Scholem, Kabbalah, p. 88) each of which signifies that this God is somehow beyond human knowledge and comprehension. However, there are other terms, e.g., "Root of all roots", "Indifferent Unity", "Great Reality," (Scholem. Major Trends, p. 12) "Creator," "Cause of Causes" and "Prime Mover" (as well as the term, Ein-Sof, "without end") which signify that God is the origin of the world, the reality of the world, or the totality of all things. Yet in spite of the positive connotations, even those Kabbalists who utilized such terms held that they referred to a God who is completely unknowable and concealed. Of this God, the proto-Kabbalistic work, Sefer Yetzirah had earlier said "restrain your mouth from speaking and your heart from thinking, and if your heart runs let it return to its place" (Sefer Yetzirah. I. 8, as translated in Tishby, The Wisdom of the Zohar. Vol , 1 p 234).
As explained in Symbols of the Kabbalah, Chapter Two, Ein-sof provides a rational/spiritual answer to the questions "Why is there anything at all?" and "What is the meaning of human life?" Ein-sof begets a world so that He, as the source of all meaning and value, can come to know Himself, and in order for His values, which in Him exist only in the abstract, can become fully actualized in humanity. Ein-sof is both the fullness of being and absolute nothingness, but is not complete in its essence until He is made real through the spiritualizing and redemptive activity of mankind. Ein-sof is mirrored in the heart and soul of man, but, more importantly, He is actualized in man's deeds.
Ein-sof is discussed in detail throughout Symbols of the Kabbalah, but in particular in Chapter 2, pp. 60-119). Ein-sof is discussed in relation to Brahman in Hinduism, the Leoma in Gnosticism, the One and the Good in Plato and Plotinus, the Absolute in Hegel, and the unconscious in Freud and Jung, in Kabbalistic Metaphors. Daniel Matt has written a scientifically oriented introduction to Ein-sof appears in Tikkun Magazine and is excerpted from his book God and the Big Bang.
The Lurianic Kabbalah is treated in detail in Sanford Drob's Symbols of the Kabbalah and Kabbalistic Metaphors .

The Lurianic Kabbalah
In my usual habit of attempting the impossible, I propose three definitions, or three levels of definition:
Level One: Cosmological
In Gnostic cosmology, Archons are a species of inorganic beings that emerged in the solar system prior to the formation of the earth. They are cyborgs inhabiting the planetary system (exclusive of the earth, sun and moon), which is described as a virtual world (stereoma) they construct by imitating the geometric forms emanated from the Pleroma, the realm of the Generators, the Cosmic Gods. The Archons are a genuine species with their own proper habitat, and may even be considered to be god-like, but they lack intentionality (ennoia: self-directive capacity), and they have a nasty tendency to stray from their boundaries and intrude on the human realm. Archons are said to feel intense envy toward humanity because we possess the intentionality they lackThe Gaia Mythos describes how the Archons were produced by fractal impact in the dense elementary field arrays (dema) of the galactic limbs, when the Aeon Sophia plunged unilaterally from the galactic core. See especially Episode 10. This event is also described in detail in Alien Dreaming.
Level Two: Noetic-Psychological
In Gnostic psychology, the noetic science of the Mystery Schools, Archons are an alien force that intrudes subliminally upon the human mind and deviates our intelligence away from its proper and sane applications. They are not what makes us act inhumanely, for we all have the potential to go against our innate humanity, violating the truth in our hearts, but they make us play out inhumane behavior to weird and violent extremes. Left to our own devices, we would sometimes act inhumanely and then correct it, contain the aberration. Obviously, we do not always do so. In the exaggeration of our insane and inhumane tendencies, and in extreme, uncorrected deviance from our innate intelligence, Gnostics saw the signature of an alien species that piggy-backs on the worst human failings.
Hence, Archons are psycho-spiritual parasites. Yet as offspring of the Aeon Sophia, they are also our cosmic kin.
As inorganic entities of two types, embryonic and reptilian, Archons can at
moments penetrate the terrestrial atmosphere and terrorize humans, although
there is no reason or order to these forays, for the aliens cannot remain for
very long in the biosphere and, anyway, they have no master plan to accomplish
here. The ontological status of the Archons is dual: they exist both as
an alien species independent of humankind, and as
a presence in our minds, rather like a set of programs operating in our mental
environment. The risk they pose by invading our mental software is far greater
than any physical risk they might pose by erratically breaching the biosphere.
Working through telepathy and suggestion, the Archons attempt to deviate us from
our proper course of evolution. Their most successful technique is to use
religious ideology to insinuate their way of thinking and, in effect, substitute
their mind-set for ours. According to the Gnostics, Judeo-Christian salvationism
is the primary ploy of the Archons, an alien implant.
Our capacity to discern alien forces working in our minds is crucial to survival and co-evolution with Gaia who, as Sophia, accidentally produced the Archons in the first place. (This comment belongs to Level One, the cosmological definition, but as so often happens with Gnostic teachings, noetic and cosmic elements tend to merge.) By recognizing and repelling the Archons, we claim our power, define our boundaries in the cosmic framework, and establish our purpose relative to Gaia, the indwelling intelligence of the planet.
Level three: Sociological
In the Gnostic view of human society, the Archons are alien forces that act through authoritarian systems, including belief-systems, in ways that cause human beings to turn against their innate potential and violate the symbiosis of nature. LIVE spelled backwards is EVIL, but the Archons are not evil in the sense that they possess autonomous powers of destruction, able to be applied directly upon humanity. They are agents of error rather than evil — but human error, when it goes uncorrected and runs beyond the scale of correction, turns into evil and works against the universal plan of life. Gnostics taught that the Archons exploit our tendency to let our mistakes go uncorrected.
Because the Archons need human complicity to gain power over humankind, any one who assists them can be considered a kind of Archon, an accessory. How do humans assist the Archons? One way (suggested in the Level Two definition) is by accepting the mental programs of the Archons — that is, adopting the alien intelligence as if it were human-based — and implementing those programs by actually enforcing them in society. Another way is by actively or passively conforming to the agendas so proposed and imposed.
Jacques Lacarriere suggests that Gnostics detected the humanized face of the Archons in all authoritarian structures and and systems that deny authenticity and self-determination to the individual. He argues that Gnostics recognized "the fundamentally corrupt character of all human enterprises and institutions: time, history, powers, states, religions, races, nations..." (The Gnostics, p. 24) Corruption occurs, not because we make errors, but because the errors we make go uncorrected and extrapolate beyond the scale of correction. Lacarriere says that Gnostics reached this conclusion “out of rational observation of the natural world and human behavior.” Ultimately, they asserted the “contention that all power – whatever kind it may be – is a source of alienation... All institutions, laws, religions, churches and powers are nothing but a sham and a trap, the perpetuation of an age-old deception.” (p. 28-29) This may seem like a dark view of human affairs, but given the evidence of history (not to mention current events), it cannot be said to be unfair or exaggerated.
For an intimate glimpse of Gnostic teaching on the Archons, including advice
on how to act when directly confronted by them, consider the passage from The
First Apocalypse of James, cited in A
Gnostic Catechism (forthcoming).

THE TREE OF LIFE
1-23-98 - VISION - As I was falling asleep, I was watching two little girls playing with a ball of light. They ended up standing on the ball of light which was flaming around their feet, but it was not hot. It was cool white light.
In the dream that followed, I was shown this symbol which is very similar to the Tree Of Life.
It was made all of golden light flowing like golden threads between golden balls of light. I watched it for a long time. It was so beautiful, it still makes me cry to think about how beautiful it was.
|
6-13-99 - DREAM - I was near a city park somewhere. In the park was a dead tree, peeled of all it's bark. All it's branches and leaves were gone. I knew that when the cops caught a criminal, they peeled all the bark off a tree. I was standing, pinned between a large tree which I was hugging and a black wrought iron fence about 5 feet high. There seemed to be something behind me as well because I could not move backwards either. I was trying to figure out how the cops could peel the bark off this tree to catch the 'other' criminal while I was pinned to it. I was struggling to move away from the tree, but it was impossible.
End of Dream
After I woke up and was laying there remembering my dreams, I first had a vision of a futuristic black lazer gun hanging in the air, and then heard a voice say, "You influence the Pentagon".
A rather heady message to be sure, but I find Geralds' and this dream list's opinions to be of more value. :-)

I lay down to meditate on the tree dream to find out if I missed anything important in the dream. I was shown another bare trunked tree without branches and shown that I had dreamed about it before:
5-12-98 - DREAM - I went back and forth between typing on a computer page about alien abduction and people dreams. The most memorable people dream was this: I was sitting by the window at my 16th St. house and the tree in the backyard began swinging it's branches like they were arms and the branches jumped off the top of the tree like leaping into the next yard to start its own tree. Meanwhile the remaining tree trunk turned white and died. Although no people seemed to be involved, I could see that the stumps of the tree were obviously sawed.
EOD
11-14-98 - VISION - I saw a piece of white paper. The words, "WHAT IF?" appeared and below it was a bunch of scribbles like an explosion drawn by a child. I flipped the paper over and the word 'SEE' appeared on the left side of more explosion scribbles and a tree trunk and all branches were gone. All that was left was the bare trunk.

Howdee! Lady Dee,
Boy! you are quick on your skates today. Hey! Thanks for Joel! Wow! Rapido Presto!
This version seems to be fine. I especially love this passage here...
15 Ah, ah, ah, for the day: because the day of the Lord is at hand,...
How funny?!! ah! ah! ah! :)
Anyways, a most wonderful dream again... and don't worry it's not scary, just exciting a little... because the Big Gun is on your side... Beware Pentagon! :)
I also love this possible link to the two trees of Revelation... which could very well be another solid lead?
I tell you what... we'll sleep on it and see what the Night will bring? This dream has many folds!
Great Work! Lady Dee! In the Best of Both Worlds!
Cheers! To You!

Now, this thing about a Tree getting peeled by the cops, when they caught a criminal, reminds me very much of a major criminal by the name of Jesus who a couple thousands of years ago or so, according to some was pinned to a Tree, like a butterfly in a collection, instead than on a couple crossed plancks of wood!!
So, the next criminal in this case, which could get pinned on this tree which has not yet been barked is obviously the Coming One... the Great King of Terror, which is always the most hated man in the world when he comes in the flesh!!! :)
It is very well known and established fact that whenever he comes in the flesh at a certain time he becomes the most wanted dangerous criminal on the planet and of course because he is a shit-disturber all the authorities want to get rid of him and kill him... which is quite normal in a materialistic minded world!
However, his chances of survival in the present society in a world of communication his chances of survival are a slightly better than usual especially if some people work to prevent this calamity. Yes! Exactly as stated by Erich Neumann...
" ....even if at first, the genius is hounded down, starved to death, and silenced by the democracy of consciousness. The fact that millions of human beings work together consciously and are simultaneously concerned with the vital problems of the collective- political, scientific, artistic, or religious- makes the probability of his acceptance ever (not "even"...ever) greater. The time lag between the appearance of a genius and his assimilation by the democracy of consciousness is relatively small. For the Great Individual himself it may be tragic, but so far as humanity is concerned, it is irrelevant." (end of the chapter of "The Group and the Great Individual" taken from "Origins and History of Consciousness, by E. Neumann, p.435)
... which means that if people care enough about the Creator his chances of survival are better because it is obvious that he disturbs the material establishment and those who rule the world by force symbolically represented in this dream by the Pentagon for example.
However, this guy, a tiny poor little human, is much more powerful than anything on Earth, from the Spiritual World point of view... because as the Ruler of both Heaven and Hell, he is the ones who has the last word on who is to live eternally or die in the Spiritual World after material death, of course. He is the one who will judge all the Deads or Ghosts of such, if you prefer and will decide which ones which shall enjoy heavenly bliss or suffer what has been referred as the Second Death.
There is no need to be afraid of powerful earthly establishment like the Pentagon or the nuclear bomb which can surely kill the material because these things cannot destroy nor the souls nor the ghost bodies that we embody in our dreams! :)
"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but who cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in Hell." (Mat. 10,28.)
And the Second Death phenomenon is very well explained in the Book of Revelation... in chapter 20...
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
...and again in chapter 21...
6 He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
... and this is very easy to understand.
For example, take these dreams of these two guys which were killed in recent previous lives by Nuclear Explosions...

I have had two or three dreams like that.
In the most vivid one, I saw the bright flash way off in the distance, followed by the stereotypical mushroom cloud... it was in absolute silence, because the sound had not reached me yet. (That was the scary part -- it was so realistic.)
I remember I could see the shock wave approaching me -- debris and such -- and I remember thinking, "I'll bet I've already received a lethal dose of radiation. I'll bet I'm dead already."
Very, very spooky.

Anyone have dreams about nuclear explosions? For some reason I have had a lot of them over the years, sometimes I am killed, and I then continue on as some sort of ghost.
... which is exactly what happens!! :)
However, the terrifying thing bout this promised eternal life is that it can be cut very short for anyone who doesn't believe that the earthly world should be ruled by the same person who rules the Spiritual World... which is exactly what Jesus said for example...
"But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be King over them - bring them here and kill them in front of me." (Luke 19,27)
... who was making an allusion to what would happen to anyone who didn't want him as the King on earth as soon as they would enter heaven. God is not a mass murderer, but as the life giver in both worlds, he knows what to do with the ungrateful assholes whom he has created and cannot return some little courtesy. :)
Here is a little dream, from Mrs. Barbro Nygren from Sweden, which was posted in the Core of Electric dreams on Friday the 6th of march 98, which show this type of power which this funny guy possesses...
Dreamed about a barn and there was a threat. The threat was terrible, more worse than a atomic bomb effect, worse than plague, starvation and dead. I manage to flee down to people so that they could phone to the police. All took protection in a house with glassed-in roof. The threat destroyed everything in its way and suddenly can I see the threat. The threat are on the roof as a shadow and I realizes that, the threat do not become dangerously if I find out what it is. I says to the police to not fire and decides me, in order to see were the threat takes its way. Goes in to the woods, to a cottage. On this garden was all possible things, old automobiles, timber, animals and hens. I see a man that repair an autocycle and I knows that he is the threat in the barn. Then we goes besides each other on a way, talking and the feeling is a calmness.
... and you see, this tiny little friendly guy, who is the Verb, is the Sovereign Lord of Hosts, The Lord of All Spirits!! ... and truly he is more dangerous than anything you could ever imagine... and whether he gets assassinated or allowed to live a long earthly life that doesn't change nothing to the fact that he is the Commander of the Divine Army of Heaven and the appointed Ruler of the Eternal World and the Judge of the Deads! In other words there is nothing which can happen to the Winged-Horse Rider which can alter his presence in the Other World!
So, that is the so-called criminal(s) of the dream of Lady Dee... the one who was crucified nearly 2000 years and who unfortunately is here again... and will cause the big war with his big mouth which is represented by the futuristic weapon also seen by Lady Dee.
However, as I mentioned earlier the main thing in this dream is the confirmation by the scene of the Barked Tree which is that the Day of the Lord is at hand... which is the beauty of this dream... which relates to the prophecy of Joel. Actually, this opens up to all kinds of other things and several other dreams which just occurred recently... For example...
17 The beasts have rotted in their dung
... and this of course has reminded me of this dream of mine which I posted a couple weeks ago...
However, the best part of the dream was at the end, when I entered, still with Bob Hart, at dawn, when the day was about to rise, an awful outside court of an Animal Slaughter House. On the south side of the court was the building where they slaughtered the animals. On the north side, was a corral with the animals to be slaughtered... mostly horses and cattle... beautiful and intelligent looking ones. In the courtyard, which was covered by this thick brown-reddish blood and excrement juice, was prevailing an awful stinking putrefaction smell and basically in the center of it was this heap or stack of manure mixed with guts and bone carcasses of dead slaughtered animals. My disgusted eyes were attracted by the pitiful sight of the nearly skinless carcass of a newborn foal which laid on its side, all twisted up, at the bottom southern side of this pile and I was all moved by this inhumane death scenery. To my utmost surprise, the dead foal, who listening to my caring words, opened its eyes and with supreme effort raised its head. I was shocked. A guy, dressed as a city cowboy and working there, came by as I moved around the pile keeping my eyes on this most horrifying foal and told the guy...
"There's a foal which is alive in the pile... why isn't it taken care of?" and he replied something like...
"Yes! it was born when we slaughtered a mare... so how could we take care of it?"
... and as he said that, I could see the foal who was trying to get up and noticed, because it was now resting on its belly, that it had a funny bunched-up pack of bones on its shoulder zone... as the guy escorted me by a wide opened gate to see the animals which were going to be soon slaughtered. My heart was greatly suffering seeing all these beautiful and friendly animals which were coming by themselves to be patted as the sun was rising... still thinking about the poor orphan foal which seemed to desperately wish to live.
Before we decided to head out from this awful place, I went back, by curiosity, to see the poor dying foal for a last time... and, beyond my wildest imagination, it was up, rapidly healing and to my pure wonderment, now up and facing the sun, I noticed that it had grown up quite a bit, to the size of one which was about a month old or so???... and was now drying up and proudly STRETCHING AND EXERCISING ITS WINGS of which I could see the bones especially the larger ones at the base which were still exposed and not yet totally healed... as it was moving its wings up and down... and happily thought to myself...
"This Newborn of the Dead... "Baby Winged-Horsed-Sun" won't be staying here, in this filthy death place, much longer... whether the people care about it or not?!!"
...as I finally walked out of this animal hecatomb with a bizarre feeling of mixed emotions caused by the sight of this unthinkable victory of life of over death which somehow put a big smile on my face."

Dear Dreamers,
This Wish Granting Tree which is growing through my Ghost Body is most revealing attribute of an Eternal Life-Giving Deity... it is very simple and again universal. I am doing here a little again cross-cultural presentation on the subject as usual... and I must have about 5 times more material on this magical tree, from all the Mythologies which I am not even touching here, but that should be enough... for today.
This first time the story comes from Islam and relates to the Trees of Paradise which the Muslims call the Garden.... and comes from a book which I don't even have the title... but is divided into some 46 short chapters which all begin by "Concerning" this or that... and the following is from the 45th chapter, from pages 129 to 132...which is entitled "Concerning the Trees and Houris of the Garden". The Houris are some kind of Fairies and I will expose only the Trees.
"Ka'b, may Allah be pleased with him, said: " I asked the Messenger of Allah about the Trees of the Garden", and he, the Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him, said:
"Their branches do not dry up nor their leaves fall and their fruits do not vanish. The largest of the trees of the Garden is the Tree of Tuba. Its roots are of pearl, its trunk of ruby, its branches of chrysolite, and its leaves of silk brocade. On it are seventy thousand branches, and these branches are connected to a leg of the Throne (of Allah). The nearest of its branches are in the nearest heaven. There is not a room, nor a dome, nor a tree in the Garden that doesn't have a branch of the Tree of Tuba shading it. Its roots are in Heaven and its light reaches every corner. On it are fruits whose rareness is desired in this world, and which are not in this world."
As Allah-ta'ala said:
"Its clusters nigh to gather, Eat and Drink with wholesome appetite, for what you did long ago, in the days gone by." ( Holy Kuran, 69:23-24 )
"When the wind blows, the leaves of the Tree strike each other, and a sound comes from them whose beauty has not been heard. From its top come out "Robes of Honour" (Immortal Ghostly Spiritual Bodies), and from its base "Horses with Wings", saddled with saddles inlaid in pearl and ruby, which do not drop dung nor urinate. The Awliya (friends) of Allah ride them, and fly with them in the Garden."
"Those who are lower than them will say: " O Lord, for what reason have you given these "Servants of Yours" this Karama (Miracle)?"
"So, Allah-ta'ala will say to them: " These are the Ones who prayed while you were sleeping, fasted while you ate, fought Jihad while you were sitting with your women, and were spending their wealth in the Way of Allah while you were miserly."
And so the Prophet, peace be upon him said: " In the Garden is a Tree, and a Rider (on a Winged-Horse) could travel for one hundred years in its shade and not pass from it."
As Allah-ta'ala said:
"Have you not regarded your Lord, how he extended the shadows? (3:19)
And so the Prophet, peace be upon him said: "Shall I tell you about an Hour which is most like the Hours of the Garden? It is the Hour which is before the Rising of the Sun, when its Shade spreads."

So, you see the Winged-Horse Burak is associated with this Magical Tree... and now let's go to India...
The best narrative illustration of the powers of this most fantastic Jewel can be found in "The Jatakas"... in the Vidhura Pandita Jataka...
#545 Vol.VI , book XII, p.127 to 156.... or in your language, if you prefer, may be translated as " Stories of the Buddha's Former Births", translated by H.T.Francis, Cambridge and by various hands, under the editiorship of Professor E.B.Caldwell, published in 1973, by the Pali Text Society, London, with the collaboration by the UNESCO Collection of Representative Works... just to know where it comes from... and beginning by a dream, goes something like this...
"Now on that very day on morning-tide (I love those Indian words) the King saw a dream, and this is what he saw. At the door of the King's palace there stood a Great Tree... whose trunk was Wisdom, and whose branches and boughs were like Virtues, and its fruits the five sacred products of the Holy Cow, and it was covered with Elephants and Horses richly caparisoned; and a great multitude with folded hands were worshipping it with all reverence.
Then a man, clothed in red cloth, and wearing hearings of red flowers, and bearing weapons in his hand, came up and cut the tree down by the roots in spite of the expostulations of the multitude, and dragged it off and went away, and then came back and planted it again in its old place and departed.
Then the King as he comprehended the dream said to himself, "The sage Vidhura and no one else is like the Great Tree; that youth and no other, who carried off the sage, is like the man who cut the tree down by the roots in spite of the expostulations of the multitude; and verily he will come back and set him at the door of the Hall of Truth and depart. We shall behold the Seer again today."
So he joyfully ordered the whole city to be decorated and the Hall of Truth to be got ready and a pulpit in a pavilion adorned with jewels; and himself surrounded by a hundred kings, with their counselors, and a multitude of citizens and country people, he consoled them all by saying, " Fear not, you will see the Sage again to-day", and he seated himself in the Hall of Truth, looking for the Sage's return."
In this very long but very good story of one of the lives of Buddha, the Buddha tells about his life as Vidhura when he soared in the Air with the Winged-Horse... to obtain the Fabulous Jewel... which would allow him to obtain the hand of a beautiful princess.
In the story, Vidhura is a poor guy, and in order to receive some respect from the King... he decides to use the name of a previous incarnation... Punnakha... who himself had also flown on the Winged-Horse and had obtained the Jewel of the Universal Monarch. ... all in perspective that the Buddha, that we know, also flew on the Winged-Horse.
But, being poor, he also decides to challenge the King to play a gambling game... in which he will bet his own Winged-Horse which is the most fantastic Jewel of the World.
"Punnaka, having mounted his horse, a charger fit for bearing the gods, himself richly adorned... went through the Sky!" (132)... actually it looks as if Punnaka obtained his "charger with ears of gold and hooves of ruby, and mail-armour of molten gold" from Varuna ( the other one which flew on the Winged-Horse!) ... and goes to see Kuvera... (the Horse-Headed God).... before going to get that glorious Jewel of the Universal Monarch.
"Now there is a precious jewel of price belonging to the Universal Monarch, in the Vepulla Mountain ...."
" When he saw the glorious precious gem thus flashing light, gleaming so splendidly with its beauty, shining like lightning in the sky,- he at once seized the precious lapis lazuli, the jewel of priceless value, and mounted on his peerless steed, himself of noble beauty, he rushed through the space in the Sky!" (134)
And then he went to the King and presented himself to him under the name of a previous life...and said that he was Punnaka... and offered the King to gamble for the Jewel of the Universal Monarch.
"This is a fascinating jewel of mine, it is a glorious jewel which brings wealth:
and the gamester who conquers me shall win this peerless steed which
plagues all enemies."
When the King heard him, he replied:
"What will one Jewel do, O Youth? and what will one thoroughbred avail? Many precious jewels belong to a King, and many peerless steeds swift like the wind."
When he heard the King's speech, he said, "O King, why dost thou say this? There is one Horse, and there are also a thousand and a hundred thousand horses ; there is one Jewel, and there are also a thousand jewels; but all the horses put together are not equal to this one, see what its swiftness is."
So saying, he mounted the Horse and galloped it along the top of a wall, and the city wall seven leagues in length was as it were surrounded by horses striking neck against neck, and in the course of time neither horse nor Yakkha (Ghost-Rider) could be distinguished, and a single strip of red cloth tied on his belly seemed to be spread out all round the wall.
Then he alighted from the Horse, and, telling him that he had now seen the Steed's Swiftness, he bade him mark something new : and lo he made the Horse gallop within the city garden on the surface of the water, and he leapt without wetting his hoofs; then he made him walk on the leaves of the lotus beds, and when he clapped his hand and stretched out his arm the Horse came and stood upon the palm of his hand. Then he said, "This is indeed a Jewel of a Horse!"
"It is indeed, O Youth!"
"Well, let the Jewel of the Horse be put on side for a while, - see now the Power of the Precious Jewel."
"O Greatest of Men, behold this peerless Jewel of Mine ; in it are the (spiritual) bodies of women and the bodies of men ; the bodies of beasts are in it and the bodies of birds, the Naga Kings and suppanas, - all are created in this Jewel."
"An Elephant Host, a Chariot Host, Horses, foot-soldiers, and banners, - behold this complete army created in the Jewel; elephant-riders, the king's body-guard, warriors fighting from chariots, warriors fighting from foot, and troops in battle array, - behold all created in this Jewel.
"See, on the slopes of the mountains, troops of various deer, lions, tigers, boars, bears, wolves, and hyenas; rhinoceroses, gayals, buffaloes, red deer, rurus, antelopes, wild boars, nimkas and hogs, spotted kadali-deer, cats, rabbits, all kinds of Hosts of Beasts, created in the Jewel.
(Please note that word Host means in this context...Angel or Spirit!)
"Rivers well situated, paved with golden sand, clear with flowing waters and filled with quantities of fishes; crocodiles, sea-monsters are here and porpoises and tortoises...
"Behold created in the Jewel all kinds of trees, filled with various birds, and a forest with its branches made of lapis lazuli.
" See various troops of birds in the roads under the gateways, geese, herons, peacocks, ruddy geese and ospreys; cuckoos, spotted birds...- birds of every sort behold gathered together and created in the jewel.
"See parks and forests, crags and mountains, pleasant to look at and full of strange monsters, - all created in the Jewel.
"Behold created in this Jewel a city furnished with solid foundations and with many gateways and walls, and with many pleasant spots where four roads meet. Pillars and trenches, bars and bolts, watch-towers and gates, - behold all created in the Jewel.
"See a marvelous city with grand walls, making the hair stand erect with wonder, pleasant with banners upraised, and with its sands all of gold, - see the hermitages divided in blocks, and the different houses and their yards, with streets and blind lanes between.
"Behold the drinking shops and taverns, the slaughter-houses and cooks, shops, and the harlots and wantons, created in the Jewel. The garland-weavers, the washermen, the astrologers, the cloth merchants, the gold workers, the jewellers - behold created in the Jewel.
"See drums and tambours, conchs and tambourines and all kinds of cymbals, created in the Jewel.
"Cymbals and lutes, dance and song well executed, musical instruments and gongs, behold all created in the Jewel.
"Jumpers and wrestlers too are here, and a sight of jugglers, and royal bards and barbers, behold created in the Jewel.
"Crowds are gathered here of men and women, see the seats tiers beyond tiers created in the Jewel.
"See the Sun and the Moon, shining on the four sides, as they go around Mount Sineru, - all created in the Jewel.
"See the Earth surrounded by the Sea, with water everywhere, and diversified with trees. See too lakes well distributed in the four corners, filled with quantities of birds and abounding with fishes with broad scales, - all created in the Jewel.
"See Sineru and Himavat and the miraculous sea and the four Guardians of the World - created in the Jewel.
"Indra's Gardens... and his palace Vejajanta, - behold all created in the ."Indra's Palace Sudhamma (Sidharma... Spirit of the Sidh)... the Heaven of the Thirty-Three (Buddhas), the Heavenly Tree Pariochatta in full flower, and Indra's Elephant Airavata, behold created in the Jewel.
"See here the maidens of the gods risen like lightning in the air, and wandering about in the Nandana, - all created in the Jewel.
"See the heavenly maidens bewitching the sons of heaven, and the sons of heaven wandering about, all created in the Jewel.
"Behold more than a thousand palaces covered with Lapis Lazuli, all created with brilliant colors in the Jewel.
"And the beings of the Tavatimsa Heaven and the Yama heaven and the Tusita heaven, and those of the Paranimmita heaven all created in the Jewel.
"See here pure lakes with transparent water (amrita) covered with heavenly coral trees and lotuses and water-lilies.
"O King, best of Men, look at this bright flame like Jewel, perfect in all parts, - this the destined reward for him who wins."
And Vidhura spoke the truth to the King.... and the text is much longer... and finally at the end Vidhura wins everything even the Kingship among all Kings.
And the real Punnaka, gave a signal to the Horse who was endowed with reason, and he forthwith bounded into the sky, carrying the Seer.
"The Prince of Horses bearing Vidhura went up into the sky and soon reached the Kalagiri (Black Mountain) without coming into contact with the boughs of trees or the rocks."
Anyways, the Story is too long... but finally at the end they say that ...
"Abiding his teachings, and following their King all the inhabitants of the Kuru Kingdom gave gifts and performed good works and at the end of their lives went to swell the hosts of Heaven!"

Anyways, here is a dream of Nanette to illustrate the Up Rooting of the Tree of Life...
I was with Victor (Eric Braeden/Y&R...an actor) and his friend Douglas. We were at Victor's property where he was going to build a ranch. We were standing there (I don't recall a house, but we were looking out a window) when suddenly, out of nowhere, a storm started brewing. The skies were black. It was going to be a bad one. I wondered if we should even bother putting our cars in the garage, thinking they'd probably get damaged there as well. Directly in front of us stood a tree. It was of medium height (25-30 feet), had a trunk 4 feet in diameter and had millions of leaves which were small and waxy. Suddenly, out of the right side of the leaves there appeared a small, dimpled looking, beluga whale. The whale looked to be struggling to escape the leaves and branches; feet first, if you will.
It finally broke free, but was then sucked immediately back in. Next, all of the leaves began turning color; green to black to white, finally turning into doves (but not flying away, staying in the tree). Next the doves turned into twelve ghosts (like Casper, The Friendly Ghost). All you can see are their heads poking through the leaves. I stood there in awe at what had transpired; my mind trying to comprehend all I had seen. In the blink of an eye, the storm had passed. The tree before us now forever broken. The trunk had been snapped completely off and was now shattered and splintered on each end. But the amazing thing was that the treetops were still in tact, hanging ominously above the tree stump, while the trunk itself was levitating sideways between the treetop and the stump. The kinetic energy surrounding us from the storm was remarkable. I grabbed my journal to write everything down that had happened. Over my shoulder, Victor began reading some of my previous entries (personal comments, quotes I'd made up and observations). One in particular, and my favorite, caught his eye. He read it out loud. I said to him, "You know, I felt like I had been touched by the hand of God when I wrote that. It was the most amazing feeling." I felt a buzzing feeling within my body. My blood flowed through me like electricity. I took my journal and sat down to write what we had all witnessed. My mind is racing, my hand can't process my thoughts fast enough. As I write, I suddenly realize that I'm sitting there topless (half naked), but I don't care. I'm wearing a brand new pair of jeans, the tag hanging off one of those plastic strings that are so annoying. I feel the coolness of the table as my bare breasts rub against it as I continue writing. I write faster and faster, not wanting to forget a single thing, my head nearly resting on the table by my hand. Victor watches me, mesmerized. I can feel myself get lightheaded, like I might pass out from the sheer exhiliration of it all. I feel my body start to tip over sideways, out of my chair. I find it increasingly hard to breathe. I take deeper and deeper breaths, reminding myself to breathe in and out. I wonder if Victor will catch me before I fall to the ground. (7/21/96) #446

Also, in Buddhism, we know that it's an attribute of we already covered that already... but once again, from "Buddhism and Lamaïsm of Tibet", pages 86-88.
"Godly Birth. The God is born at once "fully developed" within a halo of glory from a lotus flower.- the oriental symbol of immaterial birth and is provided with the special attributes of a God, viz, (1) a lotus-footstool, (2) splendid dress and ornaments, (3) goddess-companions (Apsaras, celestial nymphs- the "houris" awarded to heroes.), (4) a wish-granting Tree, which instantly yields any fruit or food wished for, and bends to the hand of the gatherer, its leaves yielding luscious food, its juice nectar, and its fruit jewels, (5) a wish-granting cow which yields any drink wished for, (6) self-sprung crops (usually painted as Indian corn or maize), ***** (7) in a golden stall...a jeweled Horse-of-foreknowledge which Pegasus-like carries his rider wherever wished, through-out the worlds of the past, present, and future,***** (8) a lake of perfumed nectar or ambrosia (Skt., Amrita) which is the elixir vitae and the source of the divine lustre. The cup-bearer is Dhanwantari, the Indian Ganymede. Shining is a peculiarly divine attribute, and the etymology of the word "divinity", is the root Div, "to shine", the parent of the Skt. Deva and Latin Deus."
You see, my Dreaming friends, the Tree in #4 and again the Pegasus Horse. They go together... because the Winged-Horse is the Guardian of this fabulous Tree.

In the Judeo-Christian Lore the Tree of Life is called the Tree of Knowledge...
Chapter 2
Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.
2 By the seventh day God had finished (or ceased- also in verse 3) the work that he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created.
When the Lord God made the earth and the heavens-5 and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground, 6 but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground-7 the Lord God formed the man (the Hebrew for man, Adam, may be related to the Hebrew for ground, adamah; it is also the name Adam) from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. 9 And the Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground-trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

I don't think that there is any need to tell the story of Adam and Eve with this Tree, and I think that this story has been totally distorted by the Priests of Christianity??? I'm not sure but it looks as if they made it totally the contrary of what it is supposed to be... and I think that was made to treat woman as inferior being... because God wants everybody to eat from the Tree of Life Eternal. Normal phallocratic Judeo-Christian Priests behavior. :)
However, the same tree reappears in a better context in the Book of Revelation... beginning with 2,7...
7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
... and then the Tree of Life to Heal the Nations reappears in chapter 22 from 22,2 to 22,14... but in the context of the New World wished by All...
21
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death of mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
5 He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11 It shone with the glory of God, sand its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13 There were tree gates on the east, three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three on the west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, it's gates and it's walls. 16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17 He measured its wall and it was 144 cubits thick, by man's measurement, which the angel was using. 18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 The fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. 221 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass.
22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.
24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, not will anyone who does what is shameful and deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.
22
1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing form the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
6 The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.
7 "Behold I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book."
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!"
10 Then he told me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near. 11 Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy."
12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he had done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 "Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.
17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the fee gift of the water of life.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take way from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon."
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people.
Amen.

Now, you can see why the stupid Priests did not dare to touch this one that much, although you have to change the stupid translation Lamb of God "Agnelus Dei" by Angel of God "Angelus Dei" if you wish to see what the Winged-Horse is doing there??
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take way from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon."
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Anyways, I hope for your own eternal sake that you'll be able to understand a little something here... after all, all the Holy Scriptures have been written for a good purpose...
"Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God? When the dead rise... they will be like the angels in heaven." (Words of Jesus in Mark 12, 24-25)
...and bear in mind...
7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
...and hope that some of you can understand that the Spirit is the Winged-Horse... as mentioned several places in the Bible and the Coran and so many other Holy Books.
"And I saw heaven open and behold a white horse, and he that sat upon him....is called the Word of God...amid flaming fire (thunder and lightning)... (Rev.19,11)
"The Lord(Christos) shall be revealed with his mighty angel in flaming fire." (2 Thessalonians 1,7-8)
"Glory be to Him, who carried his Servant by Night from the sacred temple of Mecca to the Temple that is more remote, whose precinct we have blessed, that we might show him of our signs, for He is the Hearer and the Seer" (Qur'an 17,1)
OK! That is not all that bad for a start, and feel free to eat from the Tree of Life if you believe in dreams...
"For the Days of the Lord are coming..... . And it shall come to pass afterward, saith God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
Even on my servants and handmaidens I will pour out, in those days, my Spirit; and they shall prophesy." (Joël 2.28-30 in the Old Testament and in the New Testament in Acts 2.16-18.)
"He who does not believe in the true dream does not believe in Allah nor in the Day of Reckoning!!" (Mohammed)
...and if you don't, no problem. :)
Thanks, does that shake your Tree? :)

THE LORDS OF KARMA
THE RAYS
compiled by Dee Finney
4-23-02 - DREAM - I was in an office where there was a large screen TV high up on the wall. It was showing a group of people who were deciding the fate of who was going to live or die. The camera was panning the faces of the people in the group. I knew all of them and my heart swelled with pride that I knew all of them and held them all in high regard. The meeting was very lively with a lot of gestures and smiling faces, so I had to assume the meeting went well though I couldn't hear what they were saying. Then the meeting was over and the camera showed the whole group crossing the street together. The center four of the group (two men and two women) wore voluminous robes such as one would see in a high court - but I took it to mean that they had PhDs or some high office like that - none of them was wearing black - their robes were purple and dark blue. Then three people on each side of the center four were wearing black suits like Rabbis or priests, and one person on each end was wearing regular clothing - so it appeared that they were lined up by rank to each side. There were 12 in all. *** After I woke up, I attempted to meditate to remember more details about the above dream - such as why they were deciding which people lived or died or the circumstances. I fell asleep: DREAM - I was in the same office, having slept overnight on a cot. It was 8:15 a.m. and the phone rang. It was 'the teacher' and I told him the dream so we could discuss it. While talking to 'the teacher' I was having a vision of encyclopedia pages that were scanning downward quickly. There were two columns on the pages. I could only pick out a word here and there. I saw 'ein sof' and that it appeared that I was looking at a computer screen close up with the AOL task bar at the top so I couldn't read the name of the encyclopedia I was looking at. The name was hidden. I asked 'the teacher' about the encyclopedia pages I was seeing and he said, "Yes! It's possible to transmit information across time and space like that." I said, "I mean, I AM receiving this information - it's right in front of me." As I said that, the page had words in the shape of the state of Texas in the center of the page between the two columns of print. I had been assuming he was sending it to me mentally, when he did not; he was only telling me that it was possible to do it. I had no way of knowing how I was receiving it, or where it was from. While I was talking to 'the teacher' a man dressed in a brown suit came into the office and asked for a copy of a letter. He said the letter was from 'the third day'. I was forced to hang up the phone quickly to try to help the man.. I had no clue which file cabinet a letter from the 'third day' would be in. There were thousands of file cabinets in this office building. Then the head secretary came in. She had worked in this office longer than I had and I hoped she could answer the man's question. She sat at her desk brushing her short dark hair like she had just got out of bed. So I started brushing my hair too because I had just woke up myself. So we were brushing our hair simultaneously and I was thinking how much she and I were alike. The boss came in then. His name was Ray. I didn't actually see his face - only that he was there next to me. He said to me, "You could dress more appropriately." I looked down at myself and saw that I was wearing my pink pajama top (actually a sweat-suit top) over my pink pajamas and I realized I was still dressed for bed, not for work. Instant guilt flooded through me and I knew I had to run home across the street and change clothes. It would only take 5 minutes. So I grabbed my multicolored coat-sweater (which I call my coat of many colors) and put it on over my pajamas and headed for the elevator. (I was actually dressed this way in bed) When the elevator door opened, there was a square piece of royal blue oriental rug laying on the elevator door track but the door closed and I went down in the elevator to go home. The elevator door opened and that same royal blue oriental carpet square was laying over the elevator door track. I was amazed by this. Then the elevator door closed and it dragged the carpet piece across the doorway and the elevator door jammed open. So I reached down and picked up the carpet piece which seemed more like a towel now and the elevator door opened again. I saw that the elevator itself was sunk down in the pit about a foot down and was full of garbage trash, so I assume I was now in the basement and woke up. xxx THE THIRD DAY: Genesis 1:9 - And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place and let dry ground appear." and it was so. 10 - God called the dry ground "land" and the gathered waters he called "seas". And God saw that it was good. 11 - The God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. 12 - The land produced vegetation plants bearing see according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 - And there was evening, and there was morning - the third day. The reference to the State of Texas, I believe is a remembrance that I learned my basic metaphysics lessons from there.
Also spelled Ain
Soph. This literally means without
end, or eternal. God as Ein-Sof is
completely inconceivable, impersonal, and without attributes. It's
usage is strikingly similar to the Hindu term, Brahman.
On 11-10-97, I had this brief dream: - DREAM - The Mythology web page should include "The Creation of the Tree of Life and the Tree of Water, The coming of Anu and EA, and the Gilgamesh story. We have since written about the Tree of Life on 112 different pages. A Personal Experience: THE SEPHIROTH - MUSIC FOR OUR EARS AND HEARTS 3-19-98 - While Joe was talking to me early this a.m. around 5 a.m., I experienced an intense desire to close my eyes. It WAS NOT out of boredom. :-) Joe was expressing his theories about the Sephiroth . The Tree of Life. He said that many people feel that the Sephiroth has to do with music. I said that was VERY interesting. I said that because when I closed my eyes, I was seeing a book and each 5 lines explained a section of the Sephiroth. As I watched, each word on each line became a circle and then each circle became a musical note. When I told Joe my vision, he asked if those notes could be played. I said, "Yes! They could be played. If they were played as I saw them, it would be like playing a musical scale or if seeing it electronically, it would look like a sine wave. After Joe left for work, I heard a telephone ring in my left ear. The phone had rung in my head only...not in the physical. I lay there quietly and I then heard 5 knocks. Each knock brought one of those musical staff lines into view again. On the top appeared a brilliant green sign that read, "Happy Cheers Day" Then I began to see the lines of the staff below it fill in. On the next line, it read, "THE GAME OF LIFE" and below that: "How to get through life without dying". Below that was a line of music. The top four lines became musical notes easily played. I waited for the lower line to fill in and it never did. It remained blank. Note: I seems to me that one should not play those notes which lie on the lower spaces if one wants to live without dying. I'm thinking that those lower notes would represent such low tones as "fear" and "anger'. What do you think? Love, Light, and Joy Dee

KABBALISTIC VIEW |
Ein Sof The term Ein Sof is sometimes taken in Kabbalah to refer to God's very essence. When more precisely used, Ein Sof refers to God's infinite light, before the beginning of the creative process. Ein Sof = 207 = Or ("light"). Were Ein Sof -- literally "no end" -- meant to refer to the essence of God, it would be more appropriate to call God Ein Techila -- "no beginning" ("no end" implies a "beginning" which precedes it, but nothing precedes God). The infinite light which emanates from God's very essence does in fact possess a beginning (God's essence) but does not possess an end. Even more precisely, Chassidut teaches (in the name of the Maggid of Mezritch) that Ein Sof refers to the infinite light generated by themalchut of Echad. The thought and desire of Ana Emloch resulted, spontaneously, in a "surge" of infinite energy and light to enact the creative process (just as the heart of a mortal king becomes full of "infinite" energy and light to materialize his will to rule). The relation between Ein Sof and the power of malchut is indicated by the fact that Ein Sof = Adon Olam ("the Master of the universe"; Ein= 61 = Adon, Sof = 146 = Olam). In the beginning of our daily prayers we praise God as: "The Master of the universe [Adon Olam] who ruled before any being was created." The surge of infinite energy and light, Ein Sof, is referred to in the Zohar as the Tehiru Ela'ah, the "higher brilliance" (in contrast to the Tehiru Tata'ah, the "lower brilliance," which appears after the initial contraction of God's infinite light).
HINDU VIEW |
KabbalahThe oral tradition of Kabbalah states that the reason for existence is that God wished to behold God. (This is also similiar to the Hindu theology of the (Dance of Shiva) God can be visualized symbolically as follows. AIN SOF OHR, (also spelled EIN SOF OHR) the Endless Light which surrounds the void, emanated spheres or realms of light (effulgent and infinite bright). This, Kav or expansion of Divine Will, manifested in ten distinct stages of Emanation. The world was called into being by ten Divine Utterances. Scientists have now defined our Universe as 10 dimensional with 4 space-time dimensions and 6 dimensions curled away infinitley small. This is known as the 10 dimension solution in the super-string theory. These ten stages are known in the Kabbalah as the Sefirot. Sefirot express Divine Attributes, which from the primal moment of Emanation are lawfully held in a set of relationships until God wills them to vanish back into the Void of nothingness again. (This is almost identical to the the Hindu concept of the out cycle of the expansion God's glory and in cycle of withdrawing God's Glory, each expansion and contraction lasting Eons and Eons.) Also, EIN SOF is the part of God, Budhhist call Nirvana. Buddhist don't recognize the personal God because their meditative practice is to help them achieve union with Nirvana just as Buddha did (also called in Buddhist theology, the Void or Bliss). AIN SOF is a Kabbalistic term meaning "Without End." In Kabbalah, Hashem (God) the Transcendent, is called AIN. AIN means in Hebrew "No Thing", for Hashem is beyond existence. AIN is neither below nor above; nor is it in movement or stillness. There is nowhere AIN is. Hashem is Absolute Nothing. AIN SOF is the title of God who is everywhere. AIN SOF is the One to the Zero of AIN. This is the totality of what is and is not. AIN SOF is God the Immanent, the Absolute ALL. AIN SOF has no Attributes, because attributes can only be manifest within finite (limited, bounded) existence realms and AIN SOF is (Infinite, Unbounded, Limitless) and Transcendant. From this endless unfathomable EIN SOF GODSOURCE emanates 10 realms of existence, each less glorious than the former, until we get to the last realm, which is the realm our universe is in. At this level God manifests personality and is knowable with attributes. Another way to say it is, The Serifot are ten creative energy realms that intervene between the infinite, unknowable God ("Ein Sof") and our created finite world.

From: http://www.wisdomworld.org/additional/ListOfCollatedArticles/TheKabbalah-Part3of3.html THE KABBALISTIC Tree of Life is a picture or diagram of Creation cast in the image of a tree. As this is a visual rendering, an abstraction, let us continually remember the idea of analogy and correspondence. Hence, if the rendering be taken literally it will be meaningless. After all how does one explain the inexplicable? Whenever we endeavor to understand the "inexplicable" we find our only vehicle is through the use of symbolism. Symbols are the outermost face of archetypal forces, which emerge into our world as recognizable forms. A symbol, like a map, relates to the living ideas which animate them. They are not definitions or periods at the end of a sentence. We have a tendency, in our time and culture, to reduce symbols into signs. A sign serves as a code, a unit of information or data, which reduces ideas into a clearly recognizable something. We need only drive down the street to see the myriad of signs we confront daily. A symbol, on the other hand, is a starting point for the imagination. When speaking of the imagination, it is important to distinguish it from fantasies which are the production of the brain and based upon what we already know. Imagination, however, is the bridge between our self-awareness and our connection to archetypal energies. Through these energies we have the capacity to support, maintain and create our sense of self, our sense of time, along with an understanding of the universe in which we interact. Thinkers during the Renaissance, such as Robert Fludd and Johann Reichlin, etc. understood the value of the intellect when translating subjective experiences into objective communication. They viewed the intellect as a navigator and decision maker, but recognized the imagination as the true key for unlocking wisdom -- A wisdom which could only emerge as a living force without being reduced into a familiar code of laws. When reading H. P. Blavatsky's translation of The Stanzas of Dzyan, we can sense the vitality and power of this force. These Stanzas stimulate our imaginative faculties. They are poetry of a divine order, and are able to unlock knowledge from a deeper level in ourselves. These unaccustomed regions in our nature, when stirred, allow us to become aware of the Universal Design in an intimate way. In other words, knowledge becomes less of an abstraction and more of a reality. In order to appreciate what the Kabbalah means to convey, we must begin with a receptivity at this level. Thus we are enabled to move away from the logical or rational mind and into the very soul of our poetic nature. Kabbalah asks that we move beyond our own thinking and enter into a dialog between thought, reason and imagination -- to listen, to remember, to reawaken -- to let the wisdom that supports, maintains and informs our very cells and atoms to function in a way that is beyond everyday comprehension. We are the living product of an ancientness of Being and if we become open to listen, even momentarily, to this wisdom we may find that it is truly closer to us than the nose on our face. Moving into the symbolism and language employed by the Kabbalah, we will begin with the unknowable, the unutterable and unspeakable. This is known as the Absolute, the No-Thing which is symbolized by the outermost radiation above the Tree. The name given this radiation is Ain -- God the Transcendent. Ain is beyond existence, Ain is Absolute No Thing. Ain is not above or below, neither still nor in motion. There is no where Ain is, for Ain is not. Out of Ain emanates En Sof or the endless absolute ALL. God the transcendent becomes God the immanent. The last curve or radiation is Ain Sof Aur, the endless light of Will. The Kabbalists say that God willed to see God which caused the first contraction in the Absolute All or En Sof, making a place for the mirror of Existence. In this way The Endless light of Will or Ain Sof Aur radiated like a beam of light into the Void of unmanifested existence. It was the dimensionless point created after the contraction of the Absolute All. (Or the Point in the Center of the Circle.) This brought into focus three factors that made the Void: 1st was the Will of the Absolute 2nd Allowing it to occur 3rd Restriction to limit and contain it. These are known as the Three Hidden Splendors and the first of several sets of Major Laws which govern existence. These generated expansion and contraction and are called the Prime Crown or I AM, allowing existence to be. The Primal Crown or Sephira is the seed or one light from which all others emanate. Thus God willed the world into Being. The seed took root, grew downward into a trunk with branches and fruit Divine. The structure of The Tree of Life, then, is based on the emanations flowing down from the Crown into what is known as the lightning flash. So it is through emanation, creation, formation and action that our world is produced. Although the Kabbalistic Tree is portrayed as emanating up and down, in reality, it is meant to be thought of, or perhaps experienced, as moving from within to without. In other words, emanation comes from within as, from the nothingness at the heart of an atom outward into this world of seemingly stable objects, beings and forms. The following, from Stanza I of the Book of Dzyan, illustrate a means through which this "divine formula" may be transmitted:
The ancient teachings are given as tools to help us reawaken to the knowledge of our divine and celestial origins. They attempt to relate ideas of spiritual evolution and brotherhood in the deepest sense. Through self effort, hard work, study and question we can at least, like Socrates, try to ask questions of a penetrating nature. Edison said that invention is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration. If we diligently grapple with the universality and wisdom of the inner meaning presented by these teachings we will most often notice the perspiration but, when, in those fleeting moments, we experience inspiration -- a universe within and without opens in a way undreamed of in our wildest flight of fancy. And, let us ever keep in mind these wise words from the great hermetic philosopher, Robert Fludd: "TO BELIEVE IS TO REFLECT, TO KNOW IS TO PENETRATE." |
HELENA BLAVATSKY EXPLAINS IT BETTER THAN I CAN! [[Vol. 1, Page]] 213 THE CREATIVE POWERS.
FIRST, THE DIVINE (vehicle) (b), THE ONE FROM THE MOTHER-SPIRIT (Atman);
THEN THE SPIRITUAL -- (Atma-Buddhi, Spirit-soul)* (c); (again) THE THREE
FROM THE ONE (d), THE FOUR FROM THE ONE (e), AND THE FIVE (f), FROM
WHICH THE THREE, THE FIVE AND THE SEVEN (g) -- THESE ARE THE THREE-FOLD
AND THE FOUR-FOLD DOWNWARD; THE "MIND-BORN SONS OF THE FIRST LORD
(Avalokiteswara) THE SHINING SEVEN (the "Builders").** IT IS THEY WHO
ARE THOU, ME, HIM, O LANOO; THEY WHO WATCH OVER THEE AND THY MOTHER,
BHUMI (the Earth).
(a) The hierarchy of Creative Powers is divided into seven (or 4 and 3)
esoteric, within the twelve great Orders, recorded in the twelve signs
of the Zodiac; the seven of the manifesting scale being connected,
moreover, with the Seven Planets. All this is subdivided into numberless
groups of divine Spiritual, semi-Spiritual, and ethereal Beings.
The Chief Hierarchies among these are hinted at in the great Quaternary,
or the "four bodies and the three faculties" of Brahma exoterically, and
the Panchasyam, the five Brahmas, or the five Dhyani-Buddhas in the
Buddhist system.
The highest group is composed of the divine Flames, so-called, also
spoken of as the "Fiery Lions" and the "Lions of Life," whose
esotericism is securely hidden in the Zodiacal sign of Leo. It is the
nucleole of the superior divine World. They are the formless Fiery
Breaths, identical in one aspect with the upper The same hierarchy, with the same numbers, is found in the Japanese system, in the "Beginnings" as taught by both the Shinto and the Buddhist sects. In this system, Anthropogenesis precedes Cosmogenesis, as the Divine merges into the human, and creates midway in its descent into matter -- the visible Universe. The legendary personages -- remarks reverentially Omoie -- "having to be understood as the stereotyped embodiment of the higher (secret) doctrine, and its sublime truths." To state it at full length, however, would occupy too much of our space, but a few words on this old system cannot be out of place.
The following is a short synopsis of this Anthropo-Cosmogenesis, and it
shows how closely the most separated notions echoed one and the same
Archaic teaching.
When all was as yet Chaos (Kon-ton) three spiritual Beings appeared on
the stage of future creation: (1) Ame no ani naka nushi no Kami, "Divine
Monarch of the Central Heaven"; (2) Taka mi onosubi no Kami, "Exalted,
imperial Divine offspring of Heaven and the Earth"; and (3) Kamu mi
musubi no Kami, "Offspring of the Gods," simply.
These were without form or substance (our arupa triad), as neither the
celestial nor the terrestrial substance had yet differentiated, "nor had
the essence of things been formed." In the Zohar -- which, as now arranged and re-edited by Moses de Leon, with the help of Syrian and Chaldean Christian Gnostics in the XIIth century, and corrected and revised still later by many Christian hands, is only a little less exoteric than the Bible itself -- this divine "Vehicle" no longer appears as it does in the "Chaldean Book of Numbers." True enough, Ain-Soph, the ABSOLUTE ENDLESS NO-THING, uses also the form of the ONE, the manifested "Heavenly man" (the FIRST CAUSE) as its chariot (Mercabah, in Hebrew; Vahan, in Sanskrit) or vehicle to descend into, and manifest through, in the phenomenal world. But the Kabalists neither make it plain how the ABSOLUTE can use anything, or exercise any attribute whatever, since, as the Absolute, it is devoid of attributes; nor do they explain that in reality it is the First Cause (Plato's Logos) the original and eternal IDEA, that manifests through Adam Kadmon, the Second Logos, so to speak.
In the "Book of Numbers" it is explained that EN (or Ain, Aior) is the
only self-existent, whereas its "Depth" (Bythos or Buthon of the
Gnostics, called Propator) is only periodical. The latter is Brahm as
differentiated from Brahma or Parabrahm. It is the Depth, the Source of
Light, or Propator, which is the unmanifested Logos or the abstract
Idea, and not Ain-Soph, whose ray
uses Adam-Kadmon or the manifested Logos (the objective Universe) "male
and female" -- as a chariot through which to manifest. But in the Zohar
we read the following incongruity: "Senior occultatus est et
absconditus; Microprosopus manifestus est, et non manifestus."
(Rosenroth; Liber Mysterii, IV., 1.) This is a fallacy, since
Microprosopus or the microcosm, can only exist during its
manifestations, and is destroyed during the Maha-Pralayas. Rosenroth's
Kabala is no guide, but very often a puzzle.
(b) As in the Japanese system, in the Egyptian, and every old cosmogony
-- at this divine FLAME, The "One," are lit the three descending groups.
Having their potential being in the higher group, they now become
distinct and separate Entities. These are called the "Virgins of Life,"
the "Great Illusion," etc., etc., and collectively the "Six-pointed
Star." The latter is the symbol, in almost every religion, of the Logos
as the first emanation. It is that of Vishnu in India (the Chakra, or
wheel), and the glyph of the Tetragrammaton, the "He of the four
letters" or -- metaphorically -- "the limbs of Microprosopos" in the
"The first after the 'One' is divine Fire; the second, Fire and AEther;
the third is composed of Fire, AEther and Water; the fourth of Fire,
AEther, Water, and Air."* The One is not concerned with Man-bearing
globes, but with the inner invisible Spheres. "The 'First-Born' are the
LIFE, the heart and pulse of the Universe; the Second are its MIND or
Consciousness,"
(c) The second Order of Celestial Beings, those of Fire and AEther
(corresponding to Spirit and Soul, or the Atma-Buddhi) whose names are
legion, are still formless, but more definitely "substantial." They are
the first differentiation in the Secondary Evolution or "Creation" -- a
misleading word. As the name shows, they are the prototypes of the
incarnating Jivas or Monads, and are composed of the Fiery Spirit of
Life. It is through these that passes, like a pure solar beam, the ray
which is furnished by them with its future vehicle, the Divine Soul,
Buddhi. These are directly concerned with the Hosts of the higher world
of our system. From these twofold Units emanate the threefold.
In the cosmogony of Japan, when, out of the chaotic mass, an egglike
nucleus appears, having within itself the germ and potency of all the
universal as well as of all terrestrial life, it is the "three-fold"
just named, which differentiates. "The male aethereal" (Yo)
principle ascends and the female grosser or more material
principle (In) is precipitated into the Universe of substance, when a
separation occurs between the celestial and the terrestrial. From this
the female, the mother, the first rudimentary objective being is born.
It is ethereal, without form or sex, and yet it is from this and the
mother that the Seven Divine Spirits are born, from whom will emanate
the seven creations, just as in the Codex Nazaraeus from Karabtanos and
the Mother Spiritus the seven evilly disposed (material) spirits are
born. It would be too long to give here the Japanese names, but once
translated they stand in this order: --
(1.) The "Invisible Celibate," which is the creative logos of the
noncreating "father," or the creative potentiality of the latter made
manifest.
(2.) "The Spirit (or the God) of the rayless depths" (of Chaos); which
becomes differentiated matter, or the world-stuff; also the mineral
realm.
(3.) "The Spirit of the Vegetable Kingdom," of the "Abundant
Vegetation."
(4.) This one is of dual nature, being at the same time "The Spirit of
the Earth" and "the Spirit of the Sands," the former containing the
potentiality of the male element, the latter that of the female element,
the two forming a combined nature.
These two were ONE; yet unconscious of being two.
In this duality were contained (a) the male, dark and muscular Being,
Isu no gai no Kami; and (b) Eku gai no Kami, the female, fair and weaker
or more delicate Being. Then, the: --
(5th and 6th.) Spirits who were androgynous or dual-sexed, and, finally:
--
(7.) The Seventh Spirit, the last emanated from the "mother," appears as
the first divine human form distinctly male and female. It was the
seventh creation, as in the Puranas, wherein man is the seventh creation
of Brahma.
These, Tsanagi-Tsanami, descended into the Universe by the celestial
Bridge (the milky way), and "Tsanagi, perceiving far below a chaotic
mass of cloud and water, thrust his jewelled spear into the depths, and
dry land appeared." Then the two separated to explore Onokoro, the
newly-created island-world; etc., etc. (Omoie).
Such are the Japanese exoteric fables, the rind that conceals the kernel
of the same one truth of the Secret Doctrine. Turning back to the
esoteric explanations in every cosmogony: --
(d) The Third order corresponds to the Atma-Buddhi-Manas: Spirit, Soul
and Intellect, and is called the "Triads."
(e) The Fourth are substantial Entities. This is the highest group among
the Rupas (Atomic Forms*). It is the nursery of the human, conscious,
spiritual Souls. They are called the "Imperishable Jivas," and
constitute, through the order below their own, the first group of the
first septenary** host -- the great mystery of human conscious and
intellectual Being. For the latter are the field wherein lies concealed
in its privation the germ that will fall into generation. That germ will
become the spiritual potency in the physical cell that guides the
development of the embryo, and which is the cause of the hereditary
transmission of faculties and all the inherent qualities in man. The
Darwinian theory, however, of the
transmission of acquired faculties, is neither taught nor accepted in
Occultism. Evolution, in it, proceeds on quite other lines; the
physical, according to esoteric teaching, evolving gradually from the
spiritual, mental, and psychic. This inner soul of the physical cell --
this "spiritual plasm" that dominates the germinal plasm -- is the key
that must open one day the gates of the terra incognita of the
Biologist, now called the dark mystery of Embryology.
(f) The Fifth group is a very mysterious one, as it is connected with
the Microcosmic Pentagon, the five-pointed star representing man. In
India and Egypt these Dhyanis were connected with the Crocodile, and
their abode is in Capricornus. These are convertible terms in Indian
astrology, as this (tenth) sign of the Zodiac is called Makara, loosely
translated "crocodile." The word itself is occultly interpreted in
various ways, as will be shown further on. In Egypt the defunct man --
whose symbol is the pentagram or the five-pointed star, the points of
which represent the limbs of a man -- was shown emblematically
transformed into a crocodile: Sebakh or Sevekh "or seventh," as Mr.
Gerald Massey says, showing it as
having been the type of intelligence, is a dragon in reality, not a
crocodile. He is the "Dragon of Wisdom" or Manas, the "Human Soul,"
Mind, the Intelligent principle, called in our esoteric philosophy the
"Fifth" principle.
Says the defunct "Osirified" in ch. lxxxviii., "Book of the Dead," or
the Ritual, under the glyph of a mummiform god with a crocodile's head:
--
(1) "I am the god (crocodile) presiding at the fear . . . at the arrival
of his Soul among men. I am the god-crocodile brought for destruction"
(an allusion to the destruction of divine spiritual purity when man
acquires the knowledge of good and evil; also to the "fallen" gods, or
angels of every theogony).
(2) "I am the fish of the great Horus (as Mankara is the "crocodile,"
the vehicle of Varuna). I am merged in Sekten."
This last sentence gives the corroboration of, and repeats the doctrine
of, esoteric Buddhism, for it alludes directly to the fifth principle
(Manas), or the most spiritual part of its essence rather, which merges
into, is absorbed by, and made one with Atma-Buddhi after the death of
man. For Se-khen is the residence or loka of the god Khem (Horus-Osiris,
or Father and Son), hence the "Devachan" of Atma-Buddhi. In the Ritual
of the Dead the defunct is shown entering into Sekhem with Horus-Thot
and "emerging from it as pure spirit" (lxiv., 29). Thus the defunct says
(v. 130): "I see the forms of (myself, as various) men
And in verse 35, addressing in magic formula that which is called, in
Egyptian esotericism, the "ancestral heart," or the re-incarnating
principle, the permanent EGO, the defunct says: --
"Oh my heart, my ancestral heart necessary for my transformations, . . .
. . . do not separate thyself from me before the guardian of the Scales.
Thou art my personality within my breast, divine companion watching over
my fleshes (bodies). . . . . .."
It is in Sekhem that lies concealed "the Mysterious Face," or the real
man concealed under the false personality, the triple-crocodile of
Egypt, the symbol of the higher Trinity or human Triad, Atma, Buddhi and
Manas.* In all the ancient papyri the crocodile is called Sebek
(Seventh), while the water is the fifth principle esoterically; and, as
already stated, Mr. Gerald Massey shows that the crocodile was "the
Seventh Soul, the supreme one of seven -- the Seer unseen." Even
exoterically Sekhem is the residence of the god Khem, and Khem is Horus
avenging the death of his father Osiris, hence punishing the Sins of man
when he becomes a disembodied Soul. Thus the defunct "Osirified" became
the god Khem, who "gleans the field of Aanroo," i.e., he gleans either
his reward or punishment, as that field is the celestial locality
(Devachan) where the defunct is given wheat, the food of divine justice.
The fifth group of the celestial Beings is supposed to contain in itself
the dual attributes of both the spiritual and physical aspects of the
Universe; the two poles, so to say, of Mahat the Universal Intelligence,
and the dual nature of man, the spiritual and the physical. Hence its
number Five, multiplied and made into ten, connecting it with Makara,
the 10th sign of Zodiac.
(g) The sixth and seventh groups partake of the lower qualities of the
Quaternary. They are conscious, ethereal Entities, as invisible as
Ether, which are shot out like the boughs of a tree from the first
central group of the four, and shoot out in their turn numberless side
groups, the lower of which are the Nature-Spirits, or Elementals of
countless kinds and varieties; from the formless and unsubstantial --
the ideal THOUGHTS of their creators -- down to the Atomic, though, to
human perception, invisible organisms. The latter are considered as the
"Spirits of Atoms" for they are the first remove (backwards) from the
physical Atom -- sentient, if not intelligent creatures. They are all
subject to Karma, and have to work it out through every cycle. For, as
the doctrine teaches, there are no such privileged beings in the
universe, whether in our or in other systems, in the outer or the inner
worlds,* as the angels of the Western Religion and the Judean. A Dhyan
Chohan has to become one; he cannot be born or appear suddenly on the
plane of life as a full-blown angel. The Celestial Hierarchy of the
present Manvantara will find itself transferred in the next cycle of
life into higher, superior worlds, and will make room for a new
hierarchy, composed of the elect ones of our mankind. Being is an
endless cycle within the one absolute eternity, wherein move numberless
inner cycles finite and conditioned. Gods, created as such, would evince
no personal merit in being gods. Such a class of beings, perfect only by
virtue of the special immaculate nature inherent in them, in the face of
suffering and struggling humanity, and even of the lower creation, would
be the symbol of an eternal injustice quite Satanic in character, an
ever present crime. It is an anomaly and an impossibility in Nature.
Therefore the "Four" and the "Three" have to incarnate as all other
beings have. This sixth group, moreover, remains almost inseparable from
man, who draws from it all but his highest and lowest principles, or his
spirit and body, the five middle human principles being the very essence
of those Dhyanis.* Alone, the Divine Ray (the Atman) proceeds directly
from the One. When asked how that can be? How is it possible to conceive
that those "gods," or angels, can be at the same
2. THE ONE RAY MULTIPLIES THE SMALLER RAYS. LIFE PRECEDES FORM, AND LIFE
SURVIVES THE LAST ATOM (of Form, Sthula-sarira, external body). THROUGH
THE COUNTLESS RAYS THE LIFE-RAY, THE ONE, LIKE A THREAD THROUGH MANY
BEADS (pearls) (a).
(a) This sloka expresses the conception -- a purely Vedantic one, as
already explained elsewhere -- of a life-thread, Sutratma, running
through successive generations. How, then, can this be explained? By
resorting to a simile, to a familiar illustration, though necessarily
imperfect, as all our available analogies must be. Before resorting to
it, however, I would ask whether it seems unnatural, least of all
"supernatural," to any one of us, when we consider that process known as
the growth and development of a foetus into a healthy baby weighing
several pounds evolves from what? From the segmentation of an (3) WHEN THE ONE BECOMES TWO -- THE "THREE-FOLD" APPEARS (a). THE
THREE ARE (linked into) ONE; AND IT IS OUR THREAD, O LANOO, THE HEART OF
THE MAN-PLANT, CALLED SAPTAPARNA (b). |
THE SEVEN RAYS Ray One - Will, purpose, power, destruction From: Alice Bailey and Djwal Kihl As part of the initial Plan, the one Life sought expansion, and the
seven aeons or emanations came forth from the central vortex and
actively repeated the earlier process in all its details. They too came
into manifestation and in the work of expressing active life, qualified
by love and limited by an outward phenomenal appearance, they swept into
a secondary activity and became the seven Builders, the 1. The Lord of Power or Will. This Life wills to love, and uses power
as an expression of divine beneficence. For His body of manifestation He
uses that planet for which the sun is regarded as the esoteric
substitute. 4. The Lord of Harmony, Beauty and Art. The main function of this
Being is the creation of Beauty (as an expression of truth) through the
free interplay of life and form, basing the design of beauty upon the
initial plan as it exists in the mind of the solar Logos. The body of
manifestation of this life is not revealed, but the activity emanating
from it produces that combination of sounds, colors and word music that
expresses - through the form of the ideal - that which is the
originating idea. This fourth Lord of creative expression 6. The Lord of Devotion and Idealism. This solar Deity is a peculiar
and characteristic expression of the quality of the solar Logos. Forget
not that in the great scheme of the universal universe (not just our
universe) our solar Logos is as differentiated and distinctive in
quality as are any of the sons of men. This ray force, with the second
ray, is a true and vital expression of the divine nature. A militant
focusing upon the ideal, a one-pointed devotion to the intent of the
life urge, and a divine sincerity are the qualities of this Lord, and
set their impress upon all that is found within His body of
manifestation. Advanced esotericists debate as to whether Mars is, or is
not, the planet through which He manifests. You must remember that only
a few of the planets are the bodies of expression of the Lords of the
rays. There are ten "planets of expression" (to use the term employed by
the ancient Rishis), and only seven ray Lives are 7. . The Lord of Ceremonial Order or Magic is now coming into power
and is slowly but surely making His pressure felt. His influence is most
potent upon the physical plane, for there is a close numerical |
THE LORDS OF KARMA The 'Lords of Karma' are given as a term that you may realize those
laws or rules that you would apply in judging In the East, broadly speaking, people do believe in reincarnation
and, correctly, in relation to the Law of Karma. Unfortunately, even in
the East, the Law of Karma is seen from an erroneous point of view.
There is a correct interpretation and approach to the idea of rebirth,
and its close connection with the Law of Action and Reaction, Cause and
Effect. The Westerner tends to reject the idea of a future life, mostly because of the way the Bible has been edited and translated erroneously over the last two milleniums. It is an idea which is only just beginning to be entertained by people's minds. Most people who come to believe in reincarnation are interested in knowing who they were in their pat lives. The popular literature in the West about reincarnation is almost exclusively about previous existences. Is it of value to know our past lives? At a certain point it can be helpful. But until one is ready for knowing that information, not only is it not of major value, it can actually be dangerous. There is a little-known law that when we become truly aware of a particular past life we enter into the karma of that time. Most of us have enough to do with dealing with our current lives, than to bring the full load of karma from a previous life into it. Knowing the details of a past life is not a game to play for fun. It brings great responsibility with it. The whole subject is fraught with danger and complexity. When our
past lives by themselves into our consciousness, they will do so under
law. It is more important to know that every moment we are alive, we are
making karma for our future - we are creating our karma and our next
life right now. It's much more important to be the best person you can be in this lifetime in order not to rack up bad karma, and in fact, the way life is going now, karma is tending to be returned to everyone, sometimes within minutes, and not centuries like it used to. So, you will want to earn good karma, and not the bad kind - remember - it's always 'cause and effect' and if the cause is negative so will the effect. Certain religious people believe that if they are poor, hungry,
miserable, indebted to the landlord, with hardly enough to feed their
family, that they must have been someone really terrible before. They
believe it is the Law of Karma because they were so bad, nasty,
horrible, such low-grade human beings in their past life, they deserve
the misery they are in now. They believe that; it is the teaching. And
they believe, because it is the Law of Karma, that there is nothing they
can do about it. They accept it totally, fatalistically, as their due
according to the law. And they also believe that if they accept their
lot meekly and try to be good they will be rewarded with a life of
higher status next time around. If there is anything which has kept the
Orient down, in terms of its living standards, its social happiness,
social democracy and equality, it is the acceptance of the Law of Karma
on that basis.
Lords of Karma I know that sounds like a very cold and calculated way to live, but
once you are spiritually awakened, there is a good reason to do this. |
