6-1-14 - DREAM - I was looking at dark pyramid, made of long square wooden logs and dark red brick.

6-1-14 - DREAM - A pyramid was being constructed of large rectangular blocks of stone or concrete.

I then saw flowers being painted on the pyramid with branches.

6-1-14 - NAP DREAM - I was standing in a bedroom with T.J. (Thomas Joseph)  Joe's grandson, watching TV on the wall.  (I don't know what the show was)   T.J. put his arm around my waist, and it was nice, but just then.  T.J's Mother opened the closet door (Debbie) and saw us standing there.

I don't recall if she said something or not, but I noticed she had a problem with her bottom teeth, so I reached out and said I would fix it for her (she has dentures in real life)  So I pressed on that particular tooth -  The one just to the right of the 4 front teeth, and the tooth was loose and bleeding.

I couldn't fix the tooth and it just came out of her mouth leaving it bleeding.

I told her she'd have to go to the dentist to have that fixed and woke up.

6-1-14 - NAP DREAM -  Apparently I was in the post office with my cell phone, standing at the counter.

The clerk looked like the physical therapist on Days of Our Lives (she is using a fake name, and has a drawer of fake I.D.s so no one knows what her real name is, but for the time being, she uses the name

 Jordan (Chrishell)  saw that I had paid 49 cents to receive a message on my cell phone and I had to repond to it which would also cost me 49 cents and she didn't think that was fair, so she looked up at the ceiling and said, "May God forgive me for what I am about to do", and reversed the charges so I didn't have to pay another 49 cents to respond to the message.

She had the most beautiful smile I've ever seen on a person and that's what I remember about her - her smile.

6-2-14 - DREAM - I was moving Bible verses around on a computer screen, but I can't remember the topic.

6-3-14 -  DREAM -  I was outside in a yard, on the side of a hill, moving musical squares aound with my fingers.  Each of these squares was playing some kind of Irish songs, and each one was different - in color - and the song. 

It was rather pleasant to say the least.

6-4-14 DREAM   I was looking at a beautiful piece of land that was a farm or ranch with rolling hills, and I was told that the land was worth 12,000,000  dollars.

6-4-14 - DREAM - I was with Lily and Cain from the Young and the Restless TV show.  Yesterday was Lily's birthday.  They were talking about remembering Israel's 6-day war. (That was in 1967 - long before she was born.) I remembered a 56 day war.

6-5-14 -  DREAM - I  went somewhere like a stadium - at least it had a railing in front of us, so it could have been a beach too.

The man I met was a little younger than me, but appeared to be in his 60's with greyish white hair and he was a guitar player. 

He played some songs on the guitar and sang and everyone around us loved to hear him sing and play the guitar.

All the kids said they wanted to learn to play and so did I.  He was guaranteed at least a small income just for that.

He also said he liked football and so did I so we had a lot of talk about, what with music and football alone, plus I was feeling a nice tinngle every time he came near me.

We sat right next to each other talking for a time too and I told him I was falling in love with him.  He was really a nice guy.

Another chubby woman came along after a time and sat next to him, and I didn't want her getting too friendly with him, so I started talking about the kids wanting guitar lessons again.  Apparently she wasn't particularly fond of guitar playing.

He was planning on going to Europe the following day, but I told him that if he stayed, I would cook for him and he could stay in my house for the night.

He told me, with a smile, that was good enough reason, not to go to Europe... and so he didn't

and I woke up happy.

6-6-14 DREAM  It was late in the night, almost morning.  I went into the room where the naked warriors had fallen on th floor exhasted, too tired to even lay on the bed because the were unwashed from battle.

My duty here was to wash the body and feet of my beloved so that he could sleep in a clean bed and rest from his battle.

The last thing I heard sais was, "be forewarned, do not wash his feet if........

and I awoke before I heard the last words

6-6-14 - DREAM -  I was working on a tabled web page, moving what looked like Bible verses around.  I actually couldn't read them, but when I finished, I was told that it was about John ALAST.

NOTE:  It came to me that this was about John who wrote the Book of Revelation, a project I haven't completed.

6-7-14 - Three short vision dreams -  First one was the beautiful inside of a house looking out on wonderful views of the countryside.

Sccond one was about the pain felt by the man writing the words of the book of Revelation

Third one was of my own pain doing the same thing.

In both cases, it showed bleeding internally

6-7-14 - DREAM  - I was in my house somewhere and there were many men and women moving things around and they were making so much noise, I decided to go upstairs and lock myself in my bedroom where I could be alone.  

As soom as I turned the key in the lock, the telephone rang and woke me up.  It was a long distance male friend who had had a personal crises at his house, which he had already taken care of, but was still upset about.

Some teen in his neighborhood had stolen his dog cage which was in his garage full of 4 kittens and a mom cat , dumped out the cats and put the dog cage in his own basement for his dog.  Threats had been made about shooting the kid and it was a big uproar.  But the kittens were found in a box on the street, but with no  mom cat.

6-7-14 - NAP DREAM -  I was in Milwaukee, and my friend Donna moved to the south side near my Mom's new house, so I decided to ride my bicycle all the way down there to visit her.

So I got on my bicycle and went west a few blocks, and went through an office for some reason, where I met Jim Scheidt, who I dated in high school - (a long time ago)

Why we were both on bicycles in this office, I don't know but I told him I was going to ride south on 35th St. to go visit Donna and he said he would go with me.

So, I waited for him to finish doing what he was doing in that office, and we stayed on our bicycles in the office the whole time, and left together to go visit Donna.

We rode across the street - out of the office, turned left and went down to the corner to 35th St. and  turned right onto 35th Street and thence south on 35th St.

Traffic was no problem but for some reason, we heard the news that Donna had been attacked by seagulls for the third time which is a big deal and that's why it made the news.

6-8-14 DREAM  I seemed to be in some kind of medical facility with a lot of waiting rooms in it where you wait for a doctor to come and see you for a few mnutes.

At first there was women with greasy makeup problems.  I didn't see anyone, just a lot of makeup smeared in spots on the walls.

More seriously, was problems with wearing the wrong socks and shoes - like soccer players.  Here I met a man who looked like Steven Tyler - the singer.  But this was about wearing the wrong socks and shoes.  Even I got in on this problem, but I don't know why - I'm not having that kind of issue.

NOTE:  THE WORLDCUP GAMES START ON 6-11-14.  I DIDN'T KNOW THAT WAS ABOUT SOCCER GAMES.

6-9-14 DREAM  I planted 100 trees on our farm (probably almonds)  then I set up a computer page with each tree listed in its own space - 5 columns of 10 trees each, and I labeled them as 683.

We then drove back to our house in separate small blue cars (they were like two seater cars)

When I finished with that, the telephone rang and the man said he was Congressman Denham.  (He really is our Congressman) and he asked for Joe.

6-10-14 - DREAM - I was in a school basement somewhere and the building was being remodeled for a future event that was politically oriented.

I came to the end of the hallway where I met several politicians that I've seen on TV, including the Kentucky Senator Rand Paul ?

They started discussing how high the ceiling was and said the ceiling was  feet tall, and I doubted it, and said to them, "I'm six feet tall and there is still space above my head, so the ceiling has to be higher than six feet.

Rand Paul said, "Most women who say they are six feet tall really aren't but nobody can prove it because they don't shut up long enough to get measured.

6-11-14 DREAM - I was researching some information that happened in 1912 and 1913.   I found it, but couldn't figure out how to copy it out of the dream onto a real life web page.

IT TURNED OUT TO BE  REVELATION 19:12 AND REVELATION 19:13 ABOUT THE DIVINE WARRIOR

6-11-14  VISION   I saw a series of black rectangles I have determined to designate verses in the Book of Revelation.  Todays were full of text but this time the term 2T ULTRA came zipping from the right side of the screen and sliding beneath the verses of Revelation.

NOTE:  IT DIDN'T TAKE ME LONG TO FIND OUT WHAT 2 T ULTRA IS:  IT'S AN EXTERNAL HARDRIVE WITH A USB CONNECTION AND I JUST HAPPEN TO HAVE TWO OF THEM MYSELF TO SAFEGUARD DATA I DON'T WANT TO LOSE.

THIS VISION TELLS ME THAT AN EXTERNAL HARDDRIVE IS BRINGING THIS INFORMATION FORWARD AND PERHAPS INTENDING TO MAKE THEM COME TRUE WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT.

6-11-14 - DREAM - I was living in my Wisconsin house.  It was winter time and a lovely light snow had just fallen, so light that we could still see grass beneath a dusting of the light snow on top.  But the snow was slippery and because of it, a young woman's car had slid down the hill and was stuck on the road below the hill and she couldn't get back up the hill.

I knew that helping her would start rumours that I liked her better than anyone else because I was helping her, but that had nothing to do with liking her or not  - she needed help so I was going to help her get her car back where it belonged.

There was a young woman named Phyllis standing out in the snow and I was pretty sure it was her who needed my help.  She wasn't a big fan of mine, and I neither liked her special over anyone else - I knew her name and that was it, so there was no need for anyone to base any kind of thinking one way or another that I was helping her.

A man came up behind me and asked me if I needed assistance, and I said, "I'm just trying to get my shoes on, and I had difficulty getting my feet into the shoes without actually sitting down and pulling them on with my hands, and finally I got my shoes on and walked down the driveway to help the woman with her vehicle.

6-12-14 - DREAM - I had an electronic clock in front of me, divided into twelve triangles, and the numbers were printed out, one, two three, etc. except they were all in the wrong spaces.

I had to click on each number so it would jump into the next space until I had the numbers in the correct spaces.  it took a long time, because clicking on the numbers didn't guarantee that they went into the appropriate spaces, so I kept working on it until they were correct.

6-13-14  DREAM  I was looking at a computer screen that had some lind of picture on it made up of ********** marks.

My job was to add 5 ***** and it had to be in the right place.

6-14-14 - DREAM - I was looking at a computer screen, made up of mixed Bible verses.  None of them were in order and I had to move the verses around until they made sense.

I didn't get very far before I woke up.

6-14-14 - DREAM  I was looking at a computer screen of Egypitan Pharoahs lined up across a squared board - such like we would see on a checker board or chess board.

Suddenly, on the right side appeared a section of Egyptian men - looking like players on a chess board, and each one was made of carved pure crystal.

NOTE:  I had just watched a documentary about Ramses II and about his death chamber which is the largest ever built, and of his Ramsmuseum and statues of himself that were 70 feet tall.

6-15-14 -  DREAM -  I was living with some young people but they were in the generation after me - my grandchildren's ages.

None of them had jobs and I didn't either, and I was trying to figure out what to do, while giving these young people advice.

My daughter-in-law Becky had been sitting in a pool and got kicked out for sitting there, and I asked her, couldn't they just let you sit there?

A young blonde boy (teen) took a test and you had to get a score of 2 to pass and he only got a 1 so he couldn't get the job he was trying out for.  He said he wanted to be in a band, and I told him I could put him in touch with many bands at the bar I hung out in. (It was country western bar).

I was outside with the girl, wondering how long I could hang out with these kids without a job when I heard my cell phone ring inside the house in the bedroom.

I ran into the house and Joe's son T.J. handed me my cell phone which looked like a hand-held radio with an antenna on it.

The call was from my son Michael (archangel Michael?) and he was almost crying and trying not to.

He was alluding to the fact that my Mother was dead, but he wasn't saying those words, he was telling me my mother had been crossing the street and she fell and the doctor gave her a shot and that didn' help, so he gave her another shot and that didn't help so he gave her a third shot... and I was just about to yell at him, "Are you trying to tell me that my Mother is dead?"   and I woke up.

It wasn't until I woke up and realized that my real Mother died in the hopsital in 2006 and she had been there for months with a blood infection and they didn't know where it was coming from and they couldn't cure her and she finally died from it.

6-15-14 - DREAM -  My car was in the garage and there was something wrong with it, but I couldn't drive it to someone's house to get it fixed, so I drove my 'other' car - and had to stop at a hospital and get my blood tested to check it out on the way.

So, parked on the street in front of the hospital, and took the elevator to a high floor to get my blood tested.  I didn't pay any attention to what floor it was on - just that it was way up in the elevator.

I don't remember getting my blood tested, but after it was done, I was standing in the waiting room, and three young women came into the waiting room, whether for themselves or for their kids I don't know, but I was just standing there, looking the young mothers - barely old enough to have children and wishing I still had little babies to take care of like they did.  Each of the mothers had three young babies themselves.

One of the nurses came into the room to see if I was okay - she was a tall buxom black woman, wearing a dark brown nurses outfit. After she asked me if I was all right, she observed that I watching the babies and I almost had tears in my eyes that my own having babies days were over and wishing I had still little ones to take care of, and the nurse asked me if I had any preference as to how much money the hospital spent on me to take care of my needs. I said, "No!  It doesn't matter how much it is, and she said, Okay. and she walked with me to the door. 

Outside the door was a very steep stairway with dark brown carpet on it that went way down, and there was no railing on the stairs and I was afraid to go down those steep stairs with no railing to hold onto.  I asked the nurse if there was another stairway with a railing somewhere that was safer to use, and she said, "Yes!  and pointed down a long hallway in the other direction.  It looked like a really long way, far away from the direction I knew my car was parked at. 

So, I asked her, "Is there an elevator I could take instead?  "

She said, "Yes!  and pointed to a button on the wall right next to the door I had just come out of, that didn't really make sense, but she pushed the button to call the elevator, and the whole floor where she and I was standing on started going down like we were already already on the elevator and I could see the walls going past me like I was standing on a platform in the elevator already.

We finally got down to the bottom, and since the stairway was no longer there, I just walked forward and I was off the elevator.

I was now carrying a brown blanket instead of having the nurse standing with me, and I didn't know where to put the blanket so I tossed it onto a brown chair with a silver arm rest on each side as I walked through the huge front lobby of the hospital that was carpeted in dark brown, that had no people in it, nor anyone at the front counter as I walked to the front entrance of the hospital so I could retrieve my car and drive it to my friends house to ask if the young man could come to my house and fix the car that was in the garage.

and woke up, feeling quite confused to find myself in my own living room.

6-16-14 - DREAM  I was standing outside on the sidewalk in front of someone's house with Joe and his son Michael, and Mike sent a text to tell someone to tell TJ to buy a pizza for hour 35.

6-16-14  DREAM -  I was in my Father's house and it was dark outside, and dimly lit inside.  I heard my cell phone ring in the living room like 4 church bells chiming loudly.

I grabbed my cell phone and punched in the password and I was awake already- but I had a vision then of the face of my cell phone and in the upper left hand corner, it said HAY!

Since I was awake I didn't attempt to answer it.

6-17-14 - DREAM - The whole dream took place in a large bed with someone sleeping next to me on the right I never saw but Iknew it was a close male friend or relative.

The dream was about blankets. The one I was covered with had a hole about an inch across every 4 inches in every direction.

The blanket, when it came off the bed was going to be disposed of, and there was a factory across the street that took fabrics that came from animals, and mine did - like soft leather of some kind.

Another woman came into the room and we talked about her blanket, and I told her about the disposal place I had seen the sign of and she said her blanket was made of a plant, not of an animal, so she couldn't dispose of her blanket there.

There was also a cute little dark haired girl in the room who was going to help me with the blanket just because she was a sweet nice little girl.  She may have been the daughter of the other woman.

I can't quite recall if I had some kind of illness but there was  some special reason I was in that bed, not just spending the night.

6-17-14  DREAM - I was working on a computer screen, filling in the rectangular boxes with bits of information. It wasn't until I saw the words ' law of land ' that I really knew what I was trying to accomplish, and then I picked up one of these rectangular boxes and saw that it had been rooted to the land beneath it.

an aol search in quotes of those three words brought up  1, 500,000  files.

6-18-14 - DREAM - I was making a new blanket and around the edges I was placing pictures of every imaginable type of bird and flowers.

6-19-14 - DREAM - I was going around and around a circular blanket, with the names of animals on it - and tapping on each animal name as I went around - similar to a zodiac -  I had completed 5 rows of animals when I woke up.

6-20-14 - DREAM -  I was looking at a page of text.  It wasn't very long.

I woke up singing:  'Home! Home on the range!  Where the deer and the antelope play. ...

6-21-14 -  DREAM - I was laying on a large bed, and seeing lots of text words written and hearing movie music about living on a ranch in the wide open country.

6-22-14- DREAM - I was looking at writing about the generations of the Anunnaki.

6-22-14  DREAM - I was living in a house in a neighborhood, not like this house.  My husband left, taking the car, and I was home alone.

All of a sudden an ugly army green box truck pulled up to the house, and a man got out wearing the same ugly color green uniform like WWII army green, and the man came up to the bedroom window and tried to pry it open.  The only thing in the room I could use for a weapon was a vaccum cleaner, but it was too heavy to lift it up to the window to block him from coming into the house.

So, I got super brave and walked to the front door and went past the man saying, "If you are delivering a new TV set, just do what you have to do and kept going to a neighbor's house.

At the neighbor's house, I called my own phone number and someone answered and acted like they didn't know who I was.

So, I decided I would go home and confront the guy because he was outside the house like he was delivering something into the house...

my mind goes blank here and I woke up, so I don't recall what I said to him and I know I said something... and it wasn't nice I'm sure.

6-23-14 DREAM -  I was looking at page of text, and started moving the lines around one by one.  I didn't actually read the lines, so I don't know what it said, but as I woke up and realized what I was doing, I tried to figure out what text Iwas moving, and then started to hear the song sung - by the band QUEEN:   Under Presssure.

6-24-14 - DREAM  - I went to a church with a chubby woman who is very familiar to me - her name might be Judy -  still trying to identify her in my mind.

There was a grotto in this church where we went, and hanging on string or ropes were some long black things - don't know if it was plant material or if they were snakes - about three feet long - hundreds of them, hanging in this grotto.

6-24-14 - DREAM -  I  went to a church again - but don't remember that part - afterward I went to a woman's house, and there was a chubby black woman there sitting in a chair expecting her second child.  She was scared out of her wits after giving birth the firsst time.

I assured her that giving birth the second time was way easier than the first time -  I said, "I guarantee it!"

I woke up and immediately had a visions that said  KILLER QUEEN  - then there was more text below that and the word BEE below that.

6-25-14 - DREAM -  I was  having a party at my house with some young adults, when I realized that my horse had been left at the property down the road and I should get it and bring it home.

I walked down the road to where the horse was, and when I came to it, I noticed it didn't have a bridle or anything on the horse to lead it home, so I put a cloth old ladies cap over its head with ties under it's chin, and led it home like it was an old lady.

NOTE: i didn't get up and write the dream down, and told myself I would remember the dream, which I did, however, I had two more dreams about the dream, so I wouldn't forget it, and in both dreams, I was looking at some text about a horse - that was nothing like what I actually dreamt.

6-25-14 - MEDITATION - DREAM IN RED

I was coming outside from the front entrance of a very large building that had double doors on the front of it.

On the front walkway, above a 5 step stairway, was a mattress with a thin red cover over it.

A woman dressed in a red suit dress either kicked it by accident or tripped on it, but it made her upset, and she went past it, down the 5 steps, turned right on the sidewalk, and then turned right at the corner and as she passed the area I heard her say that she wanted that mattress removed.

I recognized the woman as Gloria from "the Young and Restless" TV show.

I knew that mattress belonged to my Father.  I didn't know why it was in this particular place, but my Father was old, and a very busy man, so I decided to take care of the matter myself.

I went over to the mattress and I saw that there were some credit cards on top of the mattress, and when I went to pick them up, I accidentally knocked them down behind the mattress.  I managed to moved the mattress enough to fish the credit cards and a single sheet of paper out from under the mattress.

Now my Father came out of the building, and wanted to cross the street.  I grabbed him by the arm after he descended the five steps to stop him because there was oncoming traffic from the left, and I told my Father he couldn't cross the street by himself, because it took him two weeks to cross the street as old as he was and he couldn't do it alone.

Across the street was my Father's red car.

I took my Father back up to the building and let him go inside, while I took care of the mattress problem.

The mattress had now turned into a bright red car that was open and a voice was coming out of it.

I know the voice was my Father, broadcasting from the building.  I could shut off the radio in the car and lock the car doors, and before I could do that, a little boy came along and tried to reach the locks on the opposite side of the car - through the back seat entrance, but his arms were a little too short and he couldn't get any pressure on the lock to push it down.

I pulled on the back of his pants just enough to stop him from locking the car door.  That was my responsibility if it needed to be done, which I knew it did, because I didn't want anyone to steal the car.

At this point, the trash truck went by outside the house and half woke me up, but I was still dreaming too.

I continued to take control of the car and lock the car, however, the radio was still on inside the car, and the voice said, "There is a hidden assassin with a hidden assassination plot.

NOTE:  LATER I meditated on this and was told that the two weeks was going to start today - Thursday 6-26-14.

6-26-14  DREAM - I was typing the names of various aliens and so many were so similar - like hittites - that I couldn't even determine where I was supposed to type, so I quit and made myself wake up.  Who knew there were so many?  Who named them?

6-26-14 - DREAM - I was in an office somewhere and our friend Rita D.C. came up to me and greeted me.  She said she had a gift for me.

Someone else subsequently asked what her motive was.

The gift was going to be brought to my home later in the day, after we got our day's work done, which was cleaning the office.

Now at home, Rita brought the gift into the house - it was a beautiful oval bathtub shaped bowl made of plaster of Paris or some other material, with beautiful formed flowers and leaves all around it.

It was so beautiful we decided to place it on the floor in the livingroom right in front of the floor to ceiling window so that everyone passing by could see it and admire its beauty.

We carefully placed it on the floor and the second it touched the floor it broke into several large pieces.

6-26-14 - THE SPIRAL QUILT

I was at my Mother's house - whether I lived there or was visiting I'm not certain.

On the window sill were some flower pots with dirt in them.  There might have been seeds planted in them, but what I saw was water sprites coming up out of the dirt - in a spiral fashion - around and around and around to the left.

One of my family members - brother or sister was in their bedroom, which was right next to the laundry room.  They said they had gotten some dirt on their quilt and it needed to be washed.

I told them we could easily do that.  I knew how to run the washing machine.

Rather than bring the quilt into the room, there was an opening in the wall between the bedroom and the laundry room, and they fed three layers of bedding through the opening right into the washing machine - a sheet, a blanket, and the quilt, all in one pile.  They fed it through the opening from one end which was okay to begin with, but they should be separated to wash them, starting with the sheet,  then the blanket, and then the quilt.

But something went wrong while the bedding was coming through the opening in the wall - and the machine started spinning to the left, which it should never do while the lid is open.

The quilt looked beautiful while it was spiraling to the left, but no water could come into the machine while it was open, and the bedding would never get clean, just twisted into a big spiralled mess.

6-26-14- DREAM -  I was working on a web page about the Tree of Life, and repairing the sepherot that needed fixing.

I went to other pages where the sepherot werre correct and copied them and moved them into the proper position on the new page, including the correct sounds and colors they needed  to be.

6-27-14 DREAM  I was with a very nice chubby woman and we were taking the temperature of the space in which I was gardening to make it was not too hot nor too cool to grow the particular plant I wanted to thrive,  The planted needed special circumstances in which to grow or it would not live.

The woman told me that the mean temperature was taken every 9 1/2 years in certain places around the globe, and then she showed me some hand written cards of the places this was done.  These cards were all hand written like with black markers, and the names of the place was on each card and the only one I could remember was TOHLI,  but I couldn't remember where Tohli was.

6-27-14  MEDITATION   First I was shown the name David Rothchild  (environmentalist - very rich)  he wrote a book about living green, so I bought his book and a few others on the same and similar topics to use for the community.

A few minutes later, I was looking at a page of playing cards and my eyes were drawn to an 8 of spades below another 8 of spades

These people have a keen sense of their inherent obligation to work. They have been known to tax their health and sacrifice their loved ones in their drive to get things done. The Eight of Spade often ends up inheriting property or money from their parents or will otherwise obtain substantial help from family members.

Although primarily concerned with hard work, this Card does have a higher calling. It is often considered the Healers Card. Should the 8 of Spade use their enormous spiritual energy, and the application of higher wisdom to accomplish their goals, they are sure to find their place among the great ones.

Still another class of Eight of Spade will realize nothing besides their innate power. They work solely for the amount of money they can amass, and the joy of being called a "big shot"!

6-28-14 - DREAM - I was on the front porch of my Father's house on 16th St. in Milwaukee with my son, and I could see the full moon in the sky at night, and I taught my kids to pray...  "God has placed the sun and the moon in the sky, and we shall praise His name forever.'

6-28-14 - DREAM - I was living on a farm very similar to where I am now, but I was living with my ex-husband Edward and we were in our early 20's.  (I didn't meet him until I was in my 40's) (I was 45 and he was 35 and acted like he was 17) He had a male friend with a girlfriend and they were with us also.  They looked a lot alike as well.

The men wanted a bell for some reason, and I told them there was one out in the orchard, so we walked out there, and found a wide path to where there was a school for young children. On the front of the school, way up high was hanging two golden colored bells  - too high for me to reach.

I went back along the path and told them about the bells on the front of the school, but they never went there.  Instead, I started seeing statements in front of me that all started with "Thank you for" and the rest of the sentences were like prayers of thanks -  there were hundreds of them, like hanging from the trees or the sky  - just hanging in the air.

That went on for quite some time and I don't have a memory of how the dream ended -  it may have just ended with all those thank you prayers.

NOTE:  After typing this up, I was thinking about how life really was with him, and I was told that those events were sacrifices on my part and I was being thanked for them.

6-28-14 - NAP DREAM - I received this book in the mail today:  SETH:  DREAMS AND PROJECTION OF CONSCIOUSNESS, BY  JANE ROBERTS.  I  was watching the news on TV , looking for clues that might be about a previous prophetic dream that has already come true about an assassination coming, so when the mail come, I only looked at the inside of the book for any photos it might have.  I saw a drawing of rings of consciousness, immediately got tired, so I marked the page with the front fly cover, fell asleep and had a dream about being with Jane Roberts and her husband Robert Butts.  They were telling me about how they met SETH, which is in this book.  Unfortunately, I don't remember consciously what the said.

6-29-14 - DREAM - WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO DIFFICULT.

I was going to live on the upper most floor of a huge building with a woman named Kathy.

In order to access the space where we were going to live, we had to climb up an 8 foot ladder, then crawl across a rickety board another 8 feet to the space access.

The problem here is the 8 foot crawl started out on a solid board that split half away across the board. Kathy made it but she weighed half of what I did.

By going up the ladder 4 feet, I could see into the room next door to the one I was in.  It was a fabulous diningroom - with broacade carpet on the floor, one I've seen before in another dream some time ago. 

I also could see that on the other side of the immense room I was in, was another access to the same floor, but in another direction - and there was probably no access from one space to the other from where I was.

However, it would have been so much simpler to crawl up the ladder if it was placed in the diningroom, directly into the access space - and avoid crawling across this 8 foot board that split half way across.  Why didn't they just place the ladder in the diningroom?  Doesn't anyone think these things out before they do them?

The earliest Greek depictions of Hecate are single faced, not three-formed. Farnell states: "The evidence of the monuments as to the character and significance of Hecate is almost as full as that of the literature. But it is only in the later period that they come to express her manifold and mystic nature."

The earliest known monument is a small terracotta found in Athens, with a dedication to Hecate, in writing of the style of the 6th century. The goddess is seated on a throne with a chaplet bound round her head; she is altogether without attributes and character, and the only value of this work, which is evidently of quite a general type and gets a special reference and name merely from the inscription, is that it proves the single shape to be her earlier form, and her recognition at Athens to be earlier than the Persian invasion.

Triple Hecate and the Charites, Attic, 3rd century BCE (Glyptothek, Munich)

The 2nd-century travel writer Pausanias stated that Hecate was first depicted in triplicate by the sculptor Alkamenes in the Greek Classical period of the late 5th century BCE  which was placed before the temple of the Wingless Nike in Athens. Greek anthropomorphic conventions of art resisted representing her with three faces: a votive sculpture from Attica of the 3rd century BCE (illustration, left), shows three single images against a column; round the column of Hecate dance the Charites. Some classical portrayals show her as a triplicate goddess holding a torch, a key, serpents, daggers and numerous other items.Depictions of both a single form Hekate and triple formed, as well as occasional four headed descriptions continued throughout her history.

In Egyptian-inspired Greek esoteric writings connected with Hermes Trismegistus, and in magical papyri of Late Antiquity she is described as having three heads: one dog, one serpent, and one horse. In other representations her animal heads include those of a cow and a boar.Hecate's triplicity is elsewhere expressed in a more Hellenic fashion in the vast frieze of the great Pergamon Altar, now in Berlin, wherein she is shown with three bodies, taking part in the battle with the Titans. In the Argolid, near the shrine of the Dioscuri, Pausanias saw the temple of Hecate opposite the sanctuary of Eileithyia; He reported the image to be the work of Scopas, stating further, "This one is of stone, while the bronze images opposite, also of Hecate, were made respectively by Polycleitus and his brother Naucydes, son of Mothon." A 4th century BCE marble relief from Crannon in Thessaly was dedicated by a race-horse owner. It shows Hecate, with a hound beside her, placing a wreath on the head of a mare. She is commonly attended by a dog or dogs, and the most common form of offering was to leave meat at a crossroads. Images of her attended by a dog are also found at times when she is shown as in her role as mother goddess with child, and when she is depicted alongside the god Hermes and the goddess Kybele in reliefs.

In the Argonautica, a 3rd-century BCE Alexandrian epic based on early material^] Jason placates Hecate in a ritual prescribed by Medea, her priestess: bathed at midnight in a stream of flowing water, and dressed in dark robes, Jason is to dig a round pit and over it cut the throat of a ewe, sacrificing it and then burning it whole on a pyre next to the pit as a holocaust. He is told to sweeten the offering with a libation of honey, then to retreat from the site without looking back, even if he hears the sound of footsteps or barking dogs. All these elements betoken the rites owed to a chthonic deity.

Mythology

Hecate has been characterized as a pre-Olympian chthonic goddess. She appears in the Homeric Hymn to Demeter and in Hesiod's Theogony, where she is promoted strongly as a great goddess. The place of origin of her following is uncertain, but it is thought that she had popular followings in Thrace.^[24] Her most important sanctuary was Lagina, a theocratic city-state in which the goddess was served by eunuchs.^[24] Lagina, where the famous temple of Hecate drew great festal assemblies every year, lay close to the originally Macedonian colony ofStratonikeia, where she was the city's patroness.^[25] In Thrace she played a role similar to that of lesser-Hermes, namely a governess of liminal regions (particularly gates) and the wilderness.

The first literature mentioning Hecate is the Theogony by Hesiod:

[...] Hecate whom Zeus the son of Cronos honored above all. He gave her splendid gifts, to have a share of the earth and the unfruitful sea. She received honor also in starry heaven, and is honored exceedingly by the deathless gods. For to this day, whenever any one of men on earth offers rich sacrifices and prays for favor according to custom, he calls upon Hecate. Great honor comes full easily to him whose prayers the goddess receives favorably, and she bestows wealth upon him; for the power surely is with her. For as many as were born of Earth and Ocean amongst all these she has her due portion. The son of Cronos did her no wrong nor took anything away of all that was her portion among the former Titan gods: but she holds, as the division was at the first from the beginning, privilege both in earth, and in heaven, and in sea.

According to Hesiod, she held sway over many things:

Whom she will she greatly aids and advances: she sits by worshipful kings in judgement, and in the assembly whom she will is distinguished among the people. And when men arm themselves for the battle that destroys men, then the goddess is at hand to give victory and grant glory readily to whom she will. Good is she also when men contend at the games, for there too the goddess is with them and profits them: and he who by might and strength gets the victory wins the rich prize easily with joy, and brings glory to his parents. And she is good to stand by horsemen, whom she will: and to those whose business is in the grey discomfortable sea, and who pray to Hecate and the loud-crashing Earth-Shaker, easily the glorious goddess gives great catch, and easily she takes it away as soon as seen, if so she will. She is good in the byre with Hermes to increase the stock. The droves of kine and wide herds of goats and flocks of fleecy sheep, if she will, she increases from a few, or makes many to be less. So, then, albeit her mother's only child, she is honored amongst all the deathless gods. And the son of Cronos made her a nurse of the young who after that day saw with their eyes the light of all-seeing Dawn. So from the beginning she is a nurse of the young, and these are her honours.

Hesiod emphasizes that Hecate was an only child, the daughter of Perses and Asteria, a star-goddess who was the sister of Leto (the mother of Artemis and Apollo). Grandmother of the three cousins was Phoebe the ancient Titaness who personified the moon.

Hesiod's inclusion and praise of Hecate in the Theogony has been troublesome for scholars, in that he seems to hold her in high regard, while the testimony of other writers, and surviving evidence, suggests that this may have been exceptional. One theory is that Hesiod's original village had a substantial Hecate following and that his inclusion of her in the Theogony was a way of adding to her prestige by spreading word of her among his readers. Another theory is that Hekate was mainly a household god and humble household worship could have been more pervasive and yet not mentioned as much as temple worship. In Athens Hecate, along with Zeus, Hermes, Hestia, and Apollo, were very important in daily life as they were the main gods of the household.However, it is clear that the special position given to Hecate by Zeus is upheld throughout her history by depictions found on coins depicting Hecate on the hand of Zeus  as highlighted in more recent research presented by d'Este and Rankine.

Hecate possibly originated among the Carians of Anatolia, the region where most theophoric names invoking Hecate, such as Hecataeus or Hecatomnus, the father of Mausolus, are attested, and where Hecate remained aGreat Goddess into historical times, at her unrivalled cult site in Lagina. While many researchers favor the idea that she has Anatolian origins, it has been argued that "Hecate must have been a Greek goddess.^] The monuments to Hecate in Phrygia and Caria are numerous but of late date.

If Hecate's cult spread from Anatolia into Greece, it is possible it presented a conflict, as her role was already filled by other more prominent deities in the Greek pantheon, above all by Artemis and Selene. This line of reasoning lies behind the widely accepted hypothesis that she was a foreign deity who was incorporated into the Greek pantheon. Other than in the Theogony, the Greek sources do not offer a consistent story of her parentage, or of her relations in the Greek pantheon: sometimes Hecate is related as a Titaness, and a mighty helper and protector of humans. Her continued presence was explained by asserting that, because she was the only Titan who aided Zeus in the battle of gods and Titans, she was not banished into the underworld realms after their defeat by the Olympians.

One surviving group of stories suggests how Hecate might have come to be incorporated into the Greek pantheon without affecting the privileged position of Artemis. Here, Hecate is a mortal priestess often associated with Iphigeneia. She scorns and insults Artemis, who in retribution eventually brings about the mortal's suicide. There was an area sacred to Hecate in the precincts of the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, where the priests,megabyzi, officiated.

Hecate also came to be associated with ghosts, infernal spirits, the dead and sorcery. Shrines to Hecate were placed at doorways to both homes and cities with the belief that it would protect from restless dead and other spirits. Likewise, shrines to Hecate at three way crossroads were created where food offerings were left at the new moon to protect those who did so from spirits and other evils.

One interesting passage exists suggesting that the word "jinx" might have originated in a cult object associated with Hecate. "The Byzantine polymath Michael Psellus [...] speaks of a bullroarer, consisting of a golden sphere, decorated throughout with symbols and whirled on an oxhide thong. He adds that such an instrument is called aiunx (hence "jinx"), but as for the significance says only that it is ineffable and that the ritual is sacred to Hecate."

Hecate is the primary feminine figure in the Chaldean Oracles (2nd-3rd century CE), where she is associated in fragment 194 with a strophalos (usually translated as a spinning top, or wheel, used in magic) "Labour thou around the Strophalos of Hecate."This appears to refer to a variant of the device mentioned by Psellus.

Variations in interpretations of Hecate's role or roles can be traced in 5th-century Athens. In two fragments ofAeschylus she appears as a great goddess. In Sophocles and Euripides she is characterized as the mistress of witchcraft and the Keres.

In the Homeric Hymn to Demeter, Hecate is called the "tender-hearted", a euphemism perhaps intended to emphasize her concern with the disappearance of Persephone, when she assisted Demeter with her search for Persephone following her abduction by Hades, suggesting that Demeter should speak to the god of the sun, Helios. Subsequently she became Persephone's companion on her yearly journey to and from the realms of Hades. Because of this association, Hecate was one of the chief goddesses of the Eleusinian Mysteries, alongside Demeter and Persephone.

The modern understanding of Hecate has been strongly influenced by syncretic Hellenistic interpretations. Many of the attributes she was assigned in this period appear to have an older basis. For example, in the magical papyri of Ptolemaic Egypt, she is called the 'she-dog' or 'bitch', and her presence is signified by the barking of dogs. In late imagery she also has two ghostly dogs as servants by her side. However, her association with dogs predates the conquests of Alexander the Great and the emergence of the Hellenistic world. When Philip II laid siege to Byzantiumshe had already been associated with dogs for some time; the light in the sky and the barking of dogs that warned the citizens of a night time attack, saving the city, were attributed to Hecate Lampadephoros (the tale is preserved in the Suda). In gratitude the Byzantines erected a statue in her honor.

As a virgin goddess, she remained unmarried and had no regular consort, though some traditions named her as the mother of Scylla.

Triple Hecate

Although associated with other moon goddesses such as Selene, she ruled over three kingdoms; the earth, the sea, and the sky. She had the power to create or hold back storms, which influenced her patronage of shepherds and sailors.

Cult images and altars of Hecate in her triplicate or trimorphic form were placed at three-way crossroads (though they also appeared before private homes and in front of city gates).^[9] In this form she came to be known as the goddess Trivia "the three ways" in Roman mythology. In what appears to be a 7th-century indication of the survival of cult practices of this general sort, Saint Eligius, in his Sermo warns the sick among his recently converted flock in Flanders against putting "devilish charms at springs or trees or crossroads",^[52] and, according to Saint Ouenwould urge them "No Christian should make or render any devotion to the deities of the trivium, where three roads meet...".

A goddess, probably Hekate or else Artemis, is depicted with a bow, dog and twin torches.

Dogs were closely associated with Hecate in the Classical world. "In art and in literature Hecate is constantly represented as dog-shaped or as accompanied by a dog. Her approach was heralded by the howling of a dog. The dog was Hecate's regular sacrificial animal, and was often eaten in solemn sacrament." The sacrifice of dogs to Hecate is attested for Thrace, Samothrace, Colophon, and Athens.

It has been claimed that her association with dogs is "suggestive of her connection with birth, for the dog was sacred to Eileithyia, Genetyllis, and other birth goddesses. Although in later times Hecate's dog came to be thought of as a manifestation of restless souls or demons who accompanied her, its docile appearance and its accompaniment of a Hecate who looks completely friendly in many pieces of ancient art suggests that its original signification was positive and thus likelier to have arisen from the dog's connection with birth than the dog's underworld associations."The association with dogs, particularly female dogs, could be explained by a metamorphosis myth. The friendly looking female dog accompanying Hecate was originally the Trojan Queen Hekabe, who leapt into the sea after the fall of Troy and was transformed by Hecate into her familiar.

Another metamorphosis myth explains why the polecat is also associated with Hecate. From Antoninus Liberalis: "At Thebes Proitos had a daughter Galinthias. This maiden was playmate and companion of Alkmene, daughter of Elektryon. As the birth throes for Herakles were pressing on Alkmene, the Moirai (Fates) and Eileithyia (Birth-Goddess), as a favour to Hera, kept Alkmene in continuous birth pangs. They remained seated, each keeping their arms crossed. Galinthias, fearing that the pains of her labour would drive Alkmene mad, ran to the Moirai and Eleithyia and announced that by desire of Zeus a boy had been born to Alkmene and that their prerogatives had been abolished.

At all this, consternation of course overcame the Moirai and they immediately let go their arms. Alkmene’s pangs ceased at once and Herakles was born. The Moirai were aggrieved at this and took away the womanly parts of Galinthias since, being but a mortal, she had deceived the gods. They turned her into a deceitful weasel (or polecat), making her live in crannies and gave her a grotesque way of mating. She is mounted through the ears and gives birth by bringing forth her young through the throat. Hekate felt sorry for this transformation of her appearance and appointed her a sacred servant of herself."

Aelian told a different story of a woman transformed into a polecat: ""I have heard that the polecat was once a human being. It has also reached my hearing that Gale was her name then; that she was a dealer in spells and a sorceress (Pharmakis); that she was extremely incontinent, and that she was afflicted with abnormal sexual desires. Nor has it escaped my notice that the anger of the goddess Hekate transformed it into this evil creature. May the goddess be gracious to me : fables and their telling I leave to others."

Athenaeus (writing in the 1st or 2nd century BCE, and drawing on the etymological speculation of Apollodorus of Athens) notes that the red mullet is sacred to Hecate, "on account of the resemblance of their names; for that the goddess is trimorphos, of a triple form". The Greek word for mullet was trigle and later trigla. He goes on to quote a fragment of verse "O mistress Hecate, Trioditis / With three forms and three faces / Propitiated with mullets". In relation to Greek concepts of pollution, Parker observes, "The fish that was most commonly banned was the red mullet (trigle), which fits neatly into the pattern. It 'delighted in polluted things,' and 'would eat the corpse of a fish or a man'. Blood-coloured itself, it was sacred to the blood-eating goddess Hecate. It seems a symbolic summation of all the negative characteristics of the creatures of the deep." At Athens, it is said there stood a statue of HecateTriglathena, to whom the red mullet was offered in sacrifice. After mentioning that this fish was sacred to Hecate, Alan Davidson writes, "Cicero, Horace, Juvenal, Martial, Pliny, Seneca and Suetonius have left abundant and interesting testimony to the red mullet fever which began to affect wealthy Romans during the last years of the Republic and really gripped them in the early Empire. The main symptoms were a preoccupation with size, the consequent rise to absurd heights of the prices of large specimens, a habit of keeping red mullet in captivity, and the enjoyment of the highly specialized aesthetic experience induced by watching the color of the dying fish change." 

The frog, significantly a creature that can cross between two elements, also has become sacred to Hecate in modern Pagan literature.

In her three-headed representations, discussed above, Hecate often has one or more animal heads, including cow, dog, boar, serpent and horse.

Plants

Hecate was closely associated with plant lore and the concoction of medicines and poisons. In particular she was thought to give instruction in these closely related arts. Apollonius of Rhodes, in the Argonautica mentions thatMedea was taught by Hecate, "I have mentioned to you before a certain young girl whom Hecate, daughter of Perses, has taught to work in drugs."

The goddess is described as wearing oak in fragments of Sophocles' lost play The Root Diggers (or The Root Cutters), and an ancient commentary on Apollonius of Rhodes' Argonautica (3.1214) describes her as having a head surrounded by serpents, twining through branches of oak.

The yew in particular was sacred to Hecate.

"Greeks held the yew to be sacred to Hecate... Her attendants draped wreathes of yew around the necks of black bulls which they slaughtered in her honor and yew boughs were burned on funeral pyres. The yew was associated with the alphabet and the scientific name for yew today, taxus, was probably derived from the Greek word for yew, toxos, which is hauntingly similar to toxon, their word for bow and toxicon, their word for poison. It is presumed that the latter were named after the tree because of its superiority for both bows and poison."

Hecate was said to favor offerings of garlic, which was closely associated with her cult. She is also sometimes associated with cypress, a tree symbolic of death and the underworld, and hence sacred to a number of chthonic deities.

A number of other plants (often poisonous, medicinal and/or psychoactive) are associated with Hecate. These include aconite (also called hecateis), belladonna, dittany, and mandrake. It has been suggested that the use of dogs for digging up mandrake is further corroboration of the association of this plant with Hecate; indeed, since at least as early as the 1st century CE, there are a number of attestations to the apparently widespread practice of using dogs to dig up plants associated with magic.

Places

Hecate was associated with borders, city walls, doorways, crossroads and, by extension, with realms outside or beyond the world of the living. She appears to have been particularly associated with being 'between' and hence is frequently characterized as a "liminal" goddess. "Hecate mediated between regimes — Olympian and Titan —, but also between mortal and divine spheres.^] This liminal role is reflected in a number of her cult titles: Apotropaia(that turns away/protects); Enodia (on the way); Propulaia/Propylaia (before the gate); Triodia/Trioditis (who frequents crossroads); Klêidouchos (holding the keys), etc.

As a goddess expected to avert harmful or destructive spirits from the house or city over which she stood guard and to protect the individual as she or he passed through dangerous liminal places, Hecate would naturally become known as a goddess who could also refuse to avert the demons, or even drive them on against unfortunate individuals.

It was probably her role as guardian of entrances that led to Hecate's identification by the mid fifth century with Enodia, a Thessalian goddess. Enodia's very name ("In-the-Road") suggests that she watched over entrances, for it expresses both the possibility that she stood on the main road into a city, keeping an eye on all who entered, and in the road in front of private houses, protecting their inhabitants.

This function would appear to have some relationship with the iconographic association of Hecate with keys, and might also relate to her appearance with two torches, which when positioned on either side of a gate or door illuminated the immediate area and allowed visitors to be identified. "In Byzantium small temples in her honor were placed close to the gates of the city. Hecate's importance to Byzantium was above all as a deity of protection. WhenPhilip of Macedon was about to attack the city, according to the legend she alerted the townspeople with her ever present torches, and with her pack of dogs, which served as her constant companions."This suggests that Hecate's close association with dogs derived in part from the use of watchdogs, who, particularly at night, raised an alarm when intruders approached. Watchdogs were used extensively by Greeks and Romans.

Like Hecate, "[t]he dog is a creature of the threshold, the guardian of doors and portals, and so it is appropriately associated with the frontier between life and death, and with demons and ghosts which move across the frontier. The yawning gates of Hades were guarded by the monstrous watchdog Cerberus, whose function was to prevent the living from entering the underworld, and the dead from leaving it."

Festivals

Hecate was worshipped by both the Greeks and the Romans who had their own festivals dedicated to her.

The Deipnon

The Athenian Greeks honored Hekate during the Deipnon. In Greek, deipnon means the evening meal, usually the largest meal of the day. Hekate's Deipnon is, at its most basic, a meal served to Hekate and the restless dead once a lunar month on the night when there is no visible moon, usually noted on modern calendars as the new moon.^[79]The Deipnon is always followed the next day by the Noumenia, when the first sliver of moon is visible, and then the Agathos Diamon the day after that.

The main purpose of the Deipnon was to honor Hekate and to placate the souls in her wake who “longed for vengeance.” A secondary purpose was to purify the household and to atone for bad deeds a household member may have committed that offended Hekate, causing her to withhold her favor from them. The Deipnon consists of three main parts: 1) the meal that was set out at a crossroads, usually in a shrine outside the entryway to the home  2) an expiation sacrifice, and 3) purification of the household.

According to Ruickbie (2004, p. 19) the Greeks observed two days sacred to Hecate, one on the 13th of August and one on the 30th of November, whilst the Romans observed the 29th of every month as her sacred day.

Sorita d'Este observes that it is also important to give consideration to the difference between the modern calendar and the lunisolar calendars which would have been in use when these dates were set, giving us a full moon date around the 13th of each month and the date for the August festival originating with the festival of Nemoralia held in honour of Diana.

Modern expressions

Today Hecate is worshipped by people who have reconstructed and revived the indigenous religions of Greece, such as Hellenic polytheist groups like Hellenion and YSEE.

Hecate is also one of the "patron" goddesses of many Wiccans, who in some traditions identify her with the Triple Goddess' aspect of the "Crone". In other circles Wiccan witches associate her with the "Maiden", or the "Mother" aspects as well, for Hecate has three faces, or phases. Her role as a tripartite goddess, which many modern-day Wiccans associate with the concept of "the Maiden, the Mother and the Crone", was made popular in modern times by writers such as Robert Graves in The White Goddess, and many others, such as the 20th century occultist and author, Aleister Crowley. Historical depictions and descriptions show her facing in three different directions, a clear and precise reference to the tripartite nature of this ancient Goddess; the later Greek Magical Papyrisometimes refer to her as also having the heads of animals, and this can be seen as a reference to her aspect of Motherhood; in this portrayal she is known as "Mistress of Animals". Modern Hellenic polytheists honor Hekate during the Deipnon.

Survival in pre-modern folklore

Hecate has survived in folklore as a 'hag' figure associated with witchcraft. Strmiska notes that Hecate, conflated with the figure of Diana, appears in late antiquity and in the early medieval period as part of an "emerging legend complex" associated with gatherings of women, the moon, and witchcraft that eventually became established "in the area of Northern Italy, southern Germany, and the western Balkans." This theory of the Roman origins of many European folk traditions related to Diana or Hecate was explicitly advanced at least as early as 1807 and is reflected in numerous etymological claims by lexicographers from the 17th to the 19th century, deriving "hag" and/or "hex" from Hecate by way of haegtesse (Anglo-Saxon) and hagazussa (Old High German). Such derivations are today proposed only by a minority since being refuted by Grimm, who was skeptical of theories proposing non-Germanic origins for German folklore traditions.

Modern etymology reconstructs Proto-Germanic *hagatusjon- from haegtesse and hagazussa; the first element is probably cognate with hedge, which derives from PIE *kagh- "hedge, enclosure", and the second perhaps from *dhewes- "fly about, be smoke, vanish."

Whatever the precise nature of Hecate's transition into folklore in late Antiquity, she is now firmly established as a figure in Neopaganism, which draws heavily on folkloric traditions associating Hecate with 'The Wild Hunt',^[witches, hedges and 'hedge-riding', and other themes that parallel, but are not explicitly attested in, Classical sources.

Cross-cultural parallels

Isis and her various other names and symbols from The Golden Ass.

The figure of Hecate can often be associated with the figure of Isis in Egyptian myth. Lucius Apuleius (c. 123—c. 170 CE) in his work The Golden Ass associates Hecate with Isis:

'I am she that is the natural mother of all things, mistress and governess of all the elements, the initial progeny of worlds, chief of powers divine, Queen of heaven, the principal of the Gods celestial, the light of the goddesses: at my will the planets of the air, the wholesome winds of the Seas, and the silences of hell be disposed; my name, my divinity is adored throughout all the world in divers manners, in variable customs and in many names, [...] Some call me Juno, others Bellona of the Battles, and still others Hecate. Principally the Ethiopians which dwell in the Orient, and the Egyptians which are excellent in all kind of ancient doctrine, and by their proper ceremonies accustomed to worship me, do call me Queen Isis.[...]'

In the syncretism during Late Antiquity of Hellenistic and late Babylonian ("Chaldean") elements, Hecate was identified with Ereshkigal, the underworld counterpart of Inanna in the Babylonian cosmography. In the Michigan magical papyrus (inv. 7), dated to the late 3rd or early 4th century CE, Hecate Ereschigal is invoked against fear of punishment in the afterlife.

Before she became associated with Greek mythology, she had many similarities with Artemis (wilderness, and watching over wedding ceremonies)

Dogs were sacred to Hecate and associated with roads, domestic spaces, purification, and spirits of the dead. They played a similar symbolic role in ancient China, where dogs were conceived as representative of the household sphere, and as protective spirits appropriate when transcending geographic and spatial boundaries. Dogs were also sacrificed to the road. As Roel Sterckx observes, "The use of dog sacrifices at the gates and doors of the living and the dead as well as its use in travel sacrifices suggest that dogs were perceived as daemonic animals operating in the liminal or transitory realm between the domestic and the unknown, danger-stricken outside world".

This can be compared to Pausanias' report that in the Ionaian city of Colophon in Asia Minor a sacrifice of a black female puppy was made to Hecate as "the wayside goddess", and Plutarch's observation that in Boeotia dogs were killed in purificatory rites. Dogs, with puppies often mentioned, were offered to Hecate at crossroads, which were sacred to the goddess.

Nature of her cult

Regarding the nature of her cult, it has been remarked, "she is more at home on the fringes than in the center of Greek polytheism. Intrinsically ambivalent and polymorphous, she straddles conventional boundaries and eludes definition."

• Part of the Great Change, I believe, is the "Return" of the Goddess, corresponding to Isis, Ishtar, Shekinah, Sakti, the Virgin Mary, etc. This is "The Woman With Child," in Revelation 12, I think. In "Isis Unveiled," vol. 2, Blavatsky said the Woman in Rev. 12 is "Isis."

  The "little girl," and "washing" is a frequent theme in today's dreams - and in myths. There is often a "problem" with the little girl. In some cases she is held hostage or put away for a time. At this point, my guess is that this corresponds to the feminine aspect (from the Goddess) within each of us. It is our dreaming/intuitive/right-brain side. In the time cycle, the male portion has been dominant. I had a coincidence back in 1990, when I wrote some notes with theories about Adam and Eve.

6-30-14  DREAM  This felt like an identical dream to one I've had before, or so similar - it was real.

I was with a man who looked very much like E.J.  from a TV show and right before I woke up, I told him,  "I just met the Arch Grand Duke."
