TOPIC:  WAR - MESSAGE FROM GOD AND THE SHEMITAH

NOTE:  THIS IS THE TRANSCRIPT FROM THE JIM BAKKER SHOW THAT AIRED ON 8-7-14 WITH RABBI JONATHAN CAHN WHO IS COMING OUT WITH A BOOK ABOUT 'THE MYSTERY OF THE SHEMITAH'.  IF THERE WAS EVER A MAN WORTHY OF PAYING ATTENTION TO, HE WOULD BE THE ONE.  PREVIOUSLY HE WROTE THE BOOK 'THEY HARBINGER' WHICH HAS BEEN ON THE BEST SELLER LIST FOR TWO YEARS.  THESE ARE 'MUST READ' BOOKS.

THE FOLLOWING IS MY ATTEMPT TO PRESENT A TRANSCRIPT OF THE SHOW AS GIVEN (WITHOUT THE COMMERCIALS)

BAKKER:  We've been talking about the Psalms 83 war but we don't know when.  The Rabbi said a great shaking was coming to America.

RABBI CAHN:  The enemy has tried to destroy the Jewish people for over 4,000 years. 

The names keep changing.  HAMAS, Saddam Hussein, Joseph Stalin, Hitler ... it's not based on 'them', it is a fallen angelic being who is trying to wipe them out that Israel is dealing with.

He knows what is coming:

PSALMS 55:11  Destructive forces are at work in the city, threats and lies never leaves it's streets.

The word in the Bible, in Hebrew, which means destruction or violence is HAMAS.

In Arabic, it means "fanaticism, zeal, violence, cruelty, hatred, destruction.

It means damage, cruelty, oppression, unrighteousness, wrong doing, falsehood, to act violently.

PSALMS 74:20  Have respect to the covenant, for the dark places of the earth are full of the dwelling places of cruelty (HAMAS)

2 SAMUEL 22:3  You save me from violence (HAMAS)

PSALMS 11:5  But the wicked and he who does violence (HAMAS) His soul hates.

ISIAAH 5:9  Because he has done no violence (HAMAS) nor was any deceit in his mouth.

EZEKIEL 7:11  Violence (HAMAS) has risen up into a rod of wickedness, none of them shall remain...

EZEKIEL 7:23  For the land is filled with crimes of blood, and the city is full of violence (HAMAS)

OBADIAH 1:10  For violence (HAMAS) against your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever.

ISAIAH 60:18 For violence (HAMAS)  shall no more be heard in your land, nor wasting or destruction within your borders.

While watching the Jim Bakker TV show, I got so tired I couldn't keep my eyes open, so I closed my eyes and someone yelled  "WAR WAR" into my left ear.  I fell asleep and was in a living room with my daughter-in-law Sabrina.  I told her I needed some long pants to put on because it was the fall of the year and it was getting chilly out.  So, I went to the closet and found no long pants hanging on the hangars.  I told Sabrina that I had forgotten that in the spring when it got hot out, I had cut off all my long pants to make shorts for myself.

I then went over to a large dark brown wooden dresser in the middle of the room and saw that it was shaking violently.  I opened the bottom drawer and saw that it was full of big fat brown rabbits and a voice said in my ear   "DIE  DIE"  and I watched the fattest rabbit in the left corner and stared at his eyes and they slowly, slowly started closing and when they closed all the way I woke up.

At 2:10 p..m. someone yelled "HEY" really loud in my left ear.  I actually thought it came from the back door and someone was calling for assistance from the yard, as one of the young men had been working out there.  I even got Joe and sent him outside to make sure the young man was all right, and there was no one out there at all.

at 3:15 p.m. the phone rang and the TV screen it said, NO NAME and 000-000-000.

A few minutes later, I remembered I had this dream some years ago:

11-17-97 - DREAM - I was inside my house and I went to the first door on which hung my personal symbol on a string. It was two triangles, points facing left, intertwined with a candle standing up on the lower edge and going up through them.

They were hanging on an 18" string which made them too low to see properly.  

I looked into a mirror then to see my face. It was cartoonish and clownish. The face was too low to see my mouth.

I then went out to get into my car. It was black. At first I was not driving it. I sat in the back seat and a man drove it. After going a ways, I wanted to turn right, but there was a high wall on the right and we couldn't see that way.  Cross traffic from that direction was coming from that way too fast to make the turn safely.  

We stopped at that point and I saw some things on the highway next to the car which belonged to me that had fallen out the last time I had been through this way.. I asked the driver to pick up the window wiper which actually looked like a shoe horn. There were three other little black boxes but I didn't ask for those.

We went a couple more blocks straight ahead and I again asked to turn right. When we did, we had to go over some huge rocks. At that point I had to get out of the car and there was an old-old man there calling his hotel for messages. He told the operator his phone number was 000-000-0000.  When the operator answered, he had to give his password. It was 377-7777.  He explained to the other two men with him, "I could never remember my phone number when I traveled so they gave me this number instead.

I decided to continue driving at this point, but I was outside the car - alone. The driver had stayed behind with the old-old man and his companions.

The car, as it went farther along, got farther and farther away from me. I found that i was also at a fixed point with the old-old man.  I had to drive with one finger on the wheel tracking some red stuff that looked like fish food flakes.

My driving got more and more erratic as the car got farther away from me. I made a couple really bad left turns across traffic which I had to correct quickly.  Finally, I lost control completely.  The car turned right and I lost sight of it. It had gone too far right to see from my perspective o the corner with the old-old man.

I woke up and could only remember the dream if I faced right, the way I had been sleeping.  If I rolled over, face up or left, the dream was instantly gone out of my head. When I rolled back to the right, it came back in clearly. I experimented with that three times.  I was astonished at the experience.

BACK TO THE SHOW

BAKKER  I quake and shake when I hear the word.  We are there.  We are in the final days.

Church!  You have to study the word.

Church!  If you are going to a "happy" church and you're not studying the word of God, and you are only hearing preaching about how to get more money, the money is going to be gone.

All the people today who I trust are saying, there is going to be a crash in America like you've never seen.

NOTE: The show went to a commercial break showing great destruction in America and Jim Bakker is saying that when things get bad, FOOD, is going to be the greatest commodity.

 

RABBI:  We are in a time of warning and judgment right now.

2012 was the tipping point.  When you reach a tipping point, then things accelerate.

ISAIAH 5:20  Woe to those that call evil good, and good evil, that put darkness for light and light for darkness.

It goes together, every time you call something good - evil or call something evil - good and silencing believers.

We are watching the beginning of persecutions in this land.  Where believers are made to be villains, and even the government is trying to get believers to fund abortion, which has never happened before.

And to partake in what is immoral or be punished.

There is a new executive order that just came out that if you have a nonprofit and you don't support homosexuality, they will cut themselves off from you.  This is major stuff.

At the same time, signs of judgment are increasing, just as in Israel's last days.

The signs of the Harbinger never stops.  These are all converging.

Even when you look at what Pastor Mark Biltz has said about the Blood Moons.  In a year and a half period, most of that is the Shemitah

(starts on September 25, 2014)

Once we get into September, its all together.  It's all happening at the same time.

It's all going to culminate at the peak of the Shemitah.

This is a dangerous time.  If you look at 2001 and 2008 and now, it has accelerated.  It's happening more exact, more precise.  It's happening - this is the sign that the judgment is getting closer.

 

BAKKER:  What has me more concerned is that people are predicting another Jewish holocaust.  They are literally saying we are on the verge of another holocaust.

In England and France, they are marching in the streets.

 

ZACK:  I was reading a news article recently where it said, "Its the new fad - a cool thing to be - anti-Israel."

 

BAKKER:  In France, they are marching by the thousands.  In England, guess who is marching...

 

RABBI:  There are Muslims and activists in there.

 

BAKKER:  There are not just run of the mill people.  These are anti-Jewish people.

 

ZACK  (He reads an article of news)

MORAL CLARITY IN GAZA

"Here's the difference between us," explains the Israeli prime minister.  "We're using missile defence to protect our civilians and they're using their civilians to protect their missiles."


BAKKER: And we are so misguided, even in our country, the man who is supposed to represent our values is rewriting history.

There is an article right here in front of me:  This is Obama who says:

OBAMA MUSLLIMS

On Sunday, President Obama and First Lady Michelle released a statement thanking Muslim Americans for their many “achievements and contributions… to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy.”

The comments were made to mark the celebration of Eid-al-Fitr, a time of spiritual renewal for Muslims which comes at the end of the month-long fast of Ramadan. The Obamas said in their statement that Eid “celebrates the common values that unite us in our humanity” and “welcomed their commitment to giving back to their communities.” The International Business Times reports that during Eid, Muslims join in Islamic prayer, while saying "Allahu Akbar," or "God is Great," and feasting.

The statement further reads that the administration “wishes Muslims in the United States and around the world a blessed and joyous celebration.” The letter ended with salutation of “Eid Mubarak,” which roughly means “blessed celebration.”

 

ZACK:   Our President is trying to rewrite history.  He's trying to guide it.  This is like the Rabbi said:

ISAIAH 5:20  Woe unto those there that call evil - good and good -evil, that put darkness for light and light for darkness.

 

BAKKER:  We were talking about the Psalms 83 war.  John Shorey believes that when the other nations join in with Israel, that has to be one of the signs of the Psalms 83 war.

 

Iran General: We Will Hunt Down Israelis House To House

The deputy commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards vowed revenge against Israel for its ongoing military incursion into Gaza, which has already killed hundreds of Palestinians and dozens of Israelis. "You [people of Israel] are trees without any roots which were planted in the Islamic lands by the British," Brig. Gen. Hossein Salami said at this week's Friday prayer sermon in Tehran, Fars News Agency reported.

That statement referred to the Balfour Declaration, which led to the dismantling of the Ottoman Empire after World War I and the eventual creation of the state Israel in 1948.

“We will chase you house to house and will take revenge for every drop of blood of our martyrs in Palestine,” Salami said. “and this is the beginning point of Islamic nations awakening for your defeat.”

The deputy commander promised that Palestine will no longer remain calm and cited a statement by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic regime: “Imam [Khomeini] with the statement that Israel must be wiped from the face of the Earth gave a true message to the world. This message enlightened the Muslims and became the concept on the streets of Syria, Lebanon and Palestine.”

Salami, recalling previous wars Israel fought against Hezbollah in Lebanon, said: “The end of the Zionist regime [Israel] has arrived. Islamic movements are armed, missiles are positioned, and today we witness how the arms of the resistance in a corner of the Islamic world are controlling the events in the face of the tragic and barbaric attack by the Zionist regime against the oppressed and defenseless Palestinians in Gaza.”

Salami blamed the U.S. and England for Israel’s policies and activities in the region and stated, “The balance of power will change to the benefit of the Islamic world, and we warn the Zionists that you are a rootless society with no land, no race, no history and no element which constitute a nation. Today, no place in the occupied land is safe for the Zionists … today the missiles of the Palestinian resistance cover much farther than the Zionists expected.

“We are confident that Allah’s promises will come true and in the end the Islamic world will be the graveyard of America and the Zionist regime’s policies along with their allies in the region. The flag of Islam will be raised,” Salami concluded.

The Islamic regime has long trained and armed Hezbollah and Palestinian forces for attacks against Israel. In reference to further arming Palestinians, the speaker of the regime’s Parliament, Ali Larijani, said in a statement Wednesday: “The clear need of Palestine is its need for weapons and basic necessities, and Iran plays an important role in meeting the clear needs of the Palestinian people.”

As reported by The Daily Caller on Wednesday, the Islamic regime’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said that the only solution for the region is the destruction of Israel, and that the armed confrontation must expand beyond Gaza.

“These crimes are beyond imagination and show the true nature of the wolfish and child killer regime, (and) the only solution is its destruction,” the ayatollah declared to his audience. “However, until that time, the expansion of the armed resistance of the Palestinians (from Gaza to) the West Bank is the only way to confront this wild regime.”

Tasnim News Agency, which is close to the Revolutionary Guards, reported on Wednesday that in a letter, 40 high-ranking Guard commanders warned America that it will “certainly be held responsible for the consequences of these events [in Gaza].” The commanders included Ali Shamkhani, current secretary of the regime’s Supreme National Security Council; Yahya Rahim Safavi, the former commander of the Guards and current adviser to the supreme leader; and Ghasem Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Forces (in charge of terrorist activities outside of Iran).

The regime has been awarded $2.8 billion in sanctions relief by the Obama administration in return for an agreement on a four-month extension to the Geneva talks in finding a peaceful solution to its illegitimate nuclear program. The Islamic regime had received $7 billion in sanctions relief after the negotiated agreement last November with a six-month deadline to finalize the agreement, but it has so far refused to back down from its demand to continue developing its nuclear program. It has also succeeded in excluding from the talks its ballistic missile program, which is under U.N. sanctions.

The Revolutionary Guards announced last week its first anti-radar ballistic missile, named “Hormouz 1,” and claims it can penetrate and destroy missile defense systems and could now destroy Israel’s famed Iron Dome missile defense system, as well as any Patriot missile defense system. The announcement said the missile could be used to attack the radar systems of U.S. warships and aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf.

 RABBI:  And they can say that without any condemnation from the world.

It is amazing - when you try to understand this.  Years ago, they said it was this reason - for anti-semitism, so a man name Thodor Herzl, said, "We

are going to come back to Israel and going back - the problem is solved.  The reason is we have no nation.  That's why we are so hated.  So they

went back to Israel and they thought if they went back to Israel, they were going to find peace, but now there is even more hatred, so it is

supernatural.

People say, "I want evidence!"  What's the evidence of God?  One of the evidences of God is the Jewish people.  They exist.

God said, "You are in this world, so long as there are stars and the sun, you are not going to be destroyed!"

That is one thing!

People say, "You know God exists!"

Secondly, You want evidence of the Devil and that he's real?  It's the history of Israel.

Look at what's been done to them.  Look at what happened with Hitler.  Look at that Satanic thing!  What is the thing that is trying to wipe them

out?  It is the reaslity of the enemy.  Besides, 2,000 years ago, the Lord said, "Your Shalom (peace) is hidden from you."

 Luke 19:42  ...especially in your day, the thing that makes for your peace!  But now they are hidden from you."

Why has the world been trying to wipe them out for 2,000 years?  Because the enemy knows what it means when they come to Messiah, His war is

over.  He is defeated.  He is over!  That is why!  That's the reason!

This is about Jerusalem!  Jerusalem is just about a bunch of rocks!  In the natural, it doesn't have anything that any other city has. It has nothing. 

And yet, its the most fought over city in the world.

The world says, "Why?"  Because God says, "This is MY city!  This is where I put MY name name and this is where I'm coming back."

And so the enemy has tried to destroy that city over and over again.  And what really bothers the enemy is having Jewish people there.

This is the only place in the world wherre its a crime to settle in their own land.  That's a crime.  The enemy says, "You can't build there!"

And that's the beginning of the evil, because the Lord says, "I'm coming back there!"  I'm not coming again until they are there!"


BAKKER  

The Devil!  Let's put a name on it. The Devil is trying to destroy the very 'word' of God. Jesus can't come back until the Jews return to Israel!

So!  Just the fact that they returned 70 years ago and built a city there, its the foundational stone of the prophecy of the coming of the Lord!  And

I believe we are in the last generation.  It's all happening.  You can feel it, can't you?  You know the King is coming.  You know the word.

You wouldn't be in this room if you didn't know that!

Most of the church is not even looking at what God is doing.  They are looking at how to get more money in their pockets, which is the love of

money is the root of all evil.

 1 Timothy 6:10   For the love of money is the root of all evils, which while some coveted after, they have strayed from the faith...

How could we be moving into another gospel when Jesus is about to return?  I think we have is what John Shorey calls, a short window of time.

I really believe we are in the day.  I don't see how it could be made much longer.  We are in the time of the generation because of all the fulfillment.

We have warfare in America!  We have turned our backs against God.  We mock God and God is not mocked.


 Galatians 6:7  Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man saveth, that shall he also reap.


RABBI


You have two major things happening here.

Number 1 - You have God distancing himself from Israel the last few years... and at the same time America is rapidly turning against God...

rapidly .. you gotta wonder, how far can it go and how far will the Lord allow it!

Like you said... He is not mocked  but He warns!  His heart is merciful - He warns before he judges.  He calls for that reason.  He is long suffering. 

He holds back, but there is a time comes - a point when he can't be held back any more.

What I found  is - around the country - most believers, they sense it already.  They will tell you - "Yes!  We believe something is coming!

I never had that before, where its that probable, where its ... something is coming here.  America is in danger of judgment.  Never before!

So we are yet -... we know about it.  In days when we learned about prophecy - we knew about it, we talk about persecution, but now its coming.

We talk about it.  Yes!  We have to be ready!


BAKKER

The book about the Mystery of the Shemitah is coming out shortly and I have questions!

Tell me!  What is the Shemitah?  The kindergarden level, please!


RABBI

The Shemitah talks about the 7th year of the Bible.  Most people don't know.  They know the Sabbath Dday, but there is a 7th year!  Every 7th year

was the Shemitah!

The word means 'release!  That's how people would know it..  Remission or wiping away of debt, labor ceases, fruits of a nation are abandoned, to

let collapse.  Or the 'fall' the 'overthrowing'.  It has a whole prophetic realm - this Shemitah!

It not only affected Israel, but it affected Israel and America and it will affect the nation and the world.  This is not only America - this is the world.

It is determined where it warns, global cataclysms.  I can't even tell you how big this thing is.  It's gigantic!  Gigantic!

This is really exactly God's timing.  It can be a blessing or it turns to judgment, and that is what we are dealing with right now.


BAKKER

And so its a time when the land is to rest?


RABBI:  The land must rest.  Every seventh year, there is no sowing, no reaping, no plowing, -  nothing!


 LEVITICUS 25:4   but in the seventh year there shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a Sabbath to the Lord!


There is no buying, no selling of the fruits.  It's a total Sabbath rest. 

NOTE:  If there are food and nut trees that bloom on their own - the poor people can have all there is.

This was to be a good thing but it turns to something else.  The thing is, on the last day of the Shemitah, the very last day is a day which is called

ALUL 29, which is the 29th day of the month of ELUL, which is all debts - all credit - is wiped out, all clean, which is a blessing, but when Israel

turned away from God, their blessing turned into judgment, which meant the wiping away of Jerusalem, in the day of Jerimiah.  It was all linked to

the Mystery of the Shemitah.

The real meaning of the Shemitah means that God is Sovereign.

You don't go after money.  God is the one who owns the land.  God is the one who has given you every blessing you have.  God is the one who is

King over all things.

And so, its really a humbling thing.  The Shemitah humbles the pride of man.  The Shemitah reminds man that his blessings come from God but if

you cut God out of the picture, yo9ur blessings are going  to fall.



BAKKER

Couldn't it be at work right now?


RABBI

It is at work.  Thats the amazing thing.  It is at work.  It has affected ... we are going to see... it is not only behind the Harbinger, it is what happened

in 2001 and 2008 which is what we'll touch on.


But, I didn't know this when I wrote it.  I had an idea.  I had a feeling, but its been affecting our jobs, the rise of the economy, the fall of the

economy, the rise of Wall St. the fall of Wall St., what happens in the White House.

It affects what happens overseas.  It affects everything and everyone of our lives.  And it will affect the future.  Yes!  Yes!  Yes!


BAKKER

Could you just, so people can understand, just what are the signs of the Shemitah?  How does it appear?  We are these people.  We all share!

In reading your new book,  its so overwhelming, I don't know what to do because people won't listen.


RABBI

OK.  What to watch for?  You are blowing the Shofar to wake people up!  But as he Lord said, "Once you blow the Shofar, you are not responsible

for whether people wake up or not.  Or whether to say Yes or No.

Our charge is to blow the Shofar!

No matter what!  Blow the Shofar and that's it!


BAKKER

You know one of the reasons you don't hear a lot of people blowing the Shofar, is because they are scared to death.

The headline in the news this week:

THE GOVERNMENT IS COMING FOR THE CHURCH NEXT

That was just out in the last 48 hours.  They are coming for the church.

And I'll tell you what most churches are scared to say what we are saying.  They are afraid to tell you the truth.

They are afraid.  Grovernment has power.

Politicians crush each other; through political power.

I've talked with Presidents (shows pickture of himself with President Jimmy Carter, President Ronald Reagan, President George G. W. Bush.)

Politicians can bring out a bad spirit.  But they keep that power to win that power.

And I'm not anti-anybody.  I'mm not a Democrat - I'm not a Republican.  I'm not an Independent.  I'm just a Christian who loves Jesus, who

believes we oughta honor God in our nation.  But I know I have seen - I have seen wonderful men of God.  I've seen wonderful Presidents.  I've

seen wonderful Presidents sell their friends for political power.  Power is corrupting.  And we are living in a day when we must honor God!


RABBI

OK!  We are opening up the Mystery this week and in it, they key things that ... imagine we are looking for fingerprints for the Shemitah year.

Well!  First thing, it fits the economy.  It did in Israel.  It caused an economic cessation.  Cessation!  Depression!  Look for that!


BAKKER

Well you told us about the 7 years after 9/11.  We saw that crash!  Then we saw 7 more years.



RABBI

Well - its way beyond that now.  They other key is that its a 7 year cycle.  It's the wiping away of financial accounts.  That is financial collapse there.

TThe other thing is the month of Teshrei.  Remember that Tishrei is the holiest month of the whole year.  Tishrei is the month that begins and ends

 the Shemitah year.

In 2014 - It starts September 25th. br />
IIt's the month of that wipeout!

ELUL 29 buildup to Tishrei!  It builds up to that final moment.  That final wipeout always happens when the sun goes down.  At sunset, all debts

 are wiped out. 

These are some of the keys and once you have the keys, you are going to see some things manifest amazingly. br />
We are going to see some things that some nobel lauereates in economics don't know because they don't read the Bible.

We are going to see some things that the heads of Wall Street donn't know because most of them don't read the Bible.

But God wants us to know!

We mentioned a headline a few moments ago.  A Billlionarie, one of the richest ment in the world is predicting a collapse and here is what he says is

coming.  The finanical collapse.

Another horrific stock market crash is coming and the next bust will be unlike any other we have seen.  Thats the message from Jeremy Granthom,

Something big is going to happen.  Billboards of God seen in the moon, declaring the Bloodmoon.  It's all shaking to me.  It's all startling.

I've been a Christian since I was a little boy, along with my sisters here in the front row, but we grew up in church.  We didn't have pews, we had

benches.  But we've grown up.  We've heard this preached.  We've heard about the prophecies.  And here we are living in it.   I shake with it!  It's

the spirit of God!

I was thinking about God, and I had a dream or a vision of God and God was excited.   We are about to come to the conclusion of the story of the

son of God and why he came.   The resurrection, the greatest play in history is on the stage now. 

We are opening the Revelation.  We are opening the book!  Truly!  And its going to be a quick walk through it.

God's in charge!  God's in charge!

There's not one mistake in the Bible! Rabbi!

Everything you bring to us fits together.  Its that right!

GOD is perfect and what you said about a play coming to its end.  The play comes to its end and then the author walks on stage!

That is what is coming!

DAY 2  THE EVIDENCE


*** THE MYSTERY OF THE SHMITA & THE SEPTENNIAL SABBATICAL CYCLE ***


Here's something really interesting. 

In the segments about "The Mystery Of The Shemitah", Cahn points out how the two largest stock market crashes (in terms of Dow points) in 2001 and 2008 occurred on the same day on the Hebrew calendar: Elul 29, which marked the end of the last two "Sabbatical Years" (which occur every seven years). Given my own research findings regarding autumn panics based upon the Hebrew calendar, this really struck a chord. 

Indeed, let's start with a simple probability analysis. 

The nearly 700 point drop in the DJIA (just over 7%) on 9/17/2001 and 777.7 point drop in the DJIA on 9/29/2008 (just below 7%) were two of the three largest Dow point drops in U.S. history:



These drops occurred on the last day of the Sabbatical Years that occurred between 2000 and 2001 and between 2007 and 2008. This last day of the Sabbatical Year is when debts are to be forgiven per Jewish tradition:
The sabbath year, in Hebrew shmita (Hebrew: שמיטה‎, literally "release"), also called the Sabbatical Year, is the seventh year of the seven-year agricultural cycle mandated by the Torah for the Land of Israel, and still observed in contemporary Judaism.

During Shmita, the land is left to lie fallow and all agricultural activity (including plowing, planting, pruning and harvesting) is forbidden by Torah law. Other cultivation techniques (such as watering, fertilizing, weeding, spraying, trimming and mowing) may be performed as a preventative measure only, not to improve the growth of trees or plants. Additionally, any fruits which grow of their own accord are deemed hefker (ownerless) and may be picked by anyone. A variety of laws also apply to the sale, consumption and disposal of Shmita produce. A second aspect of Shmita concerns debts and loans. When the Shmita year ends, personal debts which are due during that year are considered nullified and forgiven. The Book of Leviticus promises bountiful harvests to those who observe the shmita and makes observance a test of religious faith.
Thus, in the last 15 years, there's only been two days when the Sabbatical Year ended, i.e., 9/17/2001 and 9/29/2008, and on these days two of the three largest point declines in the DJIA in U.S. history occurred. What are the odds of that?

Given 250 trading days per year, seven years entails 3500 possible days in 14 years. As for the last day of the Sabbatical Year, this occurs once every seven years. Since there were two of three days of significance, the odds of Elul 29, 5761 coinciding with one of the three worst point loss days is 1 in 1166. This would be the odds for the second hit as well, i.e., Elul 29, 5769, occurring on one of the three possible days. Thus, the odds for a coincidence of the last day in the Sabbatical Year in 2001 and 2008 both occurring on one of the three largest point declines in stock market history is the multiple of the two probabilities, i.e., one chance in 1361889. (It's actually more significant than this combinatorially since the three largest point declines could be measured against all U.S. stock trading days, but this analysis gives one a good idea of how unlikely such a "coincidence" is.) 

So what does this "mean"?

The Sabbatical Year ends on Elul 29, the last day on the Hebrew calendar before the Rosh Hashanah and the Jewish new year. Over the last three decades, Sabbatical Years ended on the following days:

September 23rd, 1987 = Elul 29, 5747
September 5th, 1994 = Elul 29, 5754
September 17, 2001 = Elul 29, 5761
September 29, 2008 = Elul 29, 5769

All years were marked by major reversals in the stock market with acute declines in the autumn period:

[One might also note the 1973 Yom Kippur Arab surprise attack on Israel soon after the Sabbatical Cycle Year ended that time around.]

What is the nature of this cycle?



While my thesis highlights the manic-depressive character of these historical cycles, what Jonathan Cahn is helping to reveal is the cycles are also about sin and redemption, which is a key feature of the Judeo-Christian saga spelled out in the Bible.

The bottom line is this IMO. 'Forgiveness of debts' can be achieved one way or another. If those who claim to be doing "god's work" are serving Mammon contrary to God's will for mankind, then this will ultimately be corrected.

 WARNING SIGNS

 

 

Before the great holocaust there will be smaller holocausts - the oil fields of the Middle East will be ablaze (this happened in Kuwait in 1991)  and the smoke will rise night and day as a warning of the greater holocaust yet to come.

 

There will be bombs falling on oil fields, on shipping docks and storage tanks.

 

There will be panic among all oil producers and shippers and upon all nations dependent on that oil.

 

Soon, very soon, an economic nightmare will explode into reality.  What frightful news it will be!

Ezekiel warned, "The hands of the people of the land shall be troubled:  I will do them unto them after their way ... and according to their deserts will I judge them.

 

These prophecies once again reveal God's judgmental decrees to wicked nations.

 

Scoff if you choose, but the underlying fears about a collapse will soon become a tragic reality.

 

Numerous cracks will appear in our fragile prosperity, and soon even the most pessimistic will know in their hearts that a total collapse is certain.

 

1 Thessalonians:  For when they shall say Peace and Safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them.

 

 

Senators and congressmen will sit in stunned silence as they realize no one can stop the tailspin into chaos.

 

Business, political and economic leaders will be terrorized by its suddenness and its far reaching effects.

 

SHOREY:  When the suddenness happens, it will be too late to prepare.

 

EZEKIEL 14:13  Son man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mind hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:

 

This is happening in California right now with the drought now in it's third year.

 

The great holocaust follows an economic collapse in America. The enemy will make its move when we are weak and helpless.

 

EZEKIEL 7:19  The people will throw their silver into the streets and their gold will be like trash.  Their silver and gold will not save them from  the Lord's anger.  It will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs.

 

REVELATION 18:16  Woe to you who are at ease in Zion.  He would you that all lukewarm believers would be spewed out of his mouth.  You spoke the word of faith in providing for all your selfish needs.  Now you can say you have need of nothing.

You are "clothed in fine linen, and purple and scarlet and decked with gold, and precious stones and pearls."

 

In one hour, it will all be gone.  The stock market will burn- with all the buildings, the investments.  The skyscrapers will melt.  The fire of divine vengeance will turn cities into polluted wilderness.  Our government, our transportation systems, our food supplies, our communication networks.  (radio and television) all will be lost in one hour.

 

See Revelation 19:17-18

 

Have you been so blinded by prosperity, so deafened by the lusts and care of the world that you cannot have?

Can you not discern the times, know yet not the day of the Lord is at the door? Is this a time to be at ease, to give all your time and energy to your own interests?  Will you go days on end and not seek his face?

Will you keep on forgetting Him who called you out of bondage?  Will you neglect His Word, His House, His secret clout?

Will you comfort yourself by saying "He is not coming!  Judgment is not near!  I will relax, enjoy my life and pleasure and go be with Him when I have finished serving my own desires.

 

Revelation 1:  Bless is he that readeth, and they that hear the word of this prophecy.

 

"Son of man, behold, they if the House of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off.  Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God.  There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord."

DAY 3

 

Jim Bakker thinks it will be a huge earthquake in the Los Angeles area, but we can only wait and see.  The main point is, we have to prepare for any eventuality no matter what is

 

A 4.2 earthquake just happened and scientists are expecting bigger ones.

 

Matthew 24:7  and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in diverse places.

 

Luke 21:28  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh.

 

J.B.  This Blood Moon was one of God's big flashing red lights.

 

These are flashing red lights of prophecy.  I believe we don't have many more months to prepare in a period of prosperity.  Would you say that?

 

SHOREY:  I actually believe the events of the blood moons are starting to put a time clock on the dots.

 

We've been seeing a whole lot of dots and we've been seeing how you can connect the dots, but we haven't been able to put a time frame around the dots.

 

But now I'm beginning to see a time frame linking into the dots.

 

You know the red stop light?  We are all going through life hustle-bustle.  We're not stopping for anything and its like we just come to an intersection, the light turned red and the Lord is saying, "STOP!  I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING."

 

And that's where we're at.

 

 

J.B.  Do you think the Jews are, in the next time period with something so major, that America is going to collapse totally financially, that the Jews who are here, the makers and many of the financial leaders that they are going to go back to Israel because its going to be so bad in the United States?  That's what you are saying in your writings!

 

SHOREY:  It's going to happen in three steps:

 

1.  Economic collapse

 

Our government, Senators, Congressman will recognize that it is unstoppable.  This will leak to a destruction in America.
