Mercy Killing, Forgiveness and Love

Hello Dears: I am with you today to share the sorrow of others. Many people out there are in great suffering and pain as we speak. You have seen a television case of great agony from diseases that people suffer from and their loved one who care for them. It is a difficult road to walk for both of them.
There are many such diseases, Huntington's Disease, Muscular Dystrophy, ALS, and many others where the person suffers great pain as well as being trapped in their bodies.
The people who love them and care for them, suffer as well, because no one wants their loved ones to suffer.
It is not God who brings on these diseases and these people have done no wrong to bring their diseases on themselves. It is part of 'life' and eventually brings 'death' in the grand cycle.
I don't want to spout off great platitudes of the 'saints' and 'masters' and try to make a comparison here. We are talking about regular human beings enduring great suffering.
Just yesterday, a woman killed her two grown sons who both had Huntington's disease, which was inherited from their father who also had the disease. The woman not only suffered in caring for the three men in her life, she suffered great agony and emotional pain in the decision to end their lives for them, and will continue to suffer for killing them as well, for now she will never see them again until she goes home to be with them at the end of her own life.
Sometime, in the future though, she will come to peace within herself, that she saved them from the suffering they would have endured the rest of their natural lives had they been allowed to live them.
They are already at Peace with those who crossed over before them, and they understand what their mother did for them, and why, and they love her all the more for helping them to end their suffering.
We do not sit in judgment on what individuals do, when they make a decision to end a loved one's life when it is out of mercy. In many cases, the sick person begs others to end their life because they are incapable of doing it for themselves.
Many people in deep depression have done likewise and ended their own lives or even of others. We cannot judge the level of suffering of them and deem to know what their mental anguish is.
We can only love them and find forgiveness in our own hearts. We already know that forgiveness has been given by those who have crossed over.
Forgiving themselves is the hardest thing to do and if we can help them do that, we should try to do so.
Of course there are laws in country's and states which must be obeyed and changed when they are wrong.
The main thing is to forgive and to love these people in their sorrow and grief, no matter if they are the ones who did the mercy killing, or others in the family who are grieving for their loss.

In forgiveness, one released oneself to gain freedom and find Peace.
