Earth's Core, Magnetic Field Changing Fast, Study Says

Rapid changes in the churning movement of Earth's liquid outer core are weakening the magnetic field in some regions of the planet's surface, a new study says.

"What is so surprising is that rapid, almost sudden, changes take place in the Earth's magnetic field," said study co-author Nils Olsen, a geophysicist at the Danish National Space Center in Copenhagen.

The findings suggest similarly quick changes are simultaneously occurring in the liquid metal, 1,900 miles (3,000 kilometers) below the surface, he said.

The swirling flow of molten iron and nickel around Earth's solid center triggers an electrical current, which generates the planet's magnetic field.

The study, published recently in Nature Geoscience, modeled Earth's magnetic field using nine years of highly accurate satellite data.

Flip-Flop

Fluctuations in the magnetic field have occurred in several far-flung regions of Earth, the researchers found.

In 2003 scientists found pronounced changes in the magnetic field in the Australasian region. In 2004, however, the changes were focused on Southern Africa.

The changes "may suggest the possibility of an upcoming reversal of the geomagnetic field," said study co-author Mioara Mandea, a scientist at the German Research Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam.

Earth's magnetic field has reversed hundreds of times over the past billion years, and the process could take thousands of years to complete.

Upper Atmosphere Radiation

The decline in the magnetic field also is opening Earth's upper atmosphere to intense charged particle radiation, scientists say.

Satellite data show the geomagnetic field decreasing in the South Atlantic region, Mandea said, adding that an oval-shaped area east of Brazil is significantly weaker than similar latitudes in other parts of the world.

"It is in this region that the shielding effect of the magnetic field is severely reduced, thus allowing high energy particles of the hard radiation belt to penetrate deep into the upper atmosphere to altitudes below a hundred kilometers (62 miles)," Mandea said.

This radiation does not influence temperatures on Earth. The particles, however, do affect technical and radio equipment and can damage electronic equipment on satellites and airplanes, Olsen of the Danish space center said.

The study documents just how rapidly the flow in Earth's core is changing, said Peter Olson, a geophysics professor at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, who was not involved with the research.

By using satellite imagery, researchers have a nearly continuous measurement of changes, he said.

"They provide a good rationale to continue this monitoring longer," Olson said.

Will Compasses Point South?

The collapse of the Earth's magnetic field, which both guards the planet and guides many of its creatures, appears to have started in earnest about 150 years ago. The field's strength has waned 10 to 15 percent, and the deterioration has accelerated of late, increasing debate over whether it portends a reversal of the lines of magnetic force that normally envelop the Earth.

During a reversal, the main field weakens, almost vanishes, then reappears with opposite polarity. Afterward, compass needles that normally point north would point south, and during the thousands of years of transition, much in the heavens and Earth would go askew.

A reversal could knock out power grids, hurt astronauts and satellites, widen atmospheric ozone holes, send polar auroras flashing to the equator and confuse birds, fish and migratory animals that rely on the steadiness of the magnetic field as a navigation aid. But experts said the repercussions would fall short of catastrophic, despite a few proclamations of doom and sketchy evidence of past links between field reversals and species extinctions.

Although a total flip may be hundreds or thousands of years away, the rapid decline in magnetic strength is already damaging satellites.

Last month, the European Space Agency approved the world's largest effort at tracking the field's shifts. A trio of new satellites, called Swarm, are to monitor the collapsing field with far greater precision than before and help scientists forecast its prospective state.

"We want to get some idea of how this would evolve in the near future, just like people trying to predict the weather," said Dr. Gauthier Hulot, a French geophysicist working on the satellite plan. "I'm personally quite convinced we should be able to work out the first predictions by the end of the mission."

The discipline is one of a number - like high-energy physics and aspects of space science - where Europeans have recently come from behind to seize the initiative, dismaying some American experts.

No matter what the new findings, the public has no reason to panic, scientists say. Even if a flip is imminent, it might take 2,000 years to mature. The last one took place 780,000 years ago, when Homo erectus was still learning how to make stone tools.

Some experts suggest a reversal is overdue. "The fact that it's dropping so rapidly gives you pause," said Dr. John A. Tarduno, a professor of geophysics at the University of Rochester. "It looks like things we see in computer models of a reversal."

In an interview, Dr. Tarduno put the odds of an impending flip at more likely than not, adding that some of his colleagues were placing informal bets on the possibility but realized they would probably be long gone by the time the picture clarified.

Deep inside the Earth, the magnetic field arises as the fluid core oozes with hot currents of molten iron and this mechanical energy gets converted into electromagnetism. It is known as the geodynamo. In a car's generator, the same principle turns mechanical energy into electricity.

No one knows precisely why the field periodically reverses, but scientists say the responsibility probably lies with changes in the turbulent flows of molten iron, which they envision as similar to the churning gases that make up the clouds of Jupiter.

In theory, a reversal could have major effects because over the ages many aspects of nature and society have come to rely on the field's steadiness.

When baby loggerhead turtles embark on an 8,000-mile trek around the Atlantic, they use invisible magnetic clues to check their bearings. So do salmon and whales, honeybees and homing pigeons, frogs and Zambian mole rats, scientists have found.

On a planetary scale, the magnetic field helps shield the Earth from solar winds and storms of deadly particles. Its so-called magnetosphere extends out 37,000 miles from Earth's sunlit side and much farther behind the planet, forming a cometlike tail.

Among other things, the field's collapse, scientists say, could let in bursts of radiation, causing a variety of disruptions.

Poles Ready to Flip

There are large holes in the Earth's magnetic field over the Atlantic and the Arctic, indicating that the north and south poles may be getting ready to reverse positions in a magnetic flip. This would produce a period of chaos, when compasses no longer point north, migrating animals head in the wrong direction and satellites are burned up by solar radiation. There have already been recent cases where migrating birds ended up in strange places, far from their regular destinations. The speed of the change has surprised scientists.

In the January 13 Sunday Times of London, Jonathan Leake writes that the Danish Orsted satellite first noted the holes. The Earth's magnetic fields are generated by currents of molten iron flowing around the solid core. Sometimes giant holes form in the liquid metal and this can change or even reverse the magnetic fields above them. Andy Jackson, a specialist in geomagnetism, says, "Such flips normally happen every 500,000 years, but it has been 750,000 years since the last one," so we're overdue.

The magnetosphere protects the Earth from solar radiation that could sterilize everything on the surface. Although the magnetic field won't disappear, it may get weaker while the poles switch. The resulting surge in radiation could cause cancer, reduce crop yields and confuse migrating animals. North Magnetic Pole may leave Canada

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- The strength of the Earth's magnetic field has decreased 10 percent over the past 150 years, raising the remote possibility that it may collapse and later reverse, flipping the planet's poles for the first time in nearly a million years, scientists said.

At that rate of decline, the field could vanish altogether in 1,500 to 2,000 years, said Jeremy Bloxham of Harvard University.

Hundreds of years could pass before a flip-flopped field returned to where it was 780,000 years ago. But scientists at a meeting of the American Geophysical Union cautioned that scenario is an unlikely one.

"The chances are it will not," Bloxham said Thursday. "Reversals are a rare event."

Instead, the weakening, measured since 1845, could represent little more than an "excursion," or lull, which can last for hundreds of years, said John Tarduno of the University of Rochester.

Such a lull could still have significant effects, especially in regions where the weakening is most pronounced.

Over the southern Atlantic Ocean, a continued weakening of the magnetic field has diminished the shielding effect it has locally in protecting the Earth from the natural radiation that bombards our planet from space, scientists said.

As a result, satellites in low-Earth orbit are left vulnerable to that radiation as they pass over the region, known as the South Atlantic anomaly.

Among the satellites that have fallen prey to the harmful effects was a Danish satellite designed, ironically, to measure the Earth's magnetic field, Bloxham said.

The weakening -- if coupled with a subsequently large influx of radiation in the form of protons streaming from the sun -- can also affect the chemistry of the atmosphere, said Charles Jackman of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.

That can lead to significant but temporary losses of atmospheric ozone, he said.

GORDON MICHAEL SCALLION

A futurist looks at multiple things, including consciousness. But the ability to look at consciousness is not given to everyone. It requires clairvoyance, and Scallion claims to have this power. By the classical definition, a clairvoyant can see events remotely in distance or time, in explicit detail. Therefore, it seems, Scallions definition of futurism weds a study of statistical probability with the ability to see future events movie-like. This is a potent combination that seems to allow him to time events more precisely, usually a great problem for psychics who sometimes cant tell the past from the future because they don't take trends into consideration.

Scallion also gets information in dreams. He says, That's one of my main sources because its so vivid. I see a vision and I have to figure it out. If I remember the dream when I wake up, I can recall it any time, any year, and as it replays itself, I can simply ask questions and get some understanding of what it means. We asked him how the answers to his questions were presented. GMS: Usually its auditory. AR: That would imply an entity of some sort. GMS: Not necessarily. It could be subconscious mind that little inner voice that tells us things. But there are different voices that I hear many times. I've had conversations with prophets, and people who have recently passed over. He confesses to some perplexity about the information he receives. Its the interaction that I don't know about between my soul and where it goes for information. I keep hearing in my dialogues about monads that my monadic connection is directing me here, and directing me there. So I'm not really sure what that's all about.

The main preoccupation of the Earth Changes Report has been on what many believe to be the coming cataclysms. This certainly applies to his prophecy about the Blue Star. None of the previous prognosticators of mega doom have ever really given us a complete explanation of the cosmic events that some believe could bring about the changes. As he does with everything, Scallion connects all the dots, and paints a vivid picture. The changes, he says, will be sudden and drastic. We asked what would trigger it. Another sun is going to enter into our solar system. AR: This is the so-called Blue Star? GMS: Yes. It has already begun. Even from further out it influences us. Eventually when its close enough, angular forces will be set up between key stars, specifically Sirius B, Arcturus and our sun. That alignment along with this new Blue Star, will trigger a polar shift in the sun. The sun will re-position itself internally, he says, and will alter its field, and it will immediately transfer that change to the earths core (and presumably all the other planets). And instantly the earth will change its magnetic field and the north magnetic pole will shift its position. When does he believe it will happen? It has really been snowballing since the 1930s. But theres going to be an event sometime between 1997 and 1998. In fact, the magnetic north pole has been moving towards the northwest since 1931, and the magnetic south pole is now in the Indian Ocean.

Scallion is the first to fully delineate the devastating and variegated effects of such a radical magnetic pole shift. It will change the weather, he says, all sorts of climatic conditions, the genetic codings (i.e., DNA), the vibration of the earth its actual frequency will increase. This will instantly affect all magnetic devices in the world, and will alter that part of the brain which accesses collective information, removing some of it, and allowing it to relate to the new consciousness. We understood this to mean that the new consciousness will result from the fact that the earth will be in a higher spiritual vibration, and that without the brain change we could all quite possibly go mad. We were reminded of the prophecy in the New Testament, and we will all be changed in the twinkling of an eye.

The New Age Begins

Some will adapt better than others, says Scallion, depending upon their state of consciousness when the shift takes place. Of this he says, You know in the 1920s, 30s and 40s you had a lot of time. You had a lifetime. But 1987 was the turning point. After 87 the die was pretty much cast. And now its at the stage of How fast can you catch up? If you do catch up, then you wont even know you’re going through any changes gaining this kind of growth. Other people will have a very difficult time. And the difficulty will be with dis-ease, mostly in the electrical system of the body. So you'll see new diseases, new plagues. Clearly there will be many casualties. How many? Scallion uses the phrase, a massive loss of life. Estimates by other prognosticators put the numbers in the billions. By when? Between 1998 and 2001.

For those who are left, it will be a total collective human transformation, and will usher in the much-heralded New Age. Says Scallion, Theres a whole new energy system out there, a new race of people. Everything changes. Its like you went to another planet. Six years from now, in the new millennium, people will have access to higher intelligences at birth. Whereas today we might question who can access intuitive information, in the next century, it wouldn't even be a question. Theres a portion of our soul, our monadic connection, that is going to be replaced with another one.

The Great Pyramid as a Time Machine

Presumably, the other consciousnesses may have included Orion, which would support Robert Bauval's theory (see AR Number 5). And in a remarkable corroboration of Bauval's belief that the Great Pyramid was used for time travel, Scallion says that it was indeed a time machine. Scallion first discussed this subject in the May, 1995 ECR, five months before the Bauval interview appeared in Atlantis Rising, so theres no question that both men came to this conclusion independently. We asked for elaboration, and Scallion delivered one of his more incredible explanations one we are very unlikely to hear or read anywhere else. The tuning device, the instrument for bending time, was housed in the grand gallery. It was able to move up and down in a special cradle. Gases were brought up from deep within the earth underneath. There are deep shafts that go down miles and miles and miles until we hit the magma core. They were able to take that heat and gas, and fill a whole chamber, and then when the instrument operated, it was able to bend time in that chamber. The pressure exerted in those chambers was unbelievable. That's why it (the pyramid) required so much mass.

AR: So that's what its purpose was to take individuals in there and to send them on a journey? GMS: Yes. The test was simple. You went into that room with a priest who has already mastered it, and if you were at the right attunement you could go there, and if you weren't you would try again another time. People who perfected all of it were then able to go the stars to instantly be on other stars. AR: Instantly? You mean through a time warp? GMS: Yes. It was the ability to project your astral form and have total awareness there, or if you were well developed you could send your whole image there.

Scallion also clairvoyantly corroborated the research of John Anthony West. The Great Pyramid was underwater for quite awhile, salt water, up to the Queens Chamber. That occurred when there was one of the great cataclysms, around 11,600 years ago. The blocks in those chambers have an epoxy resin the outer ones don't. And that's why even when it was flooded the water only permeated some slight areas. It was hermetically sealed, literally. Scallions use of the word literally here obviously refers to the fact that the phrase hermetically sealed may have had its origin in Hermes waterproofing of the Great Pyramid.

The Hall of Records

As predicted in his initial vision, Scallion was able to obtain complete information about the Hall of Records while in Egypt, by projecting his mind inside and below the monuments. More information was added after the trip. He claims that it contains a chronology of written records of all past civilization (as well as present and future) that have existed on Earth since Man first became a spiritual being, including all the cataclysms. Also to be found here will be prophecies to the year 2001, when a new race begins. Scallion says that there are many underground temples, but in front of the Sphinx is the Great Hall which contains most of the ancient records. The temples may be found on either side of a line drawn from the center of the south wall of the Great Pyramid, to the center of the hind paws of the Sphinx. He says that the entrance to the Great Hall may be found at a depth of 86 meters below the front right paw of the Sphinx.

In our interview Scallion described the incredible, elaborate protective mechanism designed by the priests to insure that only the right individual would gain access to the chambers at precisely the right time in history. They are protected by a form of psychotronics, which is machinery without moving parts that is still connected to the invisible consciousness that guards it. To gain entrance, the vibration, the auric field, of the person entering the room must match the vibration of the statues protecting it. And when it does, the statue stands down, and you just can walk right by. If your vibration doesn't match, then the statue begins to vibrate harmful radiations, and drives you insane, or will kill you. Scallions vision for the future of earth was sketched out in his Millennium Prophecies, given as a lecture at Virginia Beach and published in the ECR of October, 1995. He claims to have received this prophecy from a panel of three androgynous-looking entities in white robes whose blue-grey eyes emitted a white stream. After the catastrophic events of the late 90s, which he now calls the quickening, a new human race will emerge, attuned to the new consciousness. Time, as we know it, will no longer exist. Instead, all change will be dictated by the collective consciousness. It will become the Millennium of Oneness.

78.14 Magnetic Fluctuations of the Planet

"Fluctuations of the magnetic field is due to the field being influenced by a synchronizing frequency, which scientists have been monitoring, of various lengths- daily, yearly, 5-year and 11-year cycles (the sun cycle, 11.2). There is a very long period, resynchronizing frequency, whose half-cycle is about 12,000 years. When this frequency reaches the x-axis (time) there is no magnetic field on the earth. This moment in time happens all over the universe at exactly the same instant, to eliminate all random noise, rippled delays and other imperfections in signal propagation. There is plenty of evidence from geology and mythology to indicate the 12,000 year cycle is a polar reversal".

(Note: It is my opinion that a polar reversal is serious business, "but" there is a "saving mechanism" which appears at just the right time as an infinite spike of potential when the sine-wave meets the nil point x-axis, (horizontal line, Infinite voltage and high frequency: The same potentials found in the Bermuda Triangle phenomena allowing things to disappear into other dimensions). This potential allows those, who have done what they are put here to do, and that is to increase their potential; to evolve in knowledge and good action thereby using this potential or be used by it, to work real miracles- disappearing from this dimension, telekinesis, healing, power of mind over matter, etc. The closer we get to the nil point x-axis , the more exponential powers manifest. This Life-force is ever available to any who choose to align with it).

78.16 When is the Time of Reversal?

(Note: It seems that the magnetic field of the earth and sun has been collapsing for some time now, indicating a reversal transition in the future. Since all stars nova at exactly the same time, and, that a nova is the result of the suns magnetic field letting the corona expand away from the body of the sun (Mythology calls these "Serpents in the sky"), then the time of a nova of a distant sun in the process of a nova, can be calculated as to distance. Once the distance is known, it can be known when our own sun will nova. All stars nova at the same time).

Every time we move into the photon belt or cross the galactic equator, we enter a Satya Yuga. The further we move away from this zone of light, the deeper we sink into a Kali Yuga. If it is true that the advent of the Satya Yuga has to do with these crossing points in the precessional cycle, then the transition is very sudden, and this in my mind has to do with the nature of the quantum leap available to us in this moment of entry.

Half of the precessional cycle is 13,000 years. In both of the above models, something very special happens every 13,000 years, whether it is passing through the photon belt or crossing the galactic equator. Both these events are associated with major shifts in human consciousness as well as shifts within the Earth. This is also associated with a movement from a Kali Yuga back to a Satya Yuga, an Age of Light. Paul LaViolette, author of Earth Under Fire, refers to a pulse of light emanating from the galactic center every 13,000 years. Is this what the photon belt phenomenon, the galactic synchronization beam, and the advent of the Satya Yuga is really about? Paul Winter theorizes that this pulse may be related to the Blue Star of the Hopis, which signified for them the sign of the Great Purification, as we journeyed from the Fourth World into the Fifth World, or the World of Illumination.

There is another interesting geological phenomenon that is relevant to this discussion, and that is the reversal of Earth's magnetic poles. In Reality Revealed, Douglas Vogt and Gary Sultan present evidence that the Earth's magnetic poles have reversed themselves every 13 thousand years or so, and that we are due for another reversal right now. They also suggest that these reversals might be connected with a nova effect of the Sun, in which a blaze of intense solar energy would be sent out throughout the solar system. They claim that the last reversal was 12,400 years ago, although there are others who date this event to either 12,800 or 13,200 years ago. Although the exact date of the polar reversal is disputed, it seems to correlate with the cycle of the yugas, photon belt, and galactic equator.

Every time this has happened in the past, there is a tremendous shifting of energies on the planet. It is as if there is a great cosmic jolt of light that shakes us awake, if we are ready. However, since our Fall into 3-D sometime during the Atlantean period, these polar reversals and alteration of Earth's electromagnetic fields have unfortunately resulted in tremendous upheavals in the Earth's crust, including the sinking and rising of land masses, great earthquakes, volcanoes, and flooding.

I was just talking with a German scientist who was concerned enough to give me this information even though it could mean his loss of freedom. He said that he was working with the Russian government. He said that he would send me the proof of what he was about to tell me. He did not know that I had been following the changes in the geomagnetic fields of the earth. He said two things. First that the Schumann resonance frequency (SRF) of the earth, which many people have been talking about is in truth changing. According to the Russian satellites, the SRF is raising dramatically. We were first told by Gregg Braden, who is a geologist that it was raising. It normally is at about 7.8 Hertz. We were told by Mr. Braden that it had risen up to as high as 11.2 Hertz. Then suddenly the University of California at Berkeley said that there was no change. That everything is normal. It did not make sense. According to Russia, it is now at about 13 hertz and still climbing. The second thing that my German source said is extremely important. He said that both Germany and Russia have documented that the geomagnetic field of the earth is at this moment racing toward zero. He said that the Russian computer models showed that about 10 days ago we passed the point where it could be reversed, meaning that whenever a system gets to this stage, it will go to zero. He then said that the Russian government now believes that the earth's geomagnetic field will go to zero in the near future. Possible as early as the end of July 1998 but definitely before the end of the year. My German source said that the Russian space program has done extensive research around this subject. He said that when the Russians took people outside the earth's magnetic field they recorded specific human reactions. First the astronauts became agitated. Then they became aggressive toward other human beings. Then they went completely insane which they discovered was incurable. They even studied and discovered exactly what happened in the human brain when the field went to zero that caused this insanity. The Germans have created an electronic belt to wear that will create a personal balance of the SRF and the 0.4 gauss geomagnetic field around the human body. This is being given out to key personnel to keep the government running in case this really happens. In addition, three other human discoveries have happened that also indirectly point to this time being the time of the Translation Period.

THE SCHUMANN RESONANCE

CURRENT ZERO POINT NEWS FROM GREGG BRADEN

7-12-03 Gregg Braden is currently traveling around the United States and in the media, telling of the scientific proof of the Earth passing through the Photon Belt and the slowing of the Earths rotation. At the same time there is an increase in the resonant frequency of the Earth (Schumann Resonance). When the Earth stops its rotation and the resonance frequency reaches 13 cycles we will be at a zero point magnetic field. The Earth will be stopped, and in 2 or 3 days it will start turning again in the opposite direction. This will produce a reversal in the magnetic fields around the earth and so forth.

Geophysical Condition #1: Earth's Rising Base Frequency

Earth's background base frequency, or "heartbeat," (called Schumann resonance, or SR) is rising dramatically. Though it varies among geographical regions, for decades the overall measurement was 7.8 cycles per second. This was once thought to be a constant; global military communications developed on this frequency. Recent reports set the rate at over 11 cycles, and climbing. Science doesn't know why, or what to make of it. Gregg Braden found data collected by Norwegian and Russian researchers on this; it's not widely reported in the U.S. (The only reference to SR to be found in the Seattle Library reference section, is tied to the weather. Science acknowledges SR as a sensitive indicator of temperature variations and worldwide weather conditions. Braden believes the fluctuating SR may be a factor in the severe storms, floods, and weather of recent years.)

Geophysical Condition #2: Earth's Diminishing Magnetic Field

While earth's "pulse" rate is rising, her magnetic field strength, on the other hand, is declining. According to Professor Bannerjee of the University of New Mexico, the field has lost up to half its intensity in the last 4,000 years. And because a forerunner of magnetic polar reversals is this field strength, Prof. Bannerjee believes that another reversal is due. Braden believes that because these cyclical Shifts are associated with reversals, Earth's geological record indicating magnetic reversals also marks previous Shifts in history. And, within the enormous time scale represented, there were quite a few of them.

What is a Schumann Resonance?

Believe it or not, the Earth behaves like an enormous electric circuit. The atmosphere is actually a weak conductor and if there were no sources of charge, its existing electric charge would diffuse away in about 10 minutes. There is a 'cavity 'defined by the surface of the Earth and the inner edge of the ionosphere 55 kilometers up. At any moment, the total charge residing in this cavity is 500,000 Coulombs. There is a vertical current flow between the ground and the ionosphere of 1 - 3 x 10^-12 Amperes per square meter. The resistance of the atmosphere is 200 Ohms. The voltage potential is 200,000 Volts. There are about 1000 lightning storms at any given moment worldwide. Each produces 0.5 to 1 Ampere and these collectively account for the measured current flow in the Earth's 'electromagnetic' cavity.

The Schumann Resonances are quasi standing wave electromagnetic waves that exist in this cavity. Like waves on a spring, they are not present all the time, but have to be 'excited' to be observed. They are not caused by anything internal to the Earth, its crust or its core. They seem to be related to electrical activity in the atmosphere, particularly during times of intense lightning activity. They occur at several frequencies between 6 and 50 cycles per second; specifically 7.8, 14, 20, 26, 33, 39 and 45 Hertz, with a daily variation of about +/- 0.5 Hertz. So long as the properties of Earth's electromagnetic cavity remains about the same, these frequencies remain the same. Presumably there is some change due to the solar sunspot cycle as the Earth's ionosphere changes in response to the 11-year cycle of solar activity. Schumann resonances are most easily seen between 2000 and 2200 UT.

Given that the earth's atmosphere carries a charge, a current and a voltage, it is not surprising to find such electromagnetic waves. The resonant properties of this terrestrial cavity were first predicted by the German physicist W. O. Schumann between 1952 and 1957, and first detected by Schumann and Konig in 1954. The first spectral representation of this phenomenon was prepared by Balser and Wagner in 1960. Much of the research in the last 20 years has been conducted by the Department of the Navy who investigate Extremely Low Frequency communication with submarines.

POSSIBLE OUTCOMES

1. Time will appear to speed up as we approach Zero Point. A 24 hour day will seem to about 16 hours or less. Remember the Schumann Resonance (or "heart beat" of Mother Earth) has been 7.8 cycles for thousands of years, but has been rising since 1980. It is at about 12 cycles at present. It stops at 13 cycles.

2. Zero Point or the Shift of the Ages has been predicted by ancient peoples for thousands of years. There have been many shifts including the one that always occurs every 13,000 years at each half of the 26,000 year, Procession of the Equinox.

3. Zero Point or a flip of the magnetic poles will probably happen soon, within the next few years. It could possibly synchronize with the Earth's four cycle biorhythm that occurs every 20 years on the 12th of August. The next occurrence is 12th August 2003. The Philadelphia Experiment and Montauk Project (secret military time traveling) both locked up to the 12th August/20 year biorhythm.

4. It is said that after Zero Point the Sun will rise in the west and set in the east, approx. Past occurrences of this change have been found in ancient records.

5. Interestingly, the New World Order plan to be in power by 2003. This may or may not happen, depending on many factors and agendas. Stay centered and follow your intuition.

6. The Zero Point flip will probably introduce us to the 4th dimension. Here, everything we think or desire will instantly manifest. This includes love and fear. Our INTENTION will be of utmost importance.

7. Most technology that we know will cease to operate. Possible exceptions could be technology based on so called "Zero Point" or free energy.

8. Our physical body is changing as we approach Zero Point. Our DNA is being "upgraded" to 12 strand. A new light body is being created. We are becoming more intuitive.

9. The Mayan Calendar predicted all the changes that are occurring now. They say we are going beyond technology and back to the natural cycles of nature and the Universe. By 2012 we will have entered the 5th Dimension (after the flip to the 4th Dimension at Zero Point).

10. All this information is not fearful. Be prepared for changes that will bring in the new age of light. We are going beyond money and time where fear based concepts are totally dissolved.

I thought the solstice point didn't align with the galaxy until 2012?

Different astronomical computer programs apparently give slightly different results. The main reason I point to the solstice alignment with the galaxy this year is that the extraordinary Full Moon aligns with the galactic equator this year. The precessional movement of the 26,000 year cycle, or Great Year, is so slow that it is impossible to make any meaningful claim as to when it is exact without knowing exactly where the center of the galaxy is -- perhaps to greater precision than we can measure. The difference of twelve years between 2012 and now amounts to 10 minutes of arc. To put this in perspective, the difference between the axis of the exact Full Moon this year, and the axis of the exact solstice at zero degrees Capricorn and Cancer, is 24 minutes of arc. The Sun travels slightly less than one degree per day. There are 60 minutes of arc in a single degree and by convention any astrological alignment within less than a degree is called exact.

In Maya Cosmogenesis 2012 (Bear and Co., 1998) John Major Jenkins does admit in a number of places that the end of 1999 is the real moment of the solstice/galaxy alignment, not 2012. (see p. 114 and appendix 1). Most interesting, I think, is that because the sun is 1/2 degree wide, it has been and will be occulting the solstice/galaxy intersection point at the moment of the solstice for 36 years! (1999 is the mid-point of this period of occultation, when the exact center of the solar disc lies on the galactic equator at the moment of the solstice.) So this solar passage over the galactic equator (what you could call a "galactic eclipse") actually began in 1982 and will continue until 2018, with "totality" occurring now!

Geologist says North Pole may flip to South
A geologist says there are signs the North Pole is about to flip to the South Pole. He claims changes in the way molten iron is flowing in the Earth's core could trigger a switch. Magnetic reversals have happened throughout history and are thought to take a few thousand years. But they are so rare one has never been recorded by man. Currents of molten iron are believed to set up the magnetic poles and changes in the way they flow then lead to the poles flipping. Satellite data has now been used to compare the strength and direction of the magnetic field in 1980 and again in 2000, according to. Experts at the Physics of the Globe Institute of Paris and the Danish Space Research Institute in Copenhagen carried out the comparison and say the magnetic field off the southern tip of Africa has already flipped. Gauthier Hulot, a member of the team, says molten iron there is now moving in a direction which will gradually weaken the dominant magnetic field and then reverse it. He said if the trend continues we could be seeing the first steps toward a new North pole.

The magnetic field of the Earth is changing at the same time events in the Middle East are pushing toward nuclear war. Coincidence? I think not. These shifts in the magnetic pole of the Earth are just the beginning of a process that will involve the shifting of the geophysical poles as well. At some point the centrifugal forces of the spin will act on the heavier portions and cause the entire mantle and crust of this world to shift en mass around the stationary gyroscopic core. Anomalies hint at magnetic pole flip The Earth's magnetic poles might be starting to flip say researchers who have seen strange anomalies in our planet's magnetic field. The magnetic field is created by the flow of molten iron inside the Earth's core. These circulation patterns are affected by the planet's rotation, so the field normally aligns with the Earth's axis - forming the north and south poles. They used data from the Ørsted satellite to study strange variations in the Earth's magnetic field. In particular, one large patch under South Africa is pointing in the opposite direction from the rest of the Earth's field and has been growing for hundreds of years. We can't really tell what will happen," says Hulot. "But we speculate that we're in an unusual situation that might be related to a reversal."

Pole Shift Alert - There have been warnings about shifts in mass and gravity, related to volcanic upheavals and large movements of magma within Earth's mantle, as a prelude to a geophysical pole shift. These same shifts in mass within the interior of the planet, would also cause localized changes to the direction and strength of the magnetic field of the Earth. This would be especially true in areas where large amounts of iron based magma are welling up beneath the surface. A huge plume of magma runs beneath Southern Africa and the magnetic lines of force emanating from the Earth's core are being distorted and thereby causing anomalies mentioned in the article above. These are further signs of an impending geophysical pole shift.

W A S H I N G T O N, April 18 — Two superplumes of molten rock appear to be powering through the boundary between the Earth's upper and lower mantle, perhaps feeding volcanoes and affecting movement of the planet's crust. New evidence of the superplumes located beneath the south central Pacific Ocean and southern Africa comes from studies of seismic waves conducted by scientists at the University of California at Berkeley and reported in Friday's issue of the journal Science. Smaller regions of magma rising to the Earth's crust power volcanoes and other hot spots. But the superplumes come from far deeper, crossing the boundary between the upper and lower mantle about 400 miles deep, an area that had been thought by some scientists to impede the flow of material. "Generally, it is assumed that only about 10 percent of the heat that comes out at the surface of the Earth comes from the earth's core. This number may thus be underestimated, perhaps as much as by a factor of two," she added. Regions above the superplumes tend to bulge upward. The plateaus of southern and eastern Africa are about 1,600 feet higher than most old continental areas in the world, she pointed out. This is referred to as the "African superswell." Also, she said, heat flow from the Earth's interior measured in a wide area of southern Africa is higher than expected, indicating that an unusually large supply of heat must be coming from underneath. There are volcanoes in Africa and in the southern Atlantic Ocean that could be related to the superplume in the same way as Hawaii and other hotspot volcanoes in the southern Pacific may be related to the Pacific superswell, she said.

Mainstream UK Press warning of Pole Shift

In October '02 the official German Gov't warned of an imminent pole shift and now the mainstream UK news is doing the same. Gauthier Hulot of the Paris Geophysical Institute has discovered Earth's magnetic field seems to be disappearing most alarmingly near the poles, a clear sign that a flip may soon take place.

Earth's magnetic field - the force that protects us from deadly radiation bursts from outer space - is weakening dramatically. Scientists have discovered that its strength has dropped precipitously over the past two centuries and could disappear over the next 1,000 years.

The effects could be catastrophic. Powerful radiation bursts, which normally never touch the atmosphere, would heat up its upper layers, triggering climatic disruption. Navigation and communication satellites, Earth's eyes and ears, would be destroyed and migrating animals left unable to navigate.

'Earth's magnetic field has disappeared many times before - as a prelude to our magnetic poles flipping over, when north becomes south and vice versa,' said Dr Alan Thomson of the British Geological Survey in Edinburgh.

'Reversals happen every 250,000 years or so, and as there has not been one for almost a million years, we are due one soon.'

For more than 100 years, scientists have noted the strength of Earth's magnetic field has been declining, but have disagreed about interpretations. Some said its drop was a precursor to reversal, others argued it merely indicated some temporary variation in field strength has been occurring.

But now Gauthier Hulot of the Paris Geophysical Institute has discovered Earth's magnetic field seems to be disappearing most alarmingly near the poles, a clear sign that a flip may soon take place.

Using satellite measurements of field variations over the past 20 years, Hulot plotted the currents of molten iron that generate Earth's magnetism deep underground and spotted huge whorls near the poles.

Hulot believes these vortices rotate in a direction that reinforces a reverse magnetic field, and as they grow and proliferate these eddies will weaken the dominant field: the first steps toward a new polarity, he says.

And as Scientific American reports this week, this interpretation has now been backed up by computer simulation studies.

How long a reversal might last is a matter of scientific controversy, however. Records of past events, embedded in iron minerals in ancient lava beds, show some can last for thousands of years - during which time the planet will have been exposed to batterings from solar radiation. On the other hand, other researchers say some flips may have lasted only a few weeks.

Exactly what will happen when Earth's magnetic field disappears prior to its re-emergence in a reversed orientation is also difficult to assess. Compasses would point to the wrong pole - a minor inconvenience. More importantly, low-orbiting satellites would be exposed to electromagnetic batterings, wrecking them.

In addition, many species of migrating animals and birds - from swallows to wildebeests - rely on innate abilities to track Earth's magnetic field. Their fates are impossible to gauge.

As to humans, our greatest risk would come from intense solar radiation bursts. Normally these are contained by the planet's magnetic field in space. However, if it disappears, particle storms will start to batter the atmosphere.

'These solar particles can have profound effects,' said Dr Paul Murdin, of the Institute of Astronomy, Cambridge. 'On Mars, when its magnetic field failed permanently billions of years ago, it led to its atmosphere being boiled off. On Earth, it will heat up the upper atmosphere and send ripples round the world with enormous, unpredictable effects on the climate.'
