SPIRIT MESSAGE - WAR, THE PROMISED LAND, PEACE

4-4-2002 - Thank you for coming. Today, we want to talk about war. We have mentioned the razor blade story. If one is walking on the edge of a razor blade, if one is not careful, one can get a nasty cut. Thus this situation is in Israel and Palestine; not to mention Lebanon who has chosen to get into the fray.

And there are the Palestinians who have gone into a Christian Holy Place to bring in the Christians whom they hate with a passion. The terrorists are the ones who are fighting. Do not blame this on all Palestinians. Most Palestinians are willing to live in peace as they did live side by side with Jews before the U.N. decided to create the state of Israel so the Jews of Germany had somewhere to go. That is what started this current conflict. Neither side has the WILL to say "No! I won't go there, if a situation comes up which requires discretion. They can only see the 'eye for an eye' mentality that has come down through the ages.

There are those still in Palestine  who would prefer that Israel not exist at all and will stay at war until that happens. They do not realize and do not care that death will take them out first. They would prefer to martyr themselves for their cause, to rid the world of their enemy - the Jews.

Jews consider themselves the chosen ones and want the 'Promised Land', which was promised to them all those centuries ago.

One must 'earn' gifts - though it may seem that gifts should be freely given, this one comes with a price, the heaviest price of all - 'life'.

The Promised Land is on the other side of the veil. All of humanity will go to the 'Promised Land' - some sooner than others. The Promised Land is full of Joy and laughter. There is singing and dancing, hugs and love. In the Promised Land, there is no sickness and no death.

One does not stay there forever though - one yearns to be with their loved ones they left behind and sooner or later, they must return to from where they came. Indeed you can feel them around you from time to time. They enjoy visiting their loved ones, seeing what is going on, kibitzing over the kitchen stove, listening in on conversations of interest, attempting to put a word in here or there when they can. If you would listen closely, you would hear them. And be assured, if you are sick or nearing death, they are with you.

This should give you some comfort. You are never really alone. Those you love are always with you. What they really want for you is PEACE, JOY, AND LOVE.

Please strive to give this gift to them too, a gift that can only come from the heart.
