WAR IN ISRAEL AND PALESTINE

3-29-02 - Thank you for coming

We are at war!  Yes! War!  What else can you call it when one country invades another and goes right into the compound of Yasar Arafat and occupies it?  They are virtually tying his hands from doing anything other than fearing for his life desite the government's adamant statement that they are NOT going to harm him. 

At the same time, another young woman has lost her life in a suicide bombing.  She took not only her only life but two other human beings who were only trying to buy groceries for their families. Many others were hurt.

This kind of terrorism must STOP.  It does no good to kill only to be killed in return. This is not the way for humankind to take care of their own.

This area has been constantly under siege for centuries. Neither side has the right to be where they are. Understandably, this is political, as are all the countries in the area occupying land that once belonged to others. No one has the right to be where they are and then demand that others cannot be where THEY are.

At some time in the future, this WILL come to an end, and it will not be an end that any side will appreciate. No one will have land they can live on. The land will not be livable.  The terrorism that is going on now will be deem the land unlivable because it will be full of radiation.

We cannot interfere in this war, except for the words we put into their ears. But they are not listening. People DO NOT WANT PEACE. Those people who are doing the terrorism now DO NOT WANT PEACE.  They have their own agenda and are working hard to make sure that Israel and Palestine both are not where they are. This Peace process is doomed to failure, even if papers are signed saying that it is, it will not last. That is not the way of those people.  It cannot fail to lose the way it is going.

Please, if anyone has any authority who read these words, please pass them along - the terrorism must STOP. This is not the way to PEACE.  THIS IS NOT THE WAY.
