The within deed was duly acknowledged in open court by the matter thereof recorded and ordered to be registered.

Know all men by these presents that we Ephriam Henry and Joseph Henry for and in consideraton of the sum of sixty dollars to us in hand paid by Noah Henry of the County of Henderson and State of North Carolina the receipt whereof we do thereby acknowledge here (remissed) released and by these presents for ourselves and our heirs do (remiss) release and forever quit cliam until the said Noah Henry his heirs and assigns forever off the right title and interest and property and demand which we the said Ephraim and Joseph Henry there in is and to a certain tract (piece) and parcel of land lying and being in the County and State aforesaid bounded as follows: Beginning at the spanish oakes at the beginning corner of the original survey and runs east one hundred and three poles then to a white oak on the south side of Bridge creek then north one hundred and eighty eight poles to two small spanish oakes near where the old (Enito) School house on (McClaines) there thence west one hundred and seventy three poles to a stake then south fifty poles to a stake on O Reillys line then east with the same fifty-eight poles to a stake O Reilleys corner then south with O Reilly and Jones line to the beginning containing one hundred and forty acres with the same more or less to there and to hold the said premises with all the privileges and appertenances unto him the said Noah Henry this heirs and assigns forever to that neither we the said Eprhaim and Joseph Henry nor any other person or person in our names or behalf should or will hereafter claim or demand any right or title to the premises aofresaid or any part thereof but they and every of them shall by these presents the encluded and forever released in witness whereof we have hearwith set our hand and offered our seals the 27th day of April 1844 signed sealed and delivered in presents of
